Weeeell, yesterday was our confirmation retreat and ushering. Both were fun. Very fun. ^_^ I couldn't possibly remember and fit every single funny thing in here, so I'll just condense it and give you the main things.

1. We had a skit to do in our group, and my character had no lines or anything, so they changed it and made me the campfire. Mick ran outside and got some sticks and put them on my lap, and they tore up some orange, red, and yellow paper and threw it all over me, and I just sort of wavered back and forth the whole time.
2. Also in the skits, David was being Jesus and had this teeny little paper crown on his head, and while he was reading his lines, it kept slipping down his head.
3. We got to run around a cemetary looking for old dead people we've never heard of. It was a scavenger hunt.
4. For Mass, Tim and I got to carry the candles in the entrance procession. They were both lit at first, but then Tim's went out because there was too much melted wax around the wick. In an attempt to re-light it, he ripped the candle out of the holder and tried to light it off my candle, but only succeeded in putting my candle out. So we got to carry up two unlit candles.

5. At the show, while we were ushering, we were having drinks during intermission and laughing our heads off at Ashley. She was trying to mix two packets of hot chocolate mix into one foam cup of hot water that was almost full. Needless to say, it wasn't qorking too well.
6. Just a few minutes later, Ashley had to go to the bathroom, and was laughing really hard. All of a sudden, she threw her empty cup at me, spit juice on the counter (just a little) and went sprinting to the bathroom with a hand over her butt. Umm, she wet her pants. I don't know how we managed to fix her up, but eventually we went back into the theater and finished watching the show. Phew.

There be the highlights of the night. I go now, away to Suncoast for more Abenobashi Magical Shopping Arcade. By the way, very funny show, try it some time.
