Well, at Anime Club today I exploded. I won't say much about it because I don't really want the details of my pissed-off-ness to be memorialized in any way. I've been PMSing all day though (at least that's what I assume it is). I left AC early because they were watching Fushigi Yuugi dubbed, which not only have I seen beofre--3 times--but, if you have ever watched FY dubbed...You'll know. You come out of the first ten minutes wanting to shoot Miaka in the face.
*sigh* It's been a rough day. It might seem a little selfish to complain when I've been screaming at everyone, but being angry really doesn't feel good. It feels miserable and it wears me out. I just want to curl up and take a nap, but my mind is too worked up. Bleh.
The good news: It's Friday, I'm having a party on Sunday (Bleack Hearts, for people without Valentines) and FMA on Saturday. And I have online friends whom I haven't alienated yet. That's good.
And even though she can't read this, Stephanie, you're the best friend I've got right now. Even when I was a fuming mess you listened to me rant about nothing, and calmed me down at the same time. And you didn't TRY, and that's the important part. Thank you.

All right, so I lied a little bit. I would just like to take a moment and make a
List of Things I Wish People Would Realize About Anime Club:
-This is an ANIME club. We watch ANIME. If you don't like ANIME, or would rather watch live-action, don't come to the ANIME club.
-If you never contribute anything to our pool of watchable animes, don't complain when we watch something you don't like. You can say you didn't like it, but don't be an ass and start insulting it.
-Not everything revolves around you and your tastes. If you don't like it, leave.
-Don't whine for a humorous anime and then complain that it was "stupid" or "pointless" afterwards.
-Just because you've never heard of it does not mean it's bad. You may not believe me when I say this, but no single person possesses the ultimate knowledge of what anime is good and what isn't. Try something new once in a while.
-Let the girls have something entertaining. We can't watch anime full of boobs and guts every single meeting.
-If the dub sucks, don't watch it. And it's not really tha hilarious how the subtitles don't match what the characters are saying. That got old really fast, folks.
-This is amore of a note on yaoi, but anyway-- Don't whine and go "EWW" when two guys kiss. It doesn't make you sound morally correct, it makes you sound like a five-year-old watching Cinderella. Grow up. And if we can watch Love Hina (though I wish we wouldn't), then we can watch Gravitation.
-And lastly, just because I brought it in does not mean it's gay porn. In fact, I have never brought gay porn to a meeting and then made everyone watch it. Once I brought Gravitation, but it was Graci's fault there was nothing else to watch, and I brought in some manga a few times, but even Gravi isn't that explicit.

A note about my feelings for Love Hina: I HATE it. It's retarded. It's not even funny. It's a group of 10-odd girls beating up on one defenseless guy while half-naked. Unoriginal, gratuitous, and monotonous. I mean, it might have been funny if they beat him up once or twice, but no--every minute of every episode. It's boring! And boobs don't naturally come that size on skinny women! Argh!
