Starfox Chapter 3
Starfox Chapter 3: A little taste of the distasteful fate...

It was getting late in Corneria city so everyone decided to get some sleep hoping Fox will wake up. The next morning General Pepper came in with the first good they heard on Fox condition.

“Good morning Starfox team, I have good news, Fox heartbeat has returned to normal and he’s woke but he went to sleep after the surgery 3 o’clock this morning.” General Pepper said and their faces lit up with joy. “But not to rejoice just yet, they gave me the percentage of his chances of surviving.” He said showing Katt the papers and she was so shocked that she started crying and threw the papers on the floor.

“Katt…what’s wrong?” Sam asked as he picked up the papers that she thrown. He looked at it himself then the rest of them looked and was just as shocked.

“95% is the chance he’ll most likely die and 5% that he’ll survive.” Katt said crying even harder. Star sat by her hugging her saying he’ll still survive. Falco came out of his room hearing Katt cry and he looked at the papers in Sam hands. Sam looked over to Falco and he handed him the papers.

“Here are the results with Fox’s chances of surviving…” Sam said in a low voice as he, Wolf, and Star went out the door to get to school. Falco looked at it and Katt looked at Falco. He took a deep breath and looked at the results:

That’s how he viewed the paper, the results was the only thing that matter…the only thing that really stood out besides all the other jibberish that nurses and doctors wrote on the document. Falco looked at it for awhile and negative ideas started flowing through his mind. He gave the paper back to the general and then he went to his room and shut the door behind him…once again…alone. Meanwhile the other three was in school they weren’t as happy as usual. They sat there, so quiet, not speaking, not really themselves anymore. They came out of school and was about to walk on home until they heard a loud girlish scream. Sam dropped his book bag and ran as fast as he could in that direction; Sam ran as fast as he could as he finally seen her fall from the building. As he finally got close enough to the falling girl, he jumped onto the wall and then jumped off the wall and he finally catches her and lands on top of a car causing a dent.

“A little taste of the distasteful fate…” Sam said as he at looked at her.

Starfox Chapter 2: Dismal state of mind…

As Fox stayed there crying, everyone on the great fox suddenly became worried as to where Fox went, all except Falco, the calm bird in almost every situation.

“Where could he have gone for so long?” Wolf asked and Star looked him.

“You know he wasn’t himself this morning or actually all day…he was so…so sad.” Star said and Sam added in.

“Yeah and so quiet…” Sam added in with Star’s comment.

“And he wasn’t even on the computer or in his room at all for that fact…” Falco added.

“Nor did he eat anything…” Katt said.

“Yeah, he kept saying wasn’t hungry…but he has to be, he’s being saying that for about 11 hours.” Slippy said and Falco looked back with his feet propped up on the table.

“You keep track of how long he’s being saying that?” Falco asked.

“Well you have to take notice of these things with Fox…I mean with him being the leader and everything we have to notice sudden changes like these…” Slippy answered and Falco got up.

“Everybody put on their coats now…” Falco said and everyone looked at him.

“Why may I ask?” Peppy asked.

“Because I know where Fox is…” Falco said as everyone hurried to get there coats and they followed Falco. Falco running at full speed trying to catch up with Fox before he does something wrong or maybe go into a rage. But then they were stopped by someone…

“You just get out of our way, before we go through you!” Falco said in fury.

“Falco Lombardi…” He said calmly. “You don’t know what you’re up against boy…” He said and Falco ran and launched a punch but his hand was caught and he was kicked away with a shadowed kick. Katt looked at Falco lying there on the street.

“That’s it!” Katt shouted and everyone started attacking this fox. Katt launched a punch but he blocked it and threw Katt into Peppy as Sam attempted to punch him but he caught his fist and threw him into Wolf. Star jumped over Wolf and Sam, who were now on the ground, and she launched a kick, but he caught her leg and threw her into Sam’s incoming blast which sent Star into Katt and both of them into a building. Sam launched a fury of punches and kicks at the fox but he knocked each hit away and then knocked Sam away with a hard punch. Wolf ran at the Fox as he dodge the flying Sam and he launched a punch, and he blocked it, but Wolf soon followed in with a kick, but he blocked that hit too and then he blasted Wolf and he flew past Sam who charged up another blast and shot it, but he reflected it and it was heading straight for the weakened Falco who just got up, but someone stepped out in front of Falco. As the blasted connected with whoever it was, he yelled out Falco name and he then immediately knew it was. The blast finally stopped shocking him he fell out and the other fox that reflected it was no where to be seen. Everyone ran over to him and they were shocked to see who it was.

“Fox…” Falco said in the lowest tone anyone ever heard. He went ahead and picked up Fox and they all went back to the great fox. As Fox was sent into emergency, everyone was so quiet, no one was talking, that was until General Pepper came in with some more news, bad news that is.

“I just got word on his condition…” General Pepper said and Falco raised his head up quickly.

“Will he make it?” Falco asked quickly.

“Well…they just told me he might not make it…actually he may never wake up again.” General Pepper said and Falco head went down slowly as he got up and walked into his room shutting the door behind him. Not too long afterwards Star and Wolf got into an argument.

“What I said he’ll make it!” Wolf shouted.

“If you care about Fox so much why don’t you visit him?” Star asked with a frown.

“I told you already I hate seeing people in that condition…geez what is wrong with you?” Wolf asked as he grabbed her arm but she snatched away.

“Nothing is wrong with me; it’s just something wrong with you. Every since you got into an argument with Fox, you’ve never been the same. Also when you tried to prove you could fight better than Fox when we first joined this team and you were humiliated, you’ve never been the same.” Star said. “But after so much he’s done for all of us, you continue to not visit him or give anything back.” Star ended and she stomped outside. In the meantime Sam was lying on the couch and Katt came over to him.

“Sad day huh?” Katt asked and Sam shifted his body and then he turned his head looking at her.

“Yeah…” Sam said.
