World News-

Saddam Trial (CBS News)-
Saddam Hussein's lawyer said Wednesday that U.S.-led "occupation forces" bear some of the responsibility for the slaying of a second colleague in the trial, and the defense team signaled it may not show up for the next session without international security guarantees.

Khalil al-Dulaimi, head of Saddam's legal team, spoke one day after Adel al-Zubeidi, lawyer for former Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan died in a hail of gunfire in west Baghdad. Thamir al-Khuzaie, attorney for another co-defendant, Saddam's half brother Barazan Ibrahim, was wounded.

The attack followed the slaying last month of another defense lawyer, Saadoun al-Janabi, whose body was found with gunshot wounds the day after the trial began on Oct. 19. The killings raise doubts about Iraq's ability to try the case, although the Iraqi government dismissed calls to move the venue or halt the trial. The second session is set for Nov. 28-----

And yet, people still take the job. After the first guy was assassinated don't ya think the job might of been a little hard to fill. And now with another guy knocked off there's sure to be someone out there who's willing to get killed *cough* I mean take the job.

Television these days is loaded with sex, sex, sex — double the number of sex scenes aired seven years ago, says a study out Wednesday. And the number of shows that include "safer sex" messages has leveled off, it said

There were nearly 3,800 scenes with sexual content spotted in more than 1,100 shows researchers studied, up from about 1,900 such scenes in 1998, the first year of the Kaiser Family Foundation survey.

Writers and producers are "seeing they can do it in a way that is entertaining, that doesn't cost them anything in the ratings ... and we know from research we've done that it makes a real difference to the kids in the audience," she said-----

Hmmm...interesting indeed. I'd like to point out the last paragraph. When it says 'makes real difference to the kids in the audience' uh ya think? Let's just shove some porn in there faces and see how they react. There's always the bright-side to all this sex on TV it's called 'The Gay test'. Meaning, if your teen gets up to make popcorn in the middle of a heterosexual sex scene, they're probably gay.

Michael Jackson will come back to the United States, but it's unlikely the King of Pop would ever make it his home again, says his father.

"He'll come back to visit, but not to stay, not to live," Joseph Jackson told The Associated Press in a recent interview.

Jackson said his son, who was acquitted in June of child molestation, has received lots of threats in the United States. The superstar now lives in Bahrain and his lawyers have said that he no longer considers his Neverland Ranch in California as his home.

"They didn't treat him right here. I know if I was him, I wouldn't come back," his father said.-----

Yeah umm...he doesn't feel safe and welcome here? It's going to be completely safe because no one cares that he's a child molester there...right? Also that part of the world isn't really where I'd want to be moving right about now.



Seriously, moving to the middle-east!? Ahh, screw it, just remember when your reading the headlines 'Wacko Jacko shot dead while trying to save little boy's life in dark alley'.
