All together now...
I adopted a hamster! She's adorable... Less than a year old, black bear hamster. She's almost all black but has a white stripe down her chest, white paws, a grey tail, and a tiny little white spot on her forehead. I named her Kir (King of Bandit Jing, anyone?). She's a lot more social than my last hamster, Brindle... He wasn't a people hamster. But Kir is curious and loves human contact. I just feel bad we had to wake her up in the middle of the day to take her home.
And yes, you can now reel off songs from Hamtaro at me, I'll join in. ^_^

Also I got a little model of Sessoumaru, with both his swords (Tenseiga and Tokijin) and an actually fluffy fluff! Unfortunately not as posable as D, but that's okay. I hope Sessy's happy, cuz I spent all my allowance on him.
Also also I got some more little presents the other day from more extended family. The best was a figure drawing set with soft-lead pencils, a kneaded eraser, an aluminum pencil sharpener (I love those things), a sketch diary, and--wait for it--a wooden manikin! *excitement* Okay, well, I had one but it was from Ikea and it sucked. It was more for decoration. This, however, is the real deal, and has been useful to me already.
