Viet Nam
SO, mom has known that I was planning on going to Viet Nam the summer of senior year since sophmore year. Today, I tell her that we are planning on going for 3 weeks in July. Her response: "it's not happening."

... (basically my response)

And why is this you ask? "Because you have so much stuff to do. We're moving in the end of July, and we have to get money for school (ignoring the fact that you have $5000 in the bank for just that purpose), and you have to do all this stuff that is basically bs and I just don't want you to go for that long."

grrr......

and then she says: "make all of yer plans and then we'll discuss this."

But, all I have to do know is figure out what vaccines I need (malaria and that's about it...), need to know how much $ money I have for the trip, when we are going, and I need a visa.

But, omg, she makes me so mad. She's known about this for at least two years, and she decides she wants to move when i'm going on the trip.
