A lot of meaningless fangirl blather (heeeyyy, blather is a cool word!)
*contented sigh* The rabid fangirl part of my brain has been extremely active lately, and as such my composure is quite relaxed, when not bouncing off the walls in an amiable manner.
(Whoooo, lookit the big words and neat sentence structure...)
I have been disappointed so far, looking for Baldur's Gate fanfiction (yup, I'm an addict now). F/F and M/F. Bah. Am I the only one who sees Xzar/Montaron? *grumble* Not that I'd want to read fics involving someone so grouchy as Montaron, but it would be nice to know I'm not completely alone. Xzar is decidedly my favorite NPC, except perhaps for Boo. Anywayses.
Y'know what else there isn't enough of? High-rated Good Omens fanfiction! I know, I know, I'm puching the fan-made pairings right now, but they are rather delectable, the demon and the angel. *fangirl smirk*

Phew. Well. I'm stuck going to Annapolis with my great aunt on Wednesday to help her pick out colors for her new house. If she hadn't asked me directly to come, I would have found it easier to decline, but I'm just such a pushover. Oh well. At least her house will look nice. *shrug*

Ashley is my newest convertee. First got her hooked on Furuba, then moved on to greater things... Gravitation. I've got my very own yaoi student. There were some great moments while we were watching the bootleg. There are considerably less sexy scenes in the anime, but during the first one (which is just a scene of Yuki and Shuichi's kissing sillhouette sort of falling over o.O), Ashley looked at me, slightly puzzled. "Wait, did they...do it?" she asked hesitantly. I nodded and couldn't help grinning. "But...how?" I sighed. "How do you think, Ashley?" A pause. "Oooohhhhh. EW!" (She got over the "ew" stage quickly, evidently, as she required me to let her keep my entire Gravi manga collection for her to reread.) The second one, which is just as suggestive as the first (dark room, shot of the floor, littered with Shu's, uh, [girl's] school uniform), elicited another confused response from Ashley. "Wait, is Shuichi just running around naked now?!" I looked at her pointedly. "Ashley, what do you think happened?" (The thinking part works very well, it would seem.) "Oooooohhhhhh." And she laughed the whole time at Hiro because the subtitles called him Ho. Meanie.

So, my adventures as, er, myself. I finally got an easy idea for Otakon. I'm gonna get myself a plain T-shirt, write "Those yellow people have been dancing here" on the front in yellow, and on the back in red and dramatic lettering, "He's robbering the studio!" Maybe write "Ho" somewhere discreet. I figure, whoever gets the joke is my new friend. (If you don't... That's ok, I still love you. Just not as much.)
