Kurisumasu
Yay! Toki na Kurisumasu minna-san! I think that's right, anyway. If not, gomen! Anyway, Christmas was fun! Didn't really do much, but that's OK. I actually got Fruits Basket for Christmas!! How cool, ne? When I went to the con in Denver, my mom and I watched it. She even liked it! Go Mom!
Let's see, we ate pozole for dinner. Yummm! And we had home-made tortillas! I rolled them out. Some were actually round! Can you believe it?
I found a post card of "Christmas Tree Mountain" to send my pen-pal in Japan! I was so happy I wasn't imagining things. I knew I had seen a post card of it, but we went all over searching for one! (OK, explanation!: Christmas Tree Mountain is a decorated mountain down town. The town I go to school in is kind of at the bottom of the mountain. People decorate the mountain to look like a giant Christmas tree, ornaments and everything. There is even a star at the top. Then, it is lit on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Interesting, ne?)
That's it for now, I guess. Just thought I'd let you know I am actually still here. I haven't gone crazy because of school yet...
