Thanks again for the awesome comments! ^o^ You guys really know how to cheer a girl up! *hugs all* Well, Thursday we got registered for school. I didn’t get the chance to talk with Mr. Belson about possibly taking Japanese because he was rather busy, but he was free enough to add photography to my classes. He’s going to see if he can fit in an independent painting class for me next semester since I wouldn’t be able to take the regular class due to several conflicts in my schedule. We’re not going to worry about it that much until we get closer to the second semester, though. So, here’s my schedule for my first semester of school!
1) American Literature
2) Computer Application 3 (Web design)
3) U.S. History
4) Photography
5) P.E.
6) Algebra II
7) Anatomy and Physiology

I’m sort of looking forward to school because I’ll be able to see all my friends I don’t see otherwise. Plus, this is my junior year, so we get to host prom this spring. The only thing bad about that is that I know that Kayla, Yumi and I will be the ones stuck with all the work because we’re “the artsy people”. It’s been like this for every “class project”. For the float and poster for Homecoming last year, we had to beg people to help us on the last two days because nobody did anything until then. *sigh* That’s okay, perhaps we’ll get rewarded for our hard work more-so than the others...And we get Mrs. Harris for a class sponsor! =D She’s our art teacher as well as what Yumi and I call our “At-School Mom.” ^o^

Friday and Saturday were relatively boring, but Sunday I went to Kayla’s again. We walked Kiyara and Cimarron while it wasn’t sweltering hot outside. They were grateful for the exercise, too. We went back inside and played re-played a new game Kayla started on Kingdom Hearts. Holy crap! I almost forgot! Kayla has decided that she’s going to draw each member of Dir en grey, and if we are able to see them again in the future, she’s going to try to give them the pictures. ^^ She has two done of Die, and Kaoru’s picture is done. It looks so freaking awesome...next time I’ll have to take pictures of them or something. She drew them with pencil and oil pastels. She had started on Kyo’s, and the hair was going awesome, but she ended up messing up on his lips and neck, so she stopped on his for now. She also has Shinya’s started, and it looks great. ^^ We’re still trying to find a picture of Toshiya, so if anybody has a picture of him (preferably with lots of dark shadows), I’d be happy to give it to Kayla so she can start on it! After a while, we watched the movie Pathfinder. It was really good! It’s about this tribe of Native Americans on the East coast who fight off invading Vikings. A Native woman finds a ruined Viking ship and the bodies of her kin, but also a scared boy who was the son of the Viking leader. The village adopts him (calling him Ghost), and fifteen years later a neighboring village visits them with the Pathfinder, who’s what you would call a shaman of sorts. They leave, and a few days later Ghost accompanies a little girl while she collects herbs. They eventually get separated, and Vikings find the little girl and attack the village. Ghost sees what happens and goes to warn the other village so they have time to leave. It’s a really good movie, and the only thing about it that we didn’t like was the historical accuracy of the animals used. The Native American village has a scruffy-looking terrier type dog, when they would have more than likely had a wolf-like canine. The Vikings had what looked like Rotweilers with them, as well as what appeared to be a Bullmastiff. Those two breeds weren’t anywhere near where the Vikings were. Other than that, it was very good. Very gory, mind you, but good. Kayla and I found that we often were questioning the accuracy of blood-spurtage when a limb or head was smashed or cut off. XD
