Questions and Answers
A lot of people on my last post asked me why I would want to straighten my hair. Because it's curly, dang it all! lol, I just don't like it. I can't leave it down because it's so big. Curly AND thick hair just doesn't look good. I guess we all just want what we don't have. I mean, Mom says people would die for my hair, but I'm like, why? Who wants a rat's nest for hair? It's so unmanagable!! But I guess that's just how it is: straight hair wants curly; I want straight.
My parents went to Lake Powell for the week and my Gramma's over to watch us. That way (since I'm only 15) we'll be able to actually go places. I'm not yet old enough to drive, you know. But it'll be fun, Gramma loves to spoil me and my siblings.
I already have a new wallpaper (this one I made) that I want to decorate my site with, but I'll fight the tempation for as long as I can, seeing as I just barely changed my site to this Ed one.

Be Proud of Me!!
I totally excersized (is that how you even spell it? *shrug*) for a half hour yesterday and a half hour today!! Now, to a lot of you that might not sound like a lot...but man, I felt like I was dying but I held on to the image of having a boyfriend and fitting into really cute clothes and it got me through!!
I'm seriously one of the laziest people you will find...so to me this means a lot. I want to get rid of the puppy fat on my stomach before school starts again, and I started late, but hopefully I'll be able to see a difference when school starts. I'm almost to the point where I can't fit in juniors anymore, which for my age, is depressing.
I also almost have enough money to get my hair chemically straightened!! I didn't think I'd have enough before school either but then my cousin called me to babysit a few times and the money adds up! ^_^ When I go to highschool, all those people won't know what happened to Miss Silove, no sir!!
I don't usually care this much about how I look, but I've decided that I could do with a little more grooming, as in like not just putting my hair in a ponytail every day and eating a little less and stuff like that.
So be proud!! I am making a change for the better!

College...bleh
Ok, well, first off, I decided that I'm done waiting for some class or something to start learning Japanese. I don't know how effective it'll be, but I've been making flash cards with Japanese greetings and the colors and stuff to help me learn. At least I can feel like I'm doing something for the time being.
Which brings me to the point that I guess Weber State University teaches Japanese, so I don't have to wait forever to learn it like in a program or class or whatever, but I do have to wait three years. :P I'm just barely getting into highschool as a sophmore, so I have a ways to go.
From what my parents have told me, college sounds really hard. >.> I'm a little worried, but that's ok. To those who've been to college, please don't think less of me for my ignorance, but I guess that you spend like all your free time studying? I've like...never studied in my life. I've never had to. So that'll be something hard to get used to. And then there's the whole credit hour classes that just makes my head spin.
But it can't terribly hard or else there wouldn't be so many people out there with degrees and stuff. I want to get at least a batchelor's degree...in computers or something, and a minor in English.
Sorry for the rambling...it's just I've been kind of thinking about my future a lot lately, like how if I ever want to prove my family wrong and go to Japan, then I'm going to have to have a good job...meaning more school. Thanx for listening.

Sorry
I've really been thinking and I just barely realized how little I visit everyone else's sites!! So I'll try really hard to visit all your sites (well, if you've updated today, anyways) and I'll try to do better in the future. I know I would never want to visit someone who never replied back, so I'm making a special effort!!
I went to Kyo Krazy's house yesterday...It's been like the whole month since I saw her last-I was so glad to see her again.
I stayed over there for a long time. It was so fun, we listened to music and she gave me my yearbook. I missed the last day of school when I went to Hawaii so she took my yearbook around and got it signed for me. ^^ See how nice she is? Then I "helped" her clean her room, and we just talked and talked. Somehow we got on to the memories of our first impression of each other and our friends. That was a blast; I remember thinking one friend, Mijitsu, was kind of a nerd. Naxir was just fun. KK was crazy and loud-still is.
I guess that's all! ^_^

So?
Do you like the new theme? I know, I know, I change it around a lot, but I saw this wallpaper and I just had to use it!! ^^ I love the effect it has.
Not much new here...went to the library today and read...I can't remember the japanese name-too lazy to look it up now-but in English I think it's call "His and Her Circumstances"? Well, it's pretty cute, it actually reminds me a little of Furuba with its really detailed feelings of the characters towards one another.
And I have a friend who just barely joined myotaku, so do you think you could go visit her? Her username is Naxir and she's really nice!!
I was very bored today and kind of found myself wondering how loud you could get your sterio to vibrate through a japanese house, you know, with their rice paper walls and stuff? And how often some people might stumble and totally crash through them? ^^ I don't know, I just kind of found that amusing.
I guess that's all, I'll see you all later! ^_^

New Anime
Well, today I went to a store called F.Y.E. which stands for "For your entertainment". It's the store that replaced my beloved Media Play *sniffle* but was glad to see they had anime there.
I was browsing the used anime section when I came across Descendants of Darkness, and it was only $6!! So of course I had to buy, because this anime had caught my attention before. Well, I LOVE it!! Absolutely and positively love it!! Has anyone else seen it? I mean, in the 3 episodes I have, I'm totally captivated by it! ^____^ man, life is good.
Not much more to say, so I guess I'll see you guys around later!

I'm back!!
I got back from Hawaii!! And it was so fun! ^.^ Here, let me tell ya all about it!
Friday: nothing really happened. We traveled all day and finally reached Hawaii, but it was dark, so I really couldn't see the island (we went to Owahu).
Saturday: we went to the beach! It was great, we went boogy boarding and made sand castles and kinda just went crazy. The water is surprisingly warm. But I only put on 15 spf sun screen, and since we're closer to the equator than ever before, I burned. BAD. I looked like a strawberry or something, and I couldn't move without hurting myself. But overall, it was great!! ^^
Sunday: we went to Punch Bowl, where there's this military cemetary. It was really cool, and it was beautiful. Then we went to church and just kind of hung out the rest of the day.
Monday and Tuesday: we spent both days going to the Polenesian Culture Center, where they have fun things like boat tours and lessons on making a fire and alot of shirtless guys running amonk. ^_~ We had a luou(sp?) and that was good and we also went to the night show. That's where you get to see different dances from different islands. And there was someone from Samoa who danced with and ate fire!!
Wenseday: We went to the swap meet, which is a flea market. I had tons of fun shopping here. I bought 2 japanese shirts, 2 wall scrolls, necklaces for my friends, and other stuff. Then we went over to Pearl Harbor and saw the Arizona, one of the battleships.
Thursday: We went to the Sea Life Park and that was cool. but the very best part...I GOT TO SWIM WITH A DOLPHIN!! ^.^ Oh, and it was so fun, too!! I love those cute dolphins! But that just made my day, as you can imagine, and I bought some cute earings.
Friday: Snorkling is what we did. You get goggles, a little breathing tube, and swimming flippers and go out to the beach and look at the coral reefs! I saw tons of little fish. I even caught a glimpse of this wierd, trout-looking one that was orange and green and blue. I saw a crab and a baby eel (I think) too!
Saturday: went to the swap meet again, since we didn't see the whole place last time.
Sunday: went to church, had yummy dinner; we just sort of spent the time with the family that lives out there. That was nice just sitting around with them.
It was fun, but I'm glad I'm back; I'm tired. So how have all of you been while I was away?

Phew!
It seems like it's been for so long since I've updated!! I've been caught up in term projects, extra credit projects, and other school stuff. But there's only a week left, thank goodness!!
We have no school Monday, and Thursday we go to an amusement park the whole day. I miss Friday, which is the last day, so that I can make my way over to Hawaii!! ^____^ I'm so excited!
My friend also said she's making me a kimono for my birthday (which was actually in April)! I'm so happy! I think it'll be wonderful!
Oh, and you know that Yuki fanart I've been doing? Well, I used it for my term project in geography, because this term we were studying Asia. When my teacher looked at it, he told me I could have a future in anime if I wanted to. You would never imagine how happy that made me.
My music hasn't been working, so I'll try to fix that. ^^
[edit] Guys, my new Furuba quiz is up! ^.^ I'm soooo excited!!

Ahhh....-_-
I made a lovely avi of Yuki, but for some strange reason, any JPG avitar I try to upload goes to my old one...so I don't know what's wrong with it.
I've been in a Harry Potter mood lately. I'm obsessed with finding out what happens in the 7th book before everyone else.
And I finally colored most of my Yuki fanart. Now I just need to decide how I want the background, and it will be finished!!
Speaking of artwork, there's a lady at my church who uses acrylics, and she said she'd help me learn how to use them!! ^^ I'm so excited, because I already sketched on my canvas what I want to paint, but I've been too afraid to start painting. Here, let me put up the picture that I used as a reference. Just click here to see!
And I also submitted a quiz, so I hope that comes up. Yep, it's another Fruits Basket one.

Not much to say...
Well, just dropping in to say hi, since I really don't have much to report on...well, let's see if I can come up with something.
I stumbled across an online music store that sold their songs for 10 cents each and a dollar for a whole album. I just stared at the screen and then suddenly started typing in anime soundtrack names. Well, later, before buying anything or registering, I find out that that site might be illegal in the US. You see, it's a Russian site, and in Russia, it's crazy to buy a single song for a dollar because that's how much their albums are, so that's why it was so cheap. So I was a little dissapointed (ok, a lot) when I found out it could be illegal. So I'm hoping maybe I'll see more news on their site in the paper or something telling me if it's for sure illegal or legal...I don't know.
I've read the 2nd volume of Peace Maker Kurogane (the library never has the 1st volume there) and I really like it, though I'm a bit confused (that's understandable). But man, I really like it. This man named Suzu, for instance seems pretty hot...though a little...well, crazy. And I found an AMV of it and it looks awesome, so I plan to get into this anime.
Has anyone noticed my little saying at the top of my site? I like it, it says, "creativity is the sudden cessation of stupidity" and I just that it was funny, but it's kind of also true. Like, half the stuff I use in my fanfictions and stuff first comes from little stupid stories my friends and I made up. ^_~
