   Retort
Sunday. Boring.

But I will respond to the latest GB entry. Let's see, ahem!

Metal Paw rights:

SIR Gawain? Aren't we high and mighty?

Or something to that effect.

Well, Metal Paw, I call myself Sir Gawain for several reasons. One, Sir Gawain is actually one of the least remembered of Britain's Royal Knights. I believe that he was also a figure in several tales of the Round Table. The Sir comes from what you would call someone of knighthood. But only if using their last name. I chose Sir Gawain instead of Master Gawain (which, coincedentally, would also have been appropriate for addressing a knight, but with a first name instead of a last name).

Second, I'm in my school's JROTC program. So technically, unless you're in the military, I am supossed to be called sir anyways because you're a civilian. But believe me, I was Sir Gawain a long time before I was a Private First Class (1 up, 1 down).

Any questions? If so, please direct them to my secretary, Harley. Just so you know, Harley also happens to be my dog, and is in danger of losing his secretary position due to his lack of ability at stapling. He has wasted more than twenty dollars on staples this month, and I am resigned to buying little metal bars so that he may make them into staples himself.

Sir

PS: If no one knows what book that came from, I wouldn't be surprised. Dissapointed, but not surprised. Because, after all, everyone doesn't live the same life as me.
