FIREWORKS!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Last night over the Ohio river one of the biggest fireworks shows of the nation took place. The WEBN (Hard rock radio) fireworks take place in between two bridges, on the Ohio river near Cincinnati. Huge barges filled with a few tons of pyrotechnics come in to fire off the coolness. Over a million people were there to watch the fireworks in person. The guys at the SSF found a cool riverboat to hijack (not really) and set up camp until the big bang. We interviewed people and when the time came, recorded most of the show. We're trying to get the video posted on one of our other sites, if we do, we'll update ya.

It started with a sign lighting up that said WEBN and Toyota right below. Then fireworks shot up that said W-E-B-N. From there it was like a thirty minute grand finale, no joke. The rigged up the bridges so fireworks not only shot off them, but also poured down into the river looking similar to a waterfall.

Another cool thing was that it was synchronized with the radio stations music. When NIN's 'With Teeth' came on it was perfectly done. When the song mentioned a heart a heart shaped firework shot up. The booms were almost perfectly synchronized with the drums.

When the played iron man the booms were so loud it actually popped both my ears! You can't beat fireworks when the ashes are actually falling on you.

The picture above was not taken by us, but it's still of the same show. Our pics are still on the camera. We'll try to update and get them on ASAP.

So If you're ever in Cincinnati over labor day weekend, GO TO THE SHOW!
