   Sooo tired....
I'm so tired... woke up at 3 am this mornin because of my allergies... which really sucks.. cause I didn't get back to sleep until 5:50. Tryin to take in some No Fear though seein if maybe I can keep myself away for a bit longer. But for right now I'll leave ya guys with another chapter of the story. And I wanna ask ya guys if ya can identify the song I have on my site now. if ya know PM me the answer!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Very homey place huh Akio?” She nodded and kept close too him. She had also noticed that all the people in the bar were unlike any she had ever seen. Most had some sort of mark on their face, necks or arms. One mark she did notice was the mark of a fallen angel, in total she saw four of them, each looked battered and worn out, even though they looked no older than her.
“Some of these people are fallen angels Ronin.” He looked at her slightly confused.
“How can you tell?”
“The black mark right under the right eye that looks like a snake with two dots on the one side, is the mark of a fallen angel.” He became even more uneasy about being there even though they had not been met with any hostility what-so-ever.
“I thought you two would never come.” Akio recognized the voice from the call, and looked in that direction.
“Don’t be scared. No one here will harm you. Your one of them and they sense that.” Ronin and Akio stepped up to the bartender who had identified himself as the mystery caller.
“What do you mean by one of them? Mr. Uh…”
“Just call me Tsuki. Most do here. You both had the vision of the war right?” Both nodded and looked to him questioningly.
“Let your hearts be at ease, both of you are actually demons that as infants had sent here, to live in secret to avoid that war. Both of you were the lucky ones to find a life and forget about what happened. But... now there is a problem... Akio you’ve already experienced it in your attack. That man that attacked you was a very powerful demon that we’ve come to call ‘silver death’, because of his blue and silver hair, normally he is a ruthless assassin, but has one weakness.” Akio shivered at the memory of him pinning her to the ground and the coldness in his voice.
“What’s the weakness?” Tsuki looked from her to Ronin.
“You love her don’t you Ronin?” He looked at Tsuki confused at how he knew his name, and love for Akio.
“Yes, would do anything for her.”
“Heh, I thought so. That man that attacked her is the same way, but for different reasons. You see her bloodline is a unique one; it’s made up of half fallen angel and the latter being a very powerful line of fire demon. That line makes her the only one that can kill him, so hence if he can make her love him he has nothing to worry about.” Akio saw fire in as he explained what that creature’s intention had been.
“That bastard…” Her teeth were tightly clenched as she slowly spoke the words. Ronin put an arm around her.
“Akio don’t do anything stupid.” Tsuki nodded in agreement.
“You haven’t awakened yet to whom both of you really are yet. This is why I called you here, and also to give you something that will start the conversion.” He looked to Ronin first.
“As you know Ronin, your name means a samurai without a master. Well that is a small part of your ability. You are unmatched with a weapon, such as a whip, sword, or gun. But also have the ability to sooth the heart with the sound of your voice. Your father was an extremely skilled samurai, and your mother was an apocathary, that had the voice of an angel.” He looked then to Akio.
“Like I told you, your half fallen angel, and half fire demon. You can use fire by chanting, and sometimes create a firestorm when you want to. You also have the ability to use your fallen angel ability to show your black wings and fly, with the means to fire poisonous ice crystals from your claws at your enemies.” The two of them looked at him stupefied at what they had just heard. Tsuki slightly laughed at their expressions and turned to the safe behind him. Ronin looked at Akio, just as she did the same.
“It explains the vision and why I was attacked, but still…”
“I hear you that way Akio.” Tsuki looked back at them with a vial of liquid that was a pale lavender color.
“Tonight drink this liquid both of you. Just don’t leave each other. Ronin, she’ll change first since her blood is pure half and half. Then you will. Just support each other through it; because I won’t lie to you… it will be painful, sometimes extremely as your body changes to the way it was supposed to be.” Akio took the vial from Tsuki and lowered her eyes.
“This explains why I never felt like I belonged here, I always felt like I was the odd one out...” Ronin nodded in agreement.
“I had always felt the same way.” Ronin added with a little embarrassment. Tsuki nodded.
“I’m sorry that we had to put you two through this… but we can’t hide you any longer. I would say goodbye to your friends before you take this since it will react within minutes.” They nodded and thanked him for telling them the truth. He wished them luck, and left with Ronin’s arm around Akio’s waist. The situation had seemed to increase their bond even more since they were both in the same situation.
They opened the door to the apartment and went inside. Kisho had been sitting on the couch obviously worrying about both of them.
“What happened?!” They just looked at him with a slightly dazed look.
“What is it? Tell me what happened Ronin.” Ronin shook his head.
“I can’t tell ya... cause I barely believe it...” Kisho looked more worried than ever. Then both Ronin and Akio went up to Kisho and gave him a hug. Freaking him out even more, throwing his usual calm and serious manner out the window.
“Thank you for letting me live with you Kisho. Ya helped me through many hard times.” Kisho felt Ronin tighten his grip. He heard Akio silently sob.
“Thanks too for being there when I needed it. Sometimes I don’t know what I would have done without ya.” Kisho felt tears start to well up and knew something was going to happen that would separate them. He wrapped his arms around the two of them, as a silent tear fell. After a few moments they broke the hug and looked for a second at each other.
“Kisho, tonight we have to do something that is very intense. I don’t want you to get mixed up in it no matter what you hear. We’ll come out when we can.”
“What is it that ya have to do?” Akio held up the small vial.
“This liquid is what will reveal what we really look like.” Kisho looked at her like she had lost it.
“What do ya mean; show what ya really look like?” She lowered her head not sure how to explain to him what would happen that upcoming night.
“You’ll see after it’s done.” Akio felt some tears start to come, but Ronin wrapped his arms around her. She leaned back in his embrace to try and relax her feelings that were in a twist with the unknown she was about to endure. Ronin moved slightly edging her to the room so they could start the transformation. Akio took the hint and started back towards the room.
“Akio are you ready for this?” She nodded unable to really speak. Ronin nodded and opened the door allowing them in. Closing the door behind him, and then locking it, he looked back to Akio. She had sat down on his bed, and was in a daze. Slowly sitting next to her he put an arm on her shoulder.
“I won’t leave your side while this happens. I just want you to know that.” She smiled at the concern in his voice.
“Thank you Ronin.” Akio gave him a full kiss one last time in her human body that she had possessed for the past twenty-some years. She picked up the vial and drank half the liquid then handed it to Ronin who drank the rest. Both winced at the foul taste and smell that came with it.
A few seconds later Akio felt a burning sensation in her stomach, like someone made her swallow a hot coal. The pain started almost immediately after, like shards of glass and ice being ripped into her. She doubled over in extreme pain trying to not think of it, but it was no use. She fell on the floor tensing with each spasm of pain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kisho had been by the door and was watching them with a smile. His plan had worked, Akio was falling for Ronin and Ronin himself was getting his wish of wanting to be with Akio. He smiled but then felt like he had swallowed a pound of lead.
‘I still wonder who that guy that attacked her was; I don’t know what kind of guy would do something like that to her…’ He turned his attention back to the two of them. Akio had wrapped her arms around him, and was resting her head against his chest. He brought her closer by picking her up to put her on his lap. She still clung to him not willing to allow herself to let go. He felt her cling a little tighter to him while sitting side-saddle on his lap. Akio smirked again and slowly shifted her weight back on him. Ronin tried to keep his balance, but then quickly lost it and fell back on the bed. He looked at Akio again who had a rather large smirk.
“What are you up to?” She continued to look him in the eye with the devilish smile, turned over straddling his hips, and made herself comfortable on top of him. He held onto her and kissed her slightly. She returned the kiss a little more passionately and felt him move his hands to her lower back holding her tight to him. Then suddenly she got up and went to the door.
“Just saying thank you babe.” She smiled and left the room. Ronin just about flipped. He couldn’t believe that she had actually accepted him and would have her as his girl.
Akio looked down the hall at Kisho who had a rather large smile. “You heard didn’t you?” He nodded and walked towards her.
“He’s loved ya all this time, just never told ya, believe me I’ve heard about ya enough.”She gave a smile back to him.
“Shoulda told him to express it more then. I felt the same way just never knew he did.” Kisho nodded and showed her to the kitchen to get her something to drink. She sat down at the small bar while he got her a soda. As she watched him, she saw a flash of red. Then visions of a large war, around her people with pointed ears and others with coal black skin and deep red eyes.
She could feel the fear the ones with the pointed ears had. A scythe flew over her head, luckily with her sword training she was able to duck in time, but still losing her balance and tripping, she landed in a puddle of water as she saw a large dragon fly overhead, scales gleaming the deep midnight blue color, and eyes glowing white. A young man with pointed ears riding on it’s back holding a sword wreathed in mist and ice was in his hand. He yelled something in a language she never heard before, and turned back, in time to see a body of one of the black creatures fall. The female warrior stabbed a blood soaked ivory dagger deep into what would pass for a chest. The creature gave one last swipe narrowly missing her. Akio watched awe struck at the brutality of the war. Every man and woman fighting on the side, of the people with the pointed ears looked exhausted and showed the scars of their extreme fight. In the back of her mind just as another pointed ear warrior fell, she heard a voice call her name. She opened her eyes looking up at Ronin and Kisho who were now pale. She shook her head and slowly sat up.
“Akio, ya ok? Scared the shit out of me there. Just as I was turning to get ya something ya started to collapse.” Ronin didn’t say anything, but she could see it in his eyes that he was scared.
“I’m alright…” She looked down at the floor slightly to not show the fear she felt from the vision she had just seen.
“Akio... what did you see?” The question from Ronin’s mouth shocked her slightly, looking up at him seeing the same fear behind his eyes that she felt. Kisho looked at him sort of confused.
“What do you mean Ronin? When I went back to your room ya were the same way as she was, but you snapped out of it in a minute or two.” He nodded, and then looked back at Akio.
“You saw that war too… didn’t you?” Her jaw dropped slightly.
“You saw it too?!” He nodded, as she saw the fear return just as strong to his eyes and face.
“What war? Will you both please tell me what’s going on!?” They both looked at Kisho equal fear from both of them.
“You don’t want to know… trust us. But I want to know where and what the war was about...” Akio finishing the statement left Kisho with more questions than answers but seeing the fear that even Ronin felt, he didn’t push it. Ronin looked up at Akio.
“I recognized the two races that were fighting?” Akio looked at him more intently.
“What were they?” The curiosity in her voice showed the high level of interest she had about the vision and what the purpose was.
“Both sides were demon, the ones that just had the pointed ears were a variety of different races of demon. Everything from ice demons to vampires, were on that side. The opposing which had the coal black skin and red eyes was a mix of gore-hounds and hell-biters.” Akio listened attentively and attempted to understand what was being told.
“So basically a large battle between good and evil?” Kisho had picked up some information of why both were so afraid, but then realized what the intensity had been.
“Yes basically... It’s an ancient war though. Could tell by the techniques and methods used.” Akio nodded and remembered the note she had gotten.
“I almost forgot, I’m supposed to meet someone at the bar today...” Kisho and Ronin turned instantly suspicious.
“Ya know who this is that ya meeting?” She shook her head.
“Don’t trust it then.”
“I’ll go with her. It seems this guy whoever he is, knows something we don’t.” Kisho nodded as Ronin helped Akio to her feet.
“When did he say we would meet?”
“He said at 4.” Ronin looked at the clock and nodded.
“We better go now then; it’s already 3:30.” Akio agreed with him, feeling the nervousness in her stomach.
‘I just have a bad feeling something bad is gonna happen here…’
“Akio, ya ok?” She shook herself out of the thought and turned to Kisho.
“Yea I’m fine. Don’t worry.” She gave Kisho a hug goodbye, and followed Ronin down to his Mustang. They pulled out quickly into the bustling streets of New York. The traffic was slightly lighter for the time of day, but still heavy like usual. The two of them continued to talk about the vision on the way. Ronin pulled into the parking lot and parked fairly close to the door and turned off the car. They both got out hesitantly and looked around a bit. Akio looked at Ronin, seeing he felt something was different.
“Ronin have you ever seen this bar here before?” He looked at her for a second, and then looked back a little more anxious.
“No. I’ve never seen this one before?” Slowly and hesitantly they walked into the bar. The windows were blacked out, and the inside looked like an old medieval Tavern, with armor, swords, and weapons that couldn’t even be described hanging on the walls. Over the mantle on a roaring fire, was the head of a large hellhound, the sparks still dripping from its slightly open mouth was feeding the fire.

   Sorry long time no post.
Very sorry everyone, I've been busy as hell lately. But finally I don't have to worry about any more. Well except for my one exam in Art History Survey 101 that won't be hard though. Then I'm off till the 16th.^_^ so happy! will be sure to visit everybody's site asap. But for right now gonna leave ya with another part of my story.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hey sweetie. Didn’t think you would come right to my arms.” Akio looked up and realized it was Ronin. She hugged him tightly, and rested her head against his chest. He was a little surprised with the reaction but just wrapped his arms around her tighter. She hugged him tighter as she felt him gasp in surprise.
“Akio, I have something to tell you...” She looked up at him a little surprised.
“What is it Ronin?” He looked at her with a look that she had never seen before, and saw him give a smile that she also had never seen.
“Akio… I wasn’t gonna do this but… I can’t hide it any longer. This happened many years ago, but you had a boyfriend at the time and I didn’t wanna come between you two. But now is better than never. Akio, I love you… I always have ever since I met you. It took a while to realize it, but I did after I couldn’t get the thought of ya outta my head.” Akio looked at him slightly shocked at how he had come right out with it. Then gave him a sweet smile.
“I think I’ve felt the same way and never realized it. I always felt safe and warm in your arms whenever you hugged me, and always felt safe with you, unlike with my now ex.” She wrapped her arms around his neck and felt him wrap his arms tightly around her waist. She tried to remember the last time she had felt so comfortable in the arms of a man, but no memory surfaced. All were painful or hesitant for her. He gently kissed her neck, unsure of how she would react.
Akio felt the gesture of affection and at first stayed still, but then turned her head so that her neck was exposed to him and closed her eyes. His warm embrace of love had taken her and she didn’t want him to ever let her go.
Kisho had come back to make sure Ronin didn’t need any more help with any bags, and saw them together like they had been together for years. Akio felt someone watching them and turned to the doorway and saw Kisho with a pleased smile, and smiled back at him returning her attention to Ronin. “Babe, we should get going…” His ears rang with the way that she had called him babe, how it seemed to roll of her tongue like she had said it to him all her life.
“Yea I know, just don’t want this moment to end, beautiful.” She gave a smile at his statement and pulled back slightly out of his arms. She moved a hand to the side of his face, and felt him rest his head against her hand.
“I’ll help ya with ya bags.” She nodded and left his arms. Akio slowly made a last look over her room she had spent so many days in, and then turned to leave with Ronin. He walked directly behind her and closed the door and checked it was locked. He picked the other duffel she had and took it down to the car.
Ai had been thinking about her close friend most of the night and was worried since she hadn’t called her or even seen her. She called her apartment again, and there was no answer then a message she didn’t expect on her machine.
“Hi, I’m not at home, I left with a few friends of mine and have no clue when I’ll be back. If this is really important then try my cell, but no guarantees that I’ll have it on me. Just not wanting to really talk to any one… Bye.” Ai looked first confused that her close friend would leave and not tell her where, she started to worry even more for her friend’s safety. She knew she had met a few people when she was in college, and a few after she moved to New York, but that’s what worried her since she said she was staying with them. After some thinking she remembered Akio telling her about one guy she had met at a diner, and said she had felt a connection with him. But couldn’t remember his name for anything, slowly she turned to her window and looked out thinking about what she should do.
Akio went into the two men’s apartment and at first gave a little smirk. It looked exactly like a typical guy’s apartment, wasn’t that messy, but not overly clean. Ronin gave a slight smile.
“Uh sorry… kinda excuse the mess, not exactly the best at that.” Akio looked at him with a smirk, and took her duffel from his hand.
“Looks like you guys need a woman’s touch in here… and one other thing were is your room Ronin?” His eyes widened a little at the question.
“Uh it’s right down the hall there, first door.” She saw his reaction and knew that he knew she would be sleeping with him. He couldn’t help but watch her while she walked down the hall, the way her body moved with each step. Kisho lightly hit him in the back of the head with his hand.
“Why are you just gawking, go to her. You know she likes the show of affection.” Ronin for the first time blushed at his thoughts and gave a nervous smile. But he started down the hallway towards his room and heard Akio looking in her bag for something. He knocked first in case she was changing, and then entered. Akio looked up at him and gave her sweet smile. He went in the room and closed the door behind him.
“I never thought these dreams I’ve had would ever come true.” She went up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. He slowly wrapped his arms around her gently massaging her lower back. She sighed slowly to the feeling of his gentle touch.
“Ronin? I never told you something. It was mainly because of my other boyfriend being a jerk, but Ronin I always felt a connection with you…” He hugged her a little tighter and smiled.
“I know what you mean. I guess that’s why I never liked you’re boyfriends or always wanted to be with you… I guess I just kinda felt a little jealous.” She felt his face get slightly hot against her neck and knew he was blushing. Slowly moving a hand to the back of his head, then pulled back slightly and looked into his eyes. There was still a slight hint of a blush to his cheeks. He pulled her slightly closer and she met him in a kiss. At first he was taken back slightly by the sudden movement, but then fell into the gentle feeling of her body against his. A few moments passed and she pulled away from the kiss with a smile.
“You’re sweet, and honestly one of the few that could win my heart without even trying to.” She pulled back from him so that she could find some of her things in her bag. Ronin sat on his bed and watched her for a moment, unsure of if he should offer to help or to let her do her own thing. She saw him watching her out of the corner of her eye and gave another small smirk, she had always known that he had feelings for her, but she had never realized this strong.
“What ya lookin at pretty eyes?” He blushed, realizing that she had noticed his staring.
“Just lookin at a pretty face.” Akio bit her lip slightly and turned a little to have him avoid seeing most of the blush that had graced her face with that one comment.
“What’s amatter Akio? Why ya blushing?” He was smirking because he knew the answer to his own question.
“I think ya know the answer to that, and if ya don’t it’s because ya flirting is beginning to get to me.” Akio turned to him again and sat down on his bed next to him.
hope ya enjoyed so far.
   Freakin freezin!
It was so freekin cold today! Just walkin from my car to the communications building was like trudgin across the arctic tundra. but ah well, will live. And it's weekend so no worries there!
Must say thanks to all of ya for leavin comments on my story so far and so glad that ya like it. I'm gonna post the next chapter tonight, but I'm also changin my theme too. So tell me what ya think of the new look. heh, well better get goin on those projects, so... so long for now!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning she saw that she had forgotten to pull down her shade when she was met with the bright morning sunlight. Blinking a few times she looked at the clock and saw it was 7am, she picked up the phone on her nightstand and dialed her work number.
“Pier 1 checking area, Cait speaking.” Akio smiled it was a very close friend of hers from work thankfully and not her manager.
“Hi this is Akio.”
“Akio, hiya how are you?” She just shook her head at her enthusiasm.
“Been better. Can I ask a favor of you?” She heard laughing on the other end of the phone.
“Not comin in today?”
“No… I just have too much on my mind wouldn’t be much help.”
“No prob, Akio. I’ll cover for you. Hope ya can get everything settled! Bye!”
“Byeya Cait and thanks.” She hung up the phone and looked over at her window. The morning light sent a gentle wash of sunlight over the buildings and a glow to the city. She stood after a few moments and took up her Katana. Practicing a few of her moves she needed for the competition the following weekend, she heard the doorbell ring. Akio placed the blade back in its sheath and set it in the case on her bed. She went over to the door looked to see who it was.
Surprised she saw no one there and curious she opened the door. Cautiously she looked up and down the hallway and saw no one. Kind of disappointed Akio looked down and saw a bouquet of Roses with a note attached to it. Carefully pulling the note off, she read it to herself.

‘Hey sweetness, Ronin told me what happened last night and I felt like you needed something to perk you up. So I got you some roses to add some brightness to your day. If you can take off of work today I’ll pick you up later and we can drop by the bar on 6th street. Hope ya don’t mind if we go there for 4pm. I’ll have Ronin with me so I hope you don’t mind that either. But please do me a favor and brighten up a little baby girl. See you later then.
Lots of love,
Kisho and Ronin
P.S. We both paid for the flowers hope you really like them.’

The tears started to fall from Akio’s eyes.
‘They are so sweet… almost exactly like older brothers to me.’ She picked up the vase of flowers and brought them inside closing the door. She set them on her windowsill and turned back to her bed to make it. The soft flannel sheets were comforting for her last night and the peaceful sleep still lingered around her. She slowly folded over the top of the sheet and looked up at her mirror on the wall. As she watched her reflection in the mirror she saw a figure behind her. Slowly she took a breath and tried to stay calm so that the figure would not notice she saw them.
The way the light cast a silhouette over the form made it nearly impossible to see any features on it. Closing her eyes for a minute she grabbed and unsheathed her sword on the figure. It ducked out of the way quickly, but as she rushed she could very easily distinguish one feature.
‘Silver and blue hair…’ The figure jumped at her from behind and pinned her to the floor. Akio could feel the weight of it on her back keeping her pinned. Its breathing was calm and she felt the warmth of each breath against her ear as it leaned down to her.
“I’ve been watching you. You have no clue who you really are... do you? It’s a pity; you’re much stronger than this Sakura. You know you are down in your soul. And you know who I am. My features may be different but you know my name, past, and life.” Akio held her breath the male voice made her ears burn, and eyes tear.
‘Who is this guy… and how the hell did he get in…’ The man did not move from his position or make any movement that would allow her to get up.
“Who are you?” She heard a laugh escape his throat, and a shiver ran through her body.
“You honestly don’t remember me, Sakura?” She growled slightly in frustration.
“My name is not Sakura, its Akio. May at least know your’s?” Her voice had more of a bite to it than she meant to let come. He laughed again at her tone and moved back swiftly off her. She heard the door close and the man leave. She looked up slowly at the doorway and tried to think of what had just happened to her and why that man had called her Sakura. Slowly not knowing what she should really do she turned to the window closed and locked it so that no one could come in if they wanted to. Then ran and locked the dead bolt on the door. After checking the door she collapsed to her knees sobbing. That was when she heard a knock at the door.
“Akio? You home? It’s Kisho.” She continued to sob and unlocked the door recognizing the voice. She sat next the door.
“It’s open… Kisho…” He slowly opened the door and saw her sitting on the floor with tears streaming down her face. His expression changed from his normal carefree nature to worry.
“Akio, what happened? Why are you so upset?” He sat down on the floor and moved closer to her in attempt to comfort her.
“Kisho... It’s just… nothing, don’t worry about it I’ll survive.” Akio looked away and wiped her eyes relaxing herself a little more. He lowered his head and pulled her a little closer to him.
“I know you better than that and you know that. Tell me what’s wrong.” She slowly looked up at him expecting to see a look of pity on his face, but surprisingly she saw a look of worry.
“It’s just I was attacked a few moments before you came in and I was a little out of it.” His eyes went cold.
“What do you mean attacked?! Were you in here or outside?”
“I was in here. Then the next thing I knew I was down on the ground with ‘him’ pinning me.” He thought for a moment and she knew exactly what he was thinking. “No it wasn’t my ex. It was someone different… colder and he kept calling me Sakura.” Kisho turned to his thoughts and looked back at her after a few moments.
“You are going to stay with me and Ronin tonight.” She just shook her head and agreed knowing that it was impossible to change his mind.
“One thing though… You may have to share a bed with me or him, because I’m not sleepin with a guy, even for you sweet.” She laughed and just looked at him.
“Fine, I can deal with that as long as you both are good and no ganging up on me.” He winked at her jokingly.
“No promises there...” She nudged him in the side playfully and then got up. He stood up, then pulled her up next to him, wrapped his arms around her, and felt her arms wrap around him. He felt her smile and then pull away.
“Ok let me get a few things together and I’ll go with you.” He nodded and sat down in her recliner as she packed a small duffel with clothes, her sword, and a few essentials. She looked at him still slightly shaken. He just gave a reassuring smile, picked up the duffel and went out the door; she left a note for her tenant and turned to leave, but walked into something. Then she felt two arms wrap tightly around her.

“Can definitely tell its winter, it’s so cold tonight. Was hoping all day that we’d get some snow, did for awhile, when I was serving a few tables.” She nodded and started walking to the curb.
“Thank you for making this night better for me Ronin.” He smiled and winked.
“Hey no problem sweetness!” She laughed at him and just shook her head.
“You are such a flirt?” He stood up straighter and held his head high in mockery of her statement. They laughed at each other and headed towards the park. Snow began to fall as they walked through central park. Akio had told him the entire story of what happened between her and her now ex-boyfriend. He had put his arm around her shoulder comfortingly, and she just leaned against him.
“I don’t now what I would do without you. You’re like my crutch, Ronin.” He just smiled.
“Hey, I would do anything for ya! You’re like my sister.” She just sighed.
“You’re too sweet...” A tear started to fall from her eye, and glinted in the pale light as a few flakes of snow began to fall. She quickly wiped it away and looked up letting the cold flakes land on her face. Ronin stopped and just watched her as the wind blew past her gently swirling the fallen snow around her feet. The flakes that landed on her skin turned to water instantly, but the few that clung to her hair and eyelashes made her eyes sparkle. He sighed knowing what that jerk did to her, even though she is one of the few gentle spirited people in the world.
“Akio?” He stared at her as the wind seemed to move around her like a white mist. She looked at him and cocked her to the side a little.
“What’s amatter?” His jaw had slightly dropped at how she looked. He stepped over to her and wrapped his arms around her.
“Ronin, what is it?” He hugged her tighter.
“I got such a feeling there when I saw you do that. I felt like I was in a dream and ... Nothing doesn’t worry about it.” She smiled and wrapped her arms around him.
“I’m glad you felt like that…” She looked up at the stars thinking about how she loved to be embraced like this. How it was a hug of friendship and true show of affection to her. This was one person she knew she did not have to fight. Ronin pulled away from her and laughed.
“You’re such a mooch?” Her jaw dropped and she stared at him.
“I’m a mooch!? I don’t think so, you’re the mooch!” He had been walking away from her and looked back.
“Ya really think so?” She ran after him and he turned and ran.
“I didn’t mean that Akio!” They stopped and just started laughing. Akio looked at her watch and turned to him.
“I better get home it’s almost 12:30…” He nodded.
“I’ll walk ya home. And please try and get some rest tonight you’re not lookin too good.” She whined slightly and glared at him.
“Ok thankx Dad…” He laughed at her and pushed her slightly. As he walked her home, he told her that if her old boyfriend was threatening her in any way he would personally rip out her ex’s spine and feed it back to him.
‘Any man that would treat her like this is not a man at all.’ She just shook her head as he went on and on about it. As they came to her apartment building he turned to her.
“Are ya sure you’re ok?” She looked into his eyes and nodded.
“Yea I’m ok, just like ya said gotta get some rest.” He nodded and gave her a hug.
“I’ll seeya tomorrow then Akio. I gotta get back to my apartment otherwise Kisho will be pissed if I come in late and wake him up.” She laughed and turned towards the door leading to the hallway.
“Good Night Ronin and thanks again.” She gave him another smile and went inside making sure the door was closed behind her. The heat from the boiler on the bottom floor swirled around her wrapping her in the comforting heat that their late night walk had taken from her. She made her way to the elevator and went up to her floor. The entire floor was silent except for the occasional sounding of a phone or TV, but otherwise it was dead silent. She opened her door and stepped inside. Akio clicked on the light and saw a letter on the floor. She set her purse down and picked it up.
“I didn’t ask for anything, and it can’t be my rent bill I just paid it?” She opened the letter and inside was a short note; quickly she scanned down to the bottom to look at the signature. It said Ai, that’s when she realized that her friend who was still in college must have stopped by when she wasn’t home and just dropped off a letter. She sat down on her bed to read the short note.

‘Hiya Akio! I got some time off college so I’ll be free for the next few days. Was hoping to catch you at home, but you seemed to be out when I came by, so I just dropped this note for ya. Hope life is treating you well! I will try to call you tomorrow morning. Maybe we can go shopping for a bit if ya don’t have to work. Well I’ll be sure to talk to ya sometime in these few days, hope you’re doing ok, cause your normally home at this time of night? I’ll definitely check on you tomorrow. Well Byeya for now!
Your long time friend,
~Ai~’

Akio smiled and set the letter on her nightstand. She got her robe and went into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She slowly got undressed tossing her clothes in the basket, and drew her bath. The bathroom was soon engulfed with steam and the smell of roses from her bath oils. She slipped into the hot water, letting the heat wash away all of her thoughts and relaxing her. Then thoughts about how her day had ended quite well rushed through her head. And the thought of how she could have a boyfriend that was not meant for her at all, when she had so many good guy friends by her side. The phone started to ring and she picked it up from the side table next to her.
“Hello.” There was no voice on the other line for a few moments, but then she heard a deep voice come through the phone.
“Hi Akio. I have something I want to give you. Come to the bar on 6th street at 4pm tomorrow. Come with a few friends if you like.” The person hung up and she stared at the phone for a moment, confused. She put the phone down and tried to relax in her bath. The phone call had surprised her a little and caused the nervousness to come back, had her ex set up something in effect to get back at her reaction. The reaction she had was typical to anyone that had been cheated on before. Out of anger she had slapped him hard across the side of the face that it left a bright red mark, that’s when she had turned and run away from him, knowing how he worked.
After about an hour she got out of the bath and turned to her bed. Before she laid down she made sure the door was chained, the dead bolt locked, and her alarm was on. Just in case her ex did try something.

   Doin somethin alittle different today.
Thinkin I'm gonna try somethin new today. I've been tellin ya guys that I've been workin on a novel and gonna give ya guys a preview first. If ya don't wanna read it then that's cool too. just lettin ya know that I will do a regular post later. Hope ya guys enjoy this.

~~~~~~~~~~~Part 1~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She looked up at the picture on her wall in her apartment, tears steaming down her face. Akio listened to her neighbors fighting again. It calmed her down a little hearing them rant, but she burst into tears again soon after remembering him.
Her boyfriend had admitted that he was cheating on her and said he didn’t love her, that he was using her to get another girl. Listening to her neighbors slam doors next door, she turned on her side on the bed and hugged her pillow. Akio knew that she should call someone or talk to someone at least. She finally decided to head over to the restaurant 3 blocks from her apartment where a friend worked. Quickly she threw on a pair of dark jeans and a grey tank top with a black semi jacket, and then slipped on her pleather blazer. After making herself presentable she just slipped on her boots. She happened to look up at the mirror and saw her face.
“I can’t go out looking like this”
Black lines had trailed down her cheeks along with the silver glimmer of her eyeliner. Carefully she cleaned up her face from her crying and went over to the door. Slowly she stepped into the hallway jumping when she hard a thud against the door behind her from something hitting the wall next door, and went to the elevator. She stepped inside alone trying not to listen to the pathetic tune coming from the speaker. She entered the bottom floor and went to the entrance leaving the building, wrapping her coat tighter around her against the cold. She looked around a moment at the amount of people still walking around at that time of night and walked down the street. Slowly she turned the corner towards the restaurant; the streets were busy for being so late at night, which made it kind of difficult when it came to walking.
“This is definitely the city that never sleeps.”
Cars slowly moved by and every so often a car horn sounded, but Aiko didn’t really hear it. Her mind wandered as she walked towards the diner. Mostly they were thoughts of why he would drop her like that or how the hell she was so stupid to actually go out with a guy like him.
In a few minutes she stepped into the diner and took a seat at a table she normally sat at.
“Well, hey there sweetness!” She heard a man’s voice and ignored it until she felt a hand on her shoulder.
“It’s not like ya to not reply. Somethin wrong?” She looked up at the guy and saw it was Ronin.
“Oh. Hi, sorry just kinda preoccupied.” He narrowed his hazel eyes at her.
“I know somethin’s up, and you’re not tellin me.” He sat down at the table across from her and motioned to the diner owner that he was taking his break.
“It’s nothing Ronin, really.” He just smirked at her.
“I bet I know what it is, it’s that bastard of a boyfriend, isn’t it?” She looked up at him and a tear started to form in her eye.
“It is. I thought so. He dropped ya tonight?” Akio nodded and sat back in the booth sliding down a little. He slowly lowered his head slightly, got up, and sat next to her. She looked up at him and he wrapped his arms around her.
“You deserve better than him anyway don’t linger on him. He’s not worth your energy.” She hugged him tightly.
“I know it’s just, I’m more angry at myself for thinking he was actually gonna change.” He laughed slightly.
“I’ll stand by ya.” She smiled gently.
“Thankx. I knew I could count on you to cheer me up.” He winked at her.
“I know something that will make ya feel even better.” She narrowed her eyes at him and was a little uneasy of what he was thinking, knowing Ronin’s typical thoughts.
“Do I even wanna know what you’re thinking...”
Two hours later Akio and Ronin were enjoying a third sundae each.
“You know me too well you know that?” Ronin just laughed.
“Hell yea I do.” She laughed and just shook her head. She playfully nudged him in the side. He made a small whining noise, and made them laugh even more.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw the diner owner coming towards the table. She stopped and leaned on the table they were sitting at. Ronin’s face, which was normally a light tan, went a slightly pale color.
“Look flirty, I don’t mind you talking to girls or taking a break to be with one, but when my customers start getting scared... You need to take it somewhere else.” He nodded slowly to her.
“Yes, mam.” She nodded and went back to the kitchen and he let out a long sigh. Akio gave a soft laugh at him.
“Hmm? I think that your stress level was raised by 5 points there.” He glared at her. “
Yea your’s would to if you saw her when she’s pissed.” Akio just laughed.
“Well better get outta here then.” He nodded quickly and followed her out after signing out. He buttoned up his coat as he left the diner. Akio was holding her pleather blazer shut tightly around her.
   Hiya my friends!
Today was a good day. Had good classes, had fun goin shoppin and almost bein late for drawing.^_^ that was Alex's fault not mine.. he was to busy teasin me about stuff. yea that's him.
Somethin funny did happen though, Steph and I had to go and get beads for a craft she has to do for her cousins and was askin Alex to help us out in choosin the beads. well, during the course of lookin for em Steph dropped one pack between two boxes, and I had to crawl between them to retreive the last pack. Well... I had a purse with me so I handed that to Alex to hold for a moment. While I was doin that step left to use the bathroom, so it was just me and him. Well I got stuck on a box and he had to pull me out, well to do that he had to put my purse over his shoulder. I did get out safely, but he forgot that he had my purse on his shoulder. Well the bathroom was right next to the isle and he wandered into the mens room. I stand there for a bit and a minute later he comes out holdin my purse all embarassed, then goes back in. Then two guys come out crackin up. Yea he got all embarassed when to other guys saw him in the mens room with a woman's purse.^_^ remember guys, don't daze off.
That and he stuffed 8 Goomstopers in his mouth at once. and if ya wanna know the reason it was because he was bored.
Well I think that's enough for now. may add more of a post later. See ya guys!
