All Hallow's Eve, Damn You
Happy Halloween and all that jazz. It's going to be fun introducing Yuki and Sawa to our crazy American custom of dressing up in near-invisible costumes and taking candy from random strangers in the middle of the night. We carved pumpkins last night, which is also pretty weird when you think about it. We're hollowing out gourds, putting faces and pictures on them, and then sticking lights inside and using them for decoration...when electricity and plastics have already been invented! Nuts.

I got pissed off today when I was walking down the hall in my kimono (I have to wash the ninja outfit; it's got silly string residue on it) and some staff lady goes, "Oh, a little geisha girl! And she's even walking like one, how cute!" Lady, there is no other way to walk in a kimono and geta, you dingus. Otherwise I'd be sprinting to the cafeteria for lunch because I was starving by then. Ugh, I hate being patronized. And I'm 16, 36C, 5'3", green belt in two martial arts forms; nobody better bloody call me "little" anymore. And 5'3" is a perfectly average height for a 16-year-old girl... Bloody race of bloody giants. I've been reading too much British sf/f (Wyrd Sisters, Terry Pratchett, Deep Secret, Diana Wynne Jones), and it's begun to affect my language. >_<

I kinda wish I could be V for Halloween. V reminds me of Exo. Exo reminds me of...Exo. You get the idea.
