I really need to talk to Gerry about the layout. I've noticed a few things about it, plus the music is gone (*tear? meh*) since it auto-started (seeing as I couldn't find any good MP3's anyway). Too many things going away... Mostly just the music and my sanity, but added up that's a lot!

Today was so much fun. So much pain, too, but so much fun despite the pain. Social studies was interesting. I picked up a few quotes.
Mrs. Peagols: Get back here, you piece of balogne!

Mrs. Peagols: Well, I don't have a dog. I've had two-year-olds though. (after a discussion about how if you throw a ball your two-year-old will go fetch it)

Question: Von Steuben (a German general of American troops during the revolution) noted that American soldiers often questioned orders. What might explain this attitude?
Lisa: I think they couldn't understand his accent.

Somehow social studies always turns out to be very amusing. Right before that was our weekly discussion with Fr. Tucker, and those are always funny too, except this time it was more sad... He told us about how once he saw a German shepherd get hit by a car and the person just kept going, so he stopped his car and blocked the road and called the police to take the dog to an animal hospital. The poor doggy!
Then in PE everyone was crazy. We had twenty-minute periods because of a mass for the Right to Life march tomorrow (which I will be going on! hurrah!), and we played volleyball, so we were bound to get a little wild. At the end of the game someone shouted, "Just keep going, it's the last serve!" So almost everyone started hitting the ball around and Momo even kicked it.
On the way out to the church, Robby said, "Miss Smith, there's blood on my shirt!" in this squeaky voice. It turned out Tim's hand was bleeding and he got some blood on Robby's shirt. O_o
And then, at the end of school, while I was walking with Kelly out to the cars, Molly suddenly ran up, grabbed my backpack from behind, and asked frantically, "Did a cockroach just land on you?!" She pulled at my backpack to check if it had gotten stuck to my back but I managed to run away from her. Turns out it did land on me and I found it when I got home. It made its first appearance just inside the church on the carpet, and it scared the bejeezers out of me for about a half-second. I noticed it wasn't real when it failed to scuttle around menacingly at my foot's proximity.

And that was my day. It sould've been better if Stephen had shot some more lollipops at people, but oh well. By the way, Trouble Chocolate Awareness Week has started at my dad's blog, so you might want to check that out. I think today will be very fun.
