Hmm, I've kinda been having a sucky couple of weeks lately. Events are seriously screwing with my mind.
Haven't really had the energy to post or visit anyone. I get home and am so tired... then, when I finally have some energy in the evenings, I know I have to go to bed because the alarm goes off at 5. I'm not a morning person, so 5 is painful for me....

Now, for the good stuff, since 5475uk1 says to focus on that, I have a new apartment! w00t! It's not too too far from school, so that's nice, but it's definitely not within walking distance. Meh, that's okay. It's a one bedroom apartment, too! Not a studio. It's HUGE! I'm so excited. And the rent's not *terribly* expensive. ^^ I'm so happy! I get to move in on the 17th.
I was really getting worried about finding somewhere to live. The first apartment I *almost* got was given away to some guy. They gave him three chances to get the correct amount of money to them... "Oh, he has to have it by Wed. Otherwise, we'll start talking to you about moving in." "We need to give him until Fri. to get the money to us. It's only fair." And they still gave him to Sat. afternoon! Ah, well, my apartment is MUCH better anyway. ^^

Oh, btw, this 575uk1 I keep talking about is shinigami zero here on Otaku. She has an account to download all your pretty wallpapers, but she doesn't post anything. Perhaps with a little persuasion and guestbook entries, she'll post some more... Then again, maybe not. ^_~
5475uk1 got to come visit me, too. That was exciting. Got to watch a bit of anime and discuss our stories. Hehehe. w00t! Oh, and of course, we got to listen to some j-rock on my uncle's speakers. OMG, they're AWESOME. They're 30 year old speakers, but they far surpass any modern ones I've heard. The sound is amazing on them! Soooo we listened to Toguro (Gazette), Cassis (Gazette), One Winged Angel, Crucify my Love (X), and Forever Love (X)...

Meh, on the down side, I got in a car accident. My poor Golden Snitch got it's hood and front ALL messed up. At least it still runs. But they might total it anyway. I'm really sad though; I don't have my car anymore! And I don't know when I'm going to get it back, either. It was my little Golden Snitch!! ::cries:: At least I didn't hurt the other guy's truck. It only popped the rubber off the bumper a bit. And he wasn't hurt, sooo that's good. I messed up my shoulder and neck just a bit, but the chiropractor fixed it, I think.

Hmm, it seems I'm going to see a doctor of some sort at least once a week. Chiropractor, eye doctors... I have to go see Katsuko sensei, too, once a week. Of course, that's not her name, but it's fitting.
Perhaps I'll write more about that, maybe not. I'd like to get some stuff out, but... meh, either way, everything'll be fine, though!

So much for the updating regularly idea I had... grr.

Work is going okay. The holiday was a bit crazy. Thank goodness I didn't have to work two days of it! Everyone was so rude on the 4th, tho... kinda sad, really. But today was better, minus the computers crashing. Everyone was really nice tho. ^^

Hmm, went to see the Lakehouse on Saturday with the neighbors. (I was left alone for a week. Fun!) That was actually a very thought-provoking movie. Don't entirely get it, but that's what's good about it! Makes you wonder what the mind of the movie's writer was like... Also went to see Cars on Monday with a friend from work. That was fun. It's a very cute movie, and the end was hilarious. Not bloopers but close to it. ^^ I was really surprised at the quality and detail in the graphics, too.

Oh! And I rented Orphen. Hehehe... I took a bunch of screencaps, so it's definitely time to start making some new wallpapers. ^____^ Watched the Japanese version first because I had some issues with the English voice actors... but I watched it in English to make the screencaps. They changed the script a bit, but it's HILLARIOUS! Good stuff. I wanna see the rest, but the movie place doesn't have any more eps... T_T

And that's about it. Going to a wedding this weekend for one of my friends... have NO idea what to get for the wedding gift. oops... ah well, it'll all work out!

Oh, and I've added a fanart. Not the best, but... meh. Fun sketches anyway. ^_^

Hmm...
Well... ::looks at last post:: It's been a while, ne? I really am alive. ^_~ A friend recently urged me to post something, soooo...

First, I will apologize for not posting in SO long. I thought summer would free up some time, but apparently not. Lots has been going on. Here's a recap:
Finished 1st year of college!!!!; moved home for about 2 weeks; moved to the Springs to live with family and find a job; now working at a train station, working too much and having lots of fun; parents are moving, so I have no permanent home anymore... ::sigh:: And currently, I'm *trying* to work on a story and draw for it and my friend's story, but that's not working too well. ^^ Meh, 5475uk1 will bug me enough to write and draw that it'll eventually happen. She's sent me so much of her story, I need to catch up a bit and send her mine. ^_~ I'll post some stuff when I do get some good drawings done. As of now, I have one pic of my main chara, Tristan, in my fanart page. But that's it for now.

I've been becoming more and more impatient for NDK, especially since I ended up not being able to go to Anime-Expo. Waaaa! I wanted to see CLAMP, but I definitely didn't have enough money... ::cries:: Sooo, I'm focusing all my energy on NDK, and will probably end up making 3 costumes for it. I'm considering making mine and my two friend's costumes so we can all cosplay Loveless. ^______^ Hehehehe.

Well, I will definitely try to visit everyone to say hi again. ^^ I miss you all!

Hmm, sorry for never updating about E-days. I'll just give a quick little recap here. It was thoroughly awesome. The ONE weekend where Mines is the place to be. We had a Hawaiian theme "Maui Wow-E-days, Mines is a beach." Fun stuff. The ore cart pull was fun, but very very cold as it was snowing and raining and the wind was blowing. But we still got to hog a lane of Colfax all the way into Denver. ^___^
A friend came down to visit from CSU, so that was great! We all went to the fireworks on Friday. Hehehehehe. Fireworks at Mines are pretty interesting, for sure. An air show and a ground show with dynamite. That's always fun. ^_~ The idea is to make the fireworks as loud as possible. Accomplished, even though a crazy guy got injured trying to set them off. I guess the fuses didn't work, so he had to go out and set them off with a road flare... yeah.
Then there was the Everclear concert. They shouldn't allow short people into concerts for their own safety... I nearly got crushed!! Got too many "You're too little to be here" comments... grr. Not used to the really crazy-type concerts-- I like my Christian rock ones better... ^^'
Saturday was the cardboard boat race. People can actually research and build a cardboard boat for credit in our Sophomore design class here, btw. Crazy people--the water was freezing!! After the race, there were just some other small events. Overall, a great weekend!

Hmm, last week was overwhelming. Welcome back, I guess. 2 tests, a major paper and registration for next year. Joy. I do get to start taking classes for my major, though! Yay! ^^

What else, this weekend is S.O. Being an incredible idiot, I decided to help out with some events. At least I only have B teams. That should be good. Stay far away from the C teams. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE S.O.! It's amazing, and I wish I could have continued in high school. There's just a certain person I shouldn't see for my mental health... and maybe his physical health. (I'm really not violent... just get violent thoughts every once in a while.) ::sigh:: It should be an interesting weekend, to say the least.

Sooo, that wasn't so short of a recap, ne... ^^' I guess I just don't want to do homework. We only have a couple of weeks left, however, we have at least 1 test a week for the rest of the school year. Noooooo! I'm already fried. Yet another reason I haven't been visiting much. Maybe this summer...? Please forgive me!! ::bows::

   E-DAYS!!
E-days officially starts today! YAY!!!!! Ok, E-days is short for engineering-days. It's a huge celebration of everything Mines and Engineering related. (Am I a geek or what? ^_~) We even get school off tomorrow to celebrate.

The Society of Explosives Engineers is kicking off the celebration with a huge fireworks show tonight at 9. Then there are a bunch of games and races and such tomorrow and Saturday. There's even a concert. First thing in the morning tomorrow is the ore cart pull from Mines to the capitol building in Denver. ^^ Should be fun. I'll let you know later how everything went, k?

What would Mines be w/o giving us a whole bunch of homework over E-days? Soooo, I must try to finish it now so Sunday's not so busy.

Hmm, spring break is coming to a close. Tomorrow, Hokuto and I are going to see the president of Production IG in Boulder. He's here giving talks about Japan and anime in Japan and whatnot. Should be a good time. ^^
But I DON'T WANNA GO BACK!! Waaaaa. I kinda made some bad time judgments, so I have too much homework to do and not enough time to finish it before Mon. ::cries:: But it's my fault. (Honestly, tho, isn't spring break supposed to be a "break"??)

Hehe, first I must talk about the concert last week. ^_______^ It was amazing. Loved it so much. My mom, aunt, and I all went. We went shopping first, but didn't really find much. I didn't particularly like the mall we went to--kinda scary. But we went to the World Arena a little after 4. There was a HUGE line already, so my mom and aunt dropped me off to stand while they parked. good thing, too, because, by the time they got back, the line had doubled at least. The World Arena was definitely sold out, so there were over 8500 people there. There were 6 bands there, with about 4 hours of music. ^^ Krystal Meyers, Hawk Nelson, ZOEgirl, NewSong, TobyMac and the Newsboys! I was particularly excited to see TobyMac and the **NEWSBOYS**! It was the first time my mom had seen the Newsboys, so that was pretty cool for her. ^^ Hehe, they sang He Reigns, Breakfast, Entertaining Angels, Shine (of course), and Free. ^___^ Fun fun. TobyMac sang my theme song as of the last couple months--Gone. I was excited and sang along rather loudly. Kinda feel sorry for anyone if they could hear me. ^^' Hmm, bought some fun band stuff, too,even tho it's overpriced. I got a shirt, hat, and some buttons. ^^ Fun stuff.

Coming back to school kinda sucked, though, after having so much fun at the concert. T_T Oh, well.

Sometime recently (I lose track of days and weeks in college...) I got one of the two X artbooks I ordered. Finally! It's odd for AnimeNation to take so long... But anyway, I got the Infinity book. SOOOO pretty!! ::drools a lot:: It has most of my favorite pics that I've seen online, plus a whole bunch more that I've never seen before. They're gorgeous! A couple gave me art project ideas. If only I had the time to draw... T_T Ah, but spring break (aka study break) is coming up. Perhaps I could take some time from studying and draw a bit? The Zero art book was shipped last week, so I should be getting it soon. ::grins::

Other stuff... hmm... Oh! I got Howl's Moving Castle on Friday! Very very good movie. One of my favorites of Miyazaki. ^__^ Borders also had Shadow of the Giant--a book by Orson Scott Card, my favorite author. I've been waiting for that book to come out in paperback for a year. ^^

Well, I should get going. I think I've written enough for today. ^_~ Besides, I should study for my oral Japanese test tomorrow... Have a good one!

Randomness
The time of tests is almost over. Yay! Just calc II tomorrow. Gotta study a lot tonight. And teach myself integration again. Can't believe I forgot it... BUT, afterward, hopefully I'll get to rest a bit. ^^

Ooh, last Thurs, a friend and I watched Escaflowne after the chem test. It was quite fun. ^_^ Nice and relaxing.

Hmm, what else, what else? I got the Loveless manga! YAAAAAAYYYY! ^^ Been waiting for it to be released for a while now. Borders is ordering the DVD for me too. Odd that I want everything having to do with that series, even though I already have the fansubs. I do that with X, too. Hehe, speaking of X, I'm getting Zero and Infinity artbooks soon too! Oi, I'm gonna jump up and down when they get here, I'm sure... ^_~' Oh, and I think I'm going to go and buy Glass Wings also. Gothic shoujo... sounds really sad but good. ^^ Okay, done with my anime randomness.

Sooo... ::points at avi:: There's my new avi until I have time to draw a new one. I cut all my hair off! From almost Duo-length braid to that. ^^ Hehe, that pic was my poor attempt at "cosplaying" (or just dressing) like Aoi from Gazette. This is sorta what I was going for... Didn't work at all, but it was still fun!
