I saw Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu DELUXE yesterday. It was very... interesting. But now I keep getting the theme song stuck in my head.
Have any of you ever read a terribly discouraging book called Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain? Sure, it might not be discouraging to the aspiring artist, buthere's the bit--in the very first chapter--that started to worry me.
"You will soon discover that drawing is a skill that can be learned by every normal person with average eyesight and average eye-hand coordination -- with sufficient ability, for example, to thread a needle or catch a baseball. Contrary to popular opinion, manual skill is not a primary factor in drawing. If your handwriting is readable, or if you can print legibly, you have ample dexterity to draw well."
I have none of these skills, yet I am not too bad of an artist. This worries me deeply. Science and philosophy has been proved wrong. What next? Will gravity suddenly reverse itself when the moon gets too close to Earth? Will tomatoes be vegetables instead of fruits?
It is a dark, lonely, and confusing world when you believe everything you read.
