I just browsed over the article about why Kikyou should be favored over Kagome as Inuyasha's gal. One thing I noticed that it failed to mention was the most practical reason Kagome isn't the right one for Inu. Kagome can't stay in the feudal era, and Inuyasha definitely can't stay in the present, since all his friends (though he'd never admit it) are back in his own time and there are a lot of basic differences between the way things work in the two different ages. Inuyasha would have to go to school, but he wouldn't know any of the stuff they were teaching, for instance. (We'll not mention his ears and white hair.) And if Kagome went back to the feudal era, she would leave everyone behind worried. Her friends wouldn't understand and her family would miss her. So it would have to be a long-distance relationship, but then again, what will happen to the Shikon No Tama if the gang ever assembles it and Inuyasha decides what he'll do with it, if anything. Will kagome be able to keep it so she can continue to travel back and forth?

So this relationship would just be too difficult to keep up, and with the way Kagome and Inuyasha fight, it would fall to pieces.

Just an observation.
