   Blech.
Not in the best of shape right now. My head feels sort of muzzy, like it's been over-stuffed with cotton balls. My skin's all shivery and my stomach is either bubbly or hollow, it can't decide which. Now I have a headache... I think I'm sick.
On the bright side: "Hurricane" Izzy is no more (for MD at least)! Our power at home is still out, so we're visiting my grandparents for dinner and to dump me here to watch Yugioh tomorrow morn. But I wasn't feeling too well and I was kind of snappy, so I'm taking it easy in the apartment, eating a microwave pizza and wishing I hadn't left my root beer at home.
Last night was interesting; we stayed up real late sitting in the basement with flashlights hung from the ceiling and inflatable mattresses on the floor. Czar really loves those mattresses. ^_^ Then, at midnight, it became official Talk Like a Pirate Day, so we all said "Argh!" simultaneously and played that ever-so-lovable VeggieTales song, "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything". I got the part of Larry, ain't I lucky? Yes, I have a very strange family, and that's probably where I got it from.
Then at one in the morning we moved the mattresses upstairs to the living room, but the wind was still freaking us out so we had to move everything to the basement again...where we finally got some sleep, and later we moved back into our own beds on the second floor. I read two full novels over the period of about 24 hours, as well as getting a decent amount of sleep and trying to have a dance party consisting of me, my parents, and my two dogs in the basement with no electricity. That part didn't work out too well as I got heartburn in the middle of it and had to lie down and read some more. I'm only... however old I am *looks around suspiciously* and I've already had heartburn and arthritis. Great. Wait till I'm thirty.
I would stop now if I hadn't just noticed a printout of a couple adorable little Totoro's on my grandma's desk. So cute! Now I will stop as previously planned, and let you get on with your much more interesting lives.
