Sorry about the sporadic site visitations. I just returned from the hospital, after having been transported via ambulance. I had a really painful attack--I thought maybe appendicitis, or something. Turns out I have gallbladder disease.
Gallbladder disease. Sounds horrific, doesn't it? DISEASE--like you have less than six months to live. But no worries, it just means that I have stones in my gallbladder, and that the damned organ needs to be removed. You can LIVE without a gallbladder, you know.
Christ, another organ removed.
Well, I DID pout quite a bit when I heard the diagnosis. I ran home and told my friend..."I have a fat, old man's disease."
"It's not a fat, old man's disease, cori. They say the factors are, 'fair, fat, and forty'. You're not fat, you're not over forty, but...well, you are very fair, babe. You come from that Irish stock, whitey, my friend."
He's right. I looked it up.
My mother had a fit. "It's cuz you eat nothing but CRAP!!!"
Yes, that's true. But why does the healthy stuff have to be so DAMN EXPENSIVE???? Crap is cheap. I have no money. See the equation working itself out in my white-trash brain?
ANd now I have to spend money on shit like deductibles and co-insurance. God, the irony.
Anyway, I WILL try to get to sites today. I'm a-gonna start out with the ones that I've been neglecting the most...but I might not might make all my rounds. I have a LOT of crap to do tonight...like spending some needed time with the kiddies.

Well, that one’s a big WTF—but appreciated, nevertheless!
Ah, I fear that I will be phasing my art out of the otaku, however…’da sikaurai has been leaning toward mature themes, lately, and she needs to keep it pretty PG on theO! Oh, well… she is always around.

HELLO, MY LOVELIES!!! ‘da sikaurai has returned after a short bout with some kind of flu-like illness. . . or food poisoning. . . or something. I’ve been pretty much bedridden the last couple days. I don’t expect to get too many visitors, this time around. . . as ‘da sikaurai has kind of been missing-in-action for awhile.
At any rate, I’ve had time to do some piccies—I have THREE up. . . so feel free to vote and/or comment!

Oh, by the way. . . Bio2Hazardous. . . yeah. To answer that question, I’ve gotten the framework done. Need to fine-tune the details. Yeah.

Oh. And Hmmm. YAAAAYYYYY!!! I received word via Instant Messenger that my absolute best friend—next to Frogking, of course—is coming to visit me in February!!!! YAY!!! My friend Scott is oh-so-charming and thoughtful as hell! He’ll be visiting briefly on his way to Denver. I miss him, so, I do.
AND DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!!! TheO put up two of m’pics, but not my favorite one. THEY HATE MEEEEEEE!!! (I’ll try again, later)
But in the interim, I shall slink back to deviantART, and work on my Sascha/Kimi lovescene for literary submission. . . don't get too excited--chances are, you won't be able to read it. It'll be filtered for MATURE CONTENT, heh.

HOW WAS EVERYONE'S THANKSGIVING?? Mine was awful--the kids got sick, and threw up everywhere. And of course, I had to work that night. . . when I arrived there, I discovered that all my wards had been given suppositories.
Needless to say, it wasn't a fun night.
I'm so sick of bodily fluids.
So 'da sikaurai hasn't been home in three days. . . so she just now checked her PM box--JEEZ, YOU GUYS!!! A girl ducks out for a couple days. . . and this is what she gets?
JUSTIN--dude, gimme a break. That's all I'm gonna say. I'll call you, later. When I get home. I can't call long-distance from my mother's, and I left my phone card at home.
So I won't be able to visit sites, and I apologize. Been thinking about everyone, though, and when I get home again, I'll do the rounds, like always. AND I think I'll put up my "violent fantasies" pic, too--on deviantART--but I have to color it in, first, heh.
Well, I have to get ready for work, again. . .oh, yeah, Ouroboros78--I DO work nights, just like your mom did. AND IT's KICKING MY ASS. But in a couple days, I'll have another night off, and I'm already looking forward to it. Hopefully, by then, I'll be able to post all the piccies that I've been working on since then.
Guh! Right around tomorrow, everyone’s planning on enjoying a little vacation time—some time away from the trials of the hectic school schedule, and maybe looking forward to time away from work. Well, crappy—‘da sikaurai has to work the holiday.
Actually, she has hellish alternate weeks. I just had the last five days off, but I’m gonna be compensating for that by working ten hour shifts for the next eight days. Sucky. Oh, well. Anyway, I got new art up. And right now, I’m working on a fabulous Akiramaru pic. . . so when it goes up, please give him some love.
On my dA account, I posted a rip-off of a questionnaire from another deviant’s journal. SIX THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF. I detected a small challenge to come forth and make attrition in that person’s last entry. So I did. Amazing what malaise will do to a person. It brings out the honesty in a soul. Or the bitterness.
My response was:
“. . . I torture myself with the downward spiral of self-doubt. I think that everybody secretly despises me. I wonder if I'm obeying all protocol of social ettiquette. . . and then tell myself that I'm not supposed to care. And then, when I have myself convinced, I wonder if that makes me a poser. And then wondering if I'm a poser makes me wonder if I wonder too much, and then I start obsessing about obsessing. . .”
And then I post my inner-most thoughts on the internet for everyone to see. . .( BUT ironically, I could never come out and tell the sperm donor that it bothered me that he didn’t put the toilet seat down.)
He called a couple days ago. I think that’s why I’m in such a bad mood. I really despise him. And so does my sketch pad. We collaborated together last night. . . and produced some really violent fantasies. I don’t think I’ll be posting them on theO, though. (Maybe dA, heh heh.)
*yawns* At any rate, I’m realizing that this post is incredibly self-serving. So I’m gonna go slink away and work on that ‘Maru pic. . . I think I’ll put Sascha in it, too. Yeah. Well, today, I have my medications class. Wish me luck, everyone.

Yay! ‘da sikaurai acquired a snazzy new button. It’s meh new link to m’deviantART account, all compliments of Yensid and Bunraku—thank you for your patience and consideration!

Anyway, the dA account is where ‘da sikaurai keeps the loverly chapters of her book(s) nestled away. . . her books(s) are tentatively entitled “War of the Realms”, and is currently over 800 pages in progress. So far, I only have 11 installments loaded to m’site, however; I’m kinda testing the waters of marketability before I post any more. I also have some smutty short stories featuring Sascha *listens for the sound of stampeding feet to dA*. . . by request of Yaoikiss101 *laughs and points*—and two other people from back home, who wish to remain anonymous. Yeahhhhhh, I got paid for those. Perverts.
At any rate, I’d like to post a small clip from an installment entitled “Humiliation”—part of my second book. This is from a scene when Sascha is being forced into committing a desparate act for the sake of his people. As a result of the misfortune of being captured while trying to rescue Kimi, he endures psychological torture at the hands of the antagonist, Akiramaru. Sascha the warrior priest is coerced into choosing between saving the lives of his people, or protecting his newfound love, the mortal girl, Kimihana:
. . . Sascha stared incredulously back at him. “Why are you doing this? Why would you waste your energies on such a frivolous act of vengeance?”
Akiramaru smiled pleasantly, and his eyes sparkled with deceiving good humor. “Because Sascha-boy, the self-righteous dogma of your Osabian code has worn on my last nerve. Because your apparent resilience in the face of your exile has only succeeded in annoying me. And because your insistence on black-and-white virtues in a corrupt world only makes me believe that you need to be taught a lesson in humility. And so, Sascha-boy, as only a sensei of my caliber could accomplish, I am the one who will do just that. And after all is said and done, you will see the error of your ways. And you will atone for your sins.”. . .
Baby, I need to atone for MY sins. . .

Aren’t they so friggin’ CUTE? It’s the only thing keeping them alive, the little beasts, haha. Autumn was mad at me for taking her colored pencils away, today, so she decided to draw on the wall. Took me about twenty minutes to scrub clean. Oh, well.
AKIRAMARU!!! My beloved antagonist, my sexy incubus. . . the god of Desire and all that is lust and smex. . . I love him so.
And he gets tossed to the wind by the masses that so blatantly prefer Sascha.

THANK YOU, EVERYBODY FOR PUTTING ME ON THE FEATURED FAN-ART SECTION TWO STRAIGHT DAYS IN A ROW. “Playful Interlude” and “A Wolf Is a Wolf” both made it to the top. Then came “Beautiful Demon”, which I thought was my absolute finest work. . . *sob*. . .

Someone once said to me that being an artist is to doom oneself to anonymity. . . (‘kay, I’m paraphrasing, here) That’s very true. ‘da sikaurai doesn’t care so much about recognition for her work, but she ADORES her creations. She wants to share them with everybody.
Sikaurai: *pets her incubus* S’kay. We shall try again. I shall show everyone how smexy you are.
Akiramaru: *heavy sigh* Leave me be. I have more important things to concern myself with than your childish games.
Sikaurai: *pouts*
Dante: What you said yesterday is true, love –you’re a one-trick pony. The Sascha fan-girls adore the rabid beast and his clumsy social graces. That animal has fewer social skills than even YOU.
Sikaurai: Ouch
Akiramaru: *bored tone* What does it matter? He gets all the love, anyway.
Dante: *groans* I see Ebony did another rendition of Sascha.
Sascha: *triumphantly* Ha, ha, bitches.
Anyway, ‘da sikaurai still has some art-gifts to plug out: one for humanwolf and one for Queen Serena. . . and of course, one personal challenge tossed into the air by Cosmic Sailor. So at this time, I am no longer taking requests or trades. . . until I get those finished.

The bars are a cool place for her, because she comes prepared. She fully expects to get hit on, so she arrives with her guard up and ready to lay things on the line if the scene gets too heavy. But Christ. . . McDonalds’. . . is that the newest trend in pick-up joints?
I remember one time, not too long ago, two teen-age boys propositioned me while I was enjoying a quiet lunch alone. I use the term “enjoy” loosely, mind you—McDonald’s food is quick, but it ain’t great. And just the other day. . . damn. Some older dude asked me for my phone number while I was waiting for my food. I was so baffled that I actually gave it to him.
I’m usually pretty sharp. I love comebacks. I live for the one-liners. But damn, sometimes, if I’m not expecting anything to go awry, all I can manage is a baffled look on my face. I’m remembering a time when some boy came up to me in a diner and asked me if I wanted to kiss his hand. DAMN! And oddly enough, I just did it, too. And ran away with a total WTF??? look on my face. My friend Julie, who is in her late 20’s, still insists TO THIS DAY that he put some odd love spell on me. She knows him from a former life. . . and he was famous for pulling off stuff like that.
(Damned self-proclaimed warlocks. Weirdos is what they are.)
Men kinda scare ‘da sikaurai. You wouldn’t know that by looking at her art, heh. But then again, Sascha and I have had time to develop a rapport. We understand each other. Relationships confusticate me, but Sascha and I have a purely physical thing going on. And actually, I’m cheating on him, right now. With Dante.
*pets him*
Dante: *horrified* No, you’re not, you cheap hag! Dream all you want; you’re not my type. GET off of me!
Sikaurai: Why do you insist on being like that? After everything I’ve done for you?
Dante: But the point is, love—what have you done for me, LATELY? You’ve made Sascha famous. . . what about ME? I’m ten times better, cooler, and hipper than that crazy animal.
Sikaurai: I’m working on it! You have to give me more time! I love you!
Dante: Stow it, you used-up hack. And what’s with the purple hair? You look like some slutty biker skank. I wouldn’t touch you with a ten-foot pole. You have even worse fashion sense than that demon bitch, Raeven. Except you’re probably ten times more dangerous—you pretending to be so nice, and all. Well, I’m not fooled, and neither is anyone else.
Sikaurai: Why are you being so mean to me? I don’t pretend ANYTHING. I’ve only ever adored you; you’re such a snot.
Dante: I’m bored with this conversation. Where’s Kimi? I need some stimulation.
Sikaurai: Fine. I’ll go to Akiramaru. At least he talks to me.
