Speak Like a Child
Manic guessed the last reference correctly, and so he earns himself the first point for the scoreboard. Alicia Masters is indeed a character from the Fantastic Four, and will be appearing in the big screen adaptation of the film due in theaters in July. You must see this film, YOU MUST, I demand it!

Nothing especially important to note here. Although a lack of labels in a relationship can be a blessing (as outlined in my last post) it can also be a curse. You aren’t really cheating on someone if it’s not an official relationship, is it? I don’t know. I’m a bad person, but the entire situation is over and done with so that’s good. I learned my lesson and got my guy back, I think, so hooray for me.
However, I must say what a terrible Valentine’s Day it was having him be upset with me and all. I’m generally eager to please him, and the idea of one of him being downright upset with me is terrifying. All of that nonsense about making the people you care about realize it is completely true, too. Go do that now, and don’t bother with the rest of this post. It’s just links and me complaining about a lack of posts in ‘hero’ and other projects.
It just frustrates me, yo. ‘hero’ builds up such a momentum with its awesome posts, and then seemingly dies for a month at a time. It has been over a month since the last post, so I’m thoroughly annoyed once more. I’m probably going to be sending out PMs to the active players, seeing if they would like to re-launch this in the Anthology forum with a smaller, more focused cast of characters. Maybe we’ll be able to do something innovative with it, too, so who knows?
Lore needs to get her ‘Vignette’ post in, too. One can’t rush quality, though…
Speaking of quality (or not, depending on your view) I started writing a short story of sorts with ‘Coma [PG-L].’ It’s a very eclectic tale, and one that I’ve enjoyed writing so far. The people seem to enjoy it, too, although you can never be too sure about criticism in that forum. I’ve seen certain members give very… generous feedback to some lousy pieces of work.
And everyone had better sign up for ‘Beatlemania: Redux [PG-LV]’ because it’s the weirdest RPG concept I’ve ever seen. I’d like to see more members put up these kinds of creative projects, as opposed to boring RPGs that ‘fit the mold,’ so to speak. And nothing is cooler than time travel, right?
PS: Special thanks to Miss Arcadia for sending me a delightful Valentine in the mail. It really cheered me up yesterday, given the stress of having potentially ruined an unofficial relationship. Did that make any sense? Good, because I’m just as lost as you are.
