Cruelty at it's Worst
First allow me to say that it simply baffles me at how one person can put someone else through a living hell and not think anything of it. A very dear friend of mine was beaten up about a week ago, and it's finally dawning on me after the period of time between now and then, that people could be so cruel. I'm 17 years old, and have never been through a situation like this before...
I think it would be different if he were beaten for something other then the reason he was. He was beaten for his difference from the 'normal' boy, he was beaten because of his sexuality.
Is there something i'm missing here? Is there something that i'm not seeing that gives anyone the reason to do something like this? Because if I am, please do tell me.
Not only was he beaten to the point he could have been killed, but it wasn't just one person. IT WAS FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE! My friend is smaller then me my friends, and I am 5'5''.
Do people find a sick sort of pleasure out of beatening a boy to within inches of his life?? Do they get off on that sort of sick pleasure?????
As was said above, I am 17 and i have never been through this sort of thing, and i'm still working on how to handle it... What would you do?
