Water ish gudd fer yoo...
Ugh...I need to take a shower again...today, instead of a regular school day, we had a town clean-up day. So at 8:30 a.m., everyone who lived in a town's area, met at a designated place to begin to clean up the town. Our town met up at the community center. Some of us swept main street and re-painted the parking lines, others picked up sticks everywhere, still others raked up leaves around town. My small group headed up to the cemetery to clean it up. Kayla and I ran down a field that was between the cemetery and her house (also happened to be the field the horses grazed in once in a while) so we could get another rake. *snicker* We took our time on the way back to make our time go by a little faster. When we got back to the cemetery, we didn't even end up raking; we scrubbed tomb-stones and benches. Between Kayla, Brittany, Katie, Amy, and myself we got the ones we could clean done within a half hour to 45 minutes. After that we raked up a little around some trees, then parked Brittany's car near the entrance of the cemetery. Then we (Kayla, Brittany, and I) and Charlee piled into Mrs. Bauman's van (she was the main teacher in charge of our town's group) with some rakes and met some of the lazy boys up by the main benches. We girls raked up a little, then Mrs. Bauman let us "rake up down by the entrance", while the boys complained about us leaving while they had to work more. It was hilarious! Then we went back into town and ate lunch. We weren't supposed to leave until around 1:30 in the afternoon, but Mrs. Bauman knew we couldn't stay that long, so she let us go after we all ate at noon instead! I went to Kayla's and we hung out there for a bit, then went down and brushed the winter fur off of the horses until it was time for me to catch the bus home. It was a fun day to say the least. ^^
Saturday was our school’s prom night, and Kayla ended up going with her boyfriend. I was able to get a ride to the school from her mom so that I could see everyone come in, and watch the Grand March. A lot of my friends’ dates decided to ditch them at the last moment, but luckily that “Hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn” saying came into play, and some of them came anyway. The Grand March, if anybody is wondering, is basically when the couple walks into (in our case) the gym, the teacher said their names and who their parents were, people take pictures of them as they walk past, then they sit down at their table. I got some good pictures of Kayla and Justin. I’ll post them when I get the film developed. But that might be a while, seeing as how I’m going to be using the leftover 16 pictures on a Hyde fanbook project a girl started in honor of Haido-sama coming to California for a concert. I’m going to send in a lot of stuff...Yumi-chan talked me into sending in a copy of my Hyde sketch (link in a previous post). I think when I get my white ribbon, I’ll have somebody take a picture of me and my surrealism piece with the ribbon on it.
I am definitely going to be sore tomorrow...after running around and walking up and down hills all day today, and walking around the pasture yesterday and chasing after some loose dogs (ran up that hill into the cemetery) pretty much right after that, I’m not really surprised...maybe I’ll take some Motrin or something before I go to school tomorrow...I’m working on a late Easter/Birthday pic for Yumi-chan, since Saturday was also her birthday. HAPPY B-DAY YUMI-CHAN!!!!!! She’s having her birthday party the first week of May, and hopefully I’ll have a new layout set up by then...I’m pretty sure you can all guess who it is...Sorry I don’t update enough for some of you...I hope this made up for it? ^^

Because what could be more fun than Hyde in leather pants and a box?
