“Dot, Dot, Dot, Dash” is Morse code for the letter “v.” While Sara got that part of the reference correctly, she did not understand the full meaning behind it. During World War 2 the letter “v” was synonymous with victory over the Axis powers. In a lot of World War 2 cartoons at the time, and other propaganda films you’ll see the letter “v” pop up pretty often; usually in the form of Morse code. I just found a nice collection of World War 2 cartoons online, so that’s where this reference came from.

However, Sara did not guess the reference in a satisfactory way, so she does not earn a point. The scoreboard remains unchanged.
