I'm looking for a muse or anything that will give me just a bit of inspiration for my serious work. My twin brother left for his college, and he's not coming back until mid August. I'm a little sad, and I all ready miss my brother (he's only been gone for eight hours).

I've been working on my superhero spoof with a chapter that was based on a trip I recently went on. Everything went wrong.

[Kats and Jeff are hanging on Nathan as they get closer to the ride.]

Nathan: You two are superheroes. You can handle the scary monsters, the creepy enemies, and the stalking, but you can't handle this?

Jeff: It goes high, and fast! And it's old and rickety!

Nathan: -sigh-

Kats: You'll sit next to me, won't you?

Nathan: Yeah.

[They board the ride. Jeff sits next to Matt, and Nathan and Kats sit together. Kats clings to Nathan's arm most of the time, and Nathan looks rather bored, until he braces himself for the abrubt stop at the end. When the ride comes to a stop, Jeff hops out of the cart first.]

Jeff: That was a rush! You were right, Nathan, it wasn't that scary.

[Nathan stands again. He doesn't even look phased by the ride, until he takes a step on to the platform.]

SFX: Crack!

Nathan: [holding his back] Ow!

[Kats stands and touches Nathan's shoulder.]

Kats: Are you okay?

Nathan: My back...
