Hi there! Guess who's NOT going to talk about voting tonight!
...Well, not me, because I just screwed myself up. Oh well.
Honestly, I don't care. Do what you want, that's what voting is about. If you don't feel like voting, go ahead and don't. I certainly won't hunt you down with a flamethrower and a rusty set of steak knives.
I've been feeling sad lately about silly things. Mostly about how some of my favorite manga series are over. First Deon Diary, then Ghost (Eerie Queerie). And the end of Gravitation is coming up soon. It's really pretty depressing. I don't want these beautiful stories to end! I mean, when a book ends, that's okay, because when you read it again later you might end up with a better experience, and things will seem different, but with manga, since all the pictures are laid out already... I don't like rereading manga much. I'm going to miss Gravitation, I really am. I'll still have all 12 volumes sitting nice and cozy on the shelf, but it's just not the same...
*sigh* Blah blah sad, blah blah whine, blah blah life sucks. I should really stop complaining so much. It would help if life were a little nicer though.

I'm going to fail history. And possibly lit. And possibly Latin, too, though that is more doubtful.
All without grace.
WHY AM I SO STUPID?!

(And yes, I drew my new picture all on my lonesome. It's pretty nice. One of my more successful attempts to draw aminals.)
(And yes, I meant to say "aminals".)

Happy All Hallow's Eve, everyone! Enjoy the festive holiday colors. I'd like to hear about your Halloween experiences, whether they be parties, costumes, candy, decorations, whatever. (In case you couldn't tell, I LOVE THIS HOLIDAY!!)
So, here's the deal with moi: Our house will be unoccupied for most of the night except for the doggies, since my parents are going to play poker with Ash's parents. We're putting out some baskets of weird Asian candy, which should keep the kids feeling judicious. My mom and I worked hard on some demented ravens made from paper, paper-mache, wire, paint, feathers, and cardboard...whew. They also have little light-up eyes, so they'll glow as long as the batteries last. >_> We didn't do jack-o-lanterns for lack of time, but I really like our ravens, so I'm okay with that.
I'm going to be an undead Japanese school girl. At first I was thinking I'd just reuse my cosplay outfit (again), but then I decided to be undead too, to jazz it up. So, fake blood, lots of makeup, the whole shabang (sp?). And I'm a-goin' with my friends, and we're going to Perry Street, a street that gets really done up for Halloween, and blocked off and everything. Lisa will be an angel of death. Ashley will be...? Stephanie...???!?!? But anyway, I'm really excited and high on multiple sodas and a cup of coffee and some candy and some shortbread cookies and some french toast and I'm going to explode any minute now because I will spontaneously combust from the friction cause by typing to fast and for so long and-----
*deep breath*
So, once again, happy Halloween, and be safe tonight, whatever your plans. Also remember to enjoy yourself, because that's what holidays are for: relaxing and taking time out to be happy and spend time with people you like. And other stuff, but that's the important, non-religious part.
(Note: The religious part of this holiday--believe it or not there is one--is the connection to All Saint's Day, tomorrow, where we honor the saints and so forth. Halloween is another celebration of that combined with a Celtic holiday and a whole bunch of other junk from all over the place. But like all other original holidays it started out religious--cool!

Fanfic Blather
All right, all right. Am I just crazy? Do I just have an odd mind? Because any pairing I come up with on my own (besides the very obvious CrowleyxAzi one in Good Omens) is just floating in oblivion as far as the other fangirls out there are concerned. XzarxMontaron? Unheard of. RincewindxTwoflower? Nope. Though Rincewind has been paired with a number of other characters, including some sort of cat I have not read about yet. WHY? Why such odd coincidences?
-_- I will just have to write my own fanfics then. You have been forewarned. And you could have prevented it too, but noooo. *brandishes pen and paper*

I think I am stuck in some sort of time warp. This is mainly because I haven't gotten the digest from the GC Anime Club Yahoo group yet...
So! Halloween! WHEEEEEEEE!!! Free sugar-highs for everybody! Um, yeah. ^_^ I was teh sick yesterday, but I ams better now. Yupyup.
So I'm going conning this weekend and then trick-or-treating on Sunday night with a heap of friends, so it should be an exciting weekend. I'm quite ecstatic and full of anticipation. (In case you're wondering, Imma going to Anime USA, $40 at the door.)
I finished the second Discworld book and have started the third. They are just that awesome. Buy them. Now. Go to your favorite bookstore, look in the sci-fi section, select any and all books by Terry Pratchett. He deserves it.
My hands smell like dog shampoo.

Ah, angry rants about computer troubles...
AIM REALLY does not like my computer. There's a little ad space on the buddy list windows that sometimes has annoying videos in it, and lo and behold I am being STALKED by a video about how bad John Edwards is. I really have no idea who the hell John Edwards even is, and I don't particularly care about how he is supposedly "making South Carolina a more dangerous place to be sick" because a) I am not sick, and b) oddly enough, I don't live in South Carolina! Anyway, it keeps opening up whenever I open my buddy list, and it makes my comp really slow and makes it impossible to use AIM.
And if I had any tolerance for things that are popular I might very well use another program to sign on, but I'm going to battle it out. I will prevail, because I have the will to keep opening that window until John Edwards is dead and nobody cares anymore.
...
Yeah.
