"Hey Miss Girl, is Very Fond of Child..."
Post time: 10:00p.m. CT
Current Music: "umbrella" - Dir en grey
Tomorrow afternoon I should have my Kyo cosplay picture up...hopefully. As you can see, I attepted to revamp my site into a Miyavi theme...particularly his new PV for "Selfish Love -Aishitekure, Aishiteru Kara-", which is at the bottom of this post (sorry dial-up users...-.-; It's really slow for me, too!) I really like Miyavi's new acustic-only songs. It really shows off his skills! Oh yeah, he totally pwns the guitar. I also really like his song, "-We Love You- [Sakai wa kimi wo aishiteru]". I watch the video to the version he did on a radio station, and I fell in love! It's a very addictive song, too.
Ah...I love a little drama added in my life, don't you? Well, last Friday, I got a nice bowlful. It was after our Homecoming game (which we lost horribly...38-0) and before the dance. Kayla and Justin had been fighting and decided to talk it out in his car. Only, I didn't hear Kayla when she told me that, so I didn't really know where she was going. Before I go on, he dad does not like that fact that they were "sexually active." He had threatened several time to send Kayla to a foster home if she didn't break up with him, but she won't because of how much she loves Justin. Kayla's two older brothers, Cory and Cody, and Cory's fiancee, Sarah, also came to the game and planned on going to the dance as well. So, Yumi, Cory, Sarah, and myself wait for Kayla to come, the dance had started several minutes ago, but when she doesn't show. Cory asks were she went. My heart sank to my stomach when I told him she went with Justin somewhere. He got upset and went on about how him and Sarah were supposed to be watching her, and she wasn't supposed to go anywhere alone with him, and she had yelled at Sarah about it. He called their mom and told her this. She then proceeded to call their father. Not a good thing. It turns out, Kayla and Justin just went to the gas station and came back and parked in the parking lot to finish talking. Their dad was in the parking lot within a half an hour of getting the call, and from Sioux City, it's a good hour's drive or so. He parked near the car, looked like he was going to the passenger's side where Kayla was, made a U-turn and punched the driver's window, luckily, not breaking it. Kayla got out of the car, yelled "Lock the doors!" and confronted her father, who told her to get into his car. They both got in, made like they were going to leave, but he just pulled ahead a little so that he boxed Justin in. Her dad then started yelling at her. She tried to get out, but he grabbed her arm, twisted it and pushed her into the door. She came running over where we were all standing, shoe-less, and cried on the ground. Her dad then decided to call the cops. A town cop came and talked to Kayla's dad, her, Justing and his cousin Devon, and our principal, Mr. Hulbrooke.
Nothing could be done to Justin, because he was still a minor, and he didn't force himself on Kayla. Kayla couldn't be put in a foster home because she didn't do anything wrong. Cory was starting to regret calling his parent's now, and I felt I sould have told Kayla to just talk with Justin in the dance. Kayla, Yumi, and I had a hug and cry session, in which Kayla told us she was sorry she got us involved in this. I told her that she had always been there for us when we were in distress, so it was only right we returned the favor. I was supposed to spend the night at Kayla's house, but seeing as how she was scared to death to go home to her dad like he was, we spent the night at Cory's house. So, we ended up missing the whole dance. The next afternoon after I get home, I get a call from Kayla on her mom's cell phone. Her dad just kicked her and her mom out of the house. She said they were going to go the her grandma's house to stay the weekend. Sunday I went to Omaha for my family birthday party (Cherry blossom shampoo and conditioner, boo-yah!) and I checked our calls when we got home, only to find Kayla had tried to call. I call her back and she answers the phone crying and tells me her dad said that she either had to break up with Justin, or her and her mom had to move out. Now, I was way passed the whole crying thing after we talked about everything at Cory's. I was getting pissed off. I console her, and didn't expect to see her in school Monday. She was there, comeplete with a nice set of bruises from her dad Friday night. She talked to the counselor and he contacted DHS. A lady came down and talked with Kayla and her mom about why her dad doesn't like Justin, blah, blah, blah. The lady wanted to talk with Kayla's dad and Justin, then planned on having Kayla's family and Justin talk about everything to sort it out. Just when I thought everything was hunky-dory, Kayla wasn't in school this morning, and I hear a rumor her cousin heard that she got sent away last night. I walked away in shock as it sort of sank in, and I cried during the first half of Biology. Does anyone know what it's like to have your best friend since 3rd grade being torn away from you? I did for that few minutes. Then I saw Kayla in the hall and nearly killed her by hugging her.
Wow...that was a long explanation...I won't be suprised if anybody skips that...well, I'm not sure what's going on with Kayla right now...I havn't gotten a hold of her, and I don't have her in almost any classes, so I have no clue what going on, only the fact that I despise her parents. I know it sounds a little crule, but I highly doubt I will ever forgive them. I am a grudge bearer, and honestly wouldn't care very much if they got shot in the face. Such a happy child, ne? Well, may teh Meevers cheer thee up!!!
