MUSIC REVIEW!
'da sikaurai is a music freak, yup yup! Her latest obsession is. . . is. . . can you figure it out? Could it be. . . L'Spaerow?
(?????)
Why, you ask? Or maybe you're not asking. Maybe you don't care. But in a wild fit of reckless enthusiasm, 'da sikaurai will tell you anyway.

Their music is dark and brooding, but not in a goth way, really. Their songs verge upon a syncopantic melody, thoughtful and profound. The lead has a vocal style that echoes against a backdrop of tripping, ethereal riffs, floating on a haze of mournful audio imagery.

The track most overplayed on 'da sikaurai's vast library is their song "the Pharmacist". . . she couldn't locate the lyrics for the entire song, but she did manage to interpret the chorus. . .

The pharmacist will hit on you
When you are seen to fill out your prescription
To deal with your addictions. . .
Wide eyes look at you and say
There’s one I'd like to know
There’s one to keep my children from
There’s one that’s black and blue and tattooed for you.
How beautiful I would have been
If only I had slept in
If only I had stayed thin
How beautiful I would be
If I could just be me.
If I could just know me.

I was recently clued in as to what EMO meant. This music is not EMO. It's just plain beautiful.

By the way, 'da sikaurai is feeling pretty silly. She has decided that she will take on the role of being Pandora.com's little promoting side-kick. For every comment that she leaves, she's gonna leave a signature listing the track and the name of its artist that she's listening to at the time. . .

So, erm. . . Justin recently posted a question on his site that 'da sikaurai would like to dig up once again for an encore. . .what's everybody's fave kind of music? AND WHY? Don't just say "cuz it's cool!" Embellish! Details! Feel 'da love, dammit!

Everybody have a good day!
