I haven't posted in a long time.
I am well and fairly happy considering how miserable I usually am. My Christmas was good though I didn't get what I had asked for. That's life and I'm not going to complain. I got enough money to fill the void in my soul where my new bed was going to sit. I got a new T.V. from my boyfriend and enough laundry soap to keep me going for at least a few months.
I'm finally starting to get comfortable in my new apartment. I managed to hang a few posters and I plan on hanging at least a few more even though wall space is a bit limited. I plan on hanging up a piece of art I did back in high school and I'll eventually take a picture of it to share. At least that way I can have one official, framed piece of art in my room. I try to keep up with the dishes a bit more at this time. I was going through a phase where I just left them in the sink untill they needed a good soaking before I could wash them properly. Now I wash them and leave them in the drying rack untill I use them. :P
I'm planning on looking for a new job in the next week or so. I find it quite sad that while I loved working at Zellers in the beginning, bad management and bad policies have made the job quite depressing for me. Some nights I've almost cried due to the fact that it just seems so messed up. Part of me is afraid that in looking for a new job, I might be told that due to the fact that I a) am a woman and b) lack a driver's license, I will be trapped into working for Zellers, or any other retail environment for that matter, for a longer period of time than I want to. Of course the first option is a bullshit thought and if anyone has the stupidity to use it, I might just get pissed off and start ranting. Though the second option is a valid reason to not employ me based on my current job interest.
I'm also a little sad that I wont be working with my boyfriend in the near future as he plans to find a new job as well. It has been stressful at times, but I really enjoy working with him because he applies himself and he is a good worker. Two things that I find attractive in any co-worker.
And that's the update. I've been wasting my time doing nothing much but breathing. I hope I'm not getting sick.... though the runny nose I have might just be from sitting in the house to long. I might go skating later.

I think I got about a week and a half to pack. *thinks* And I havent even thought about packing.... which is probably bad cause I dont get another weekend off untill after I move... But I'm very excited about moving... I need to get mai internets hooked up and other than that I think Im set for basic living.
I need to pick up a few small things... like kitchen stuff... like a can opener.... but I figure if worse comes to worse... I'll just get Bruce to lend me these things untill I get my own. Cause if I ever need a cup of sugar.... He gots a big bad he stole from work. squeeeee...

Rihanna is on my list of useless females.
She will not be allowed to breed when I rule the world.

So... I havent really been home for the past week... Got a day off for thanksgiving and spent my free time harassing Bruce as he's sick and I want him to get better.
So between watching him to make sure he's not licking boxes at work (cause most of them are covered by disease from around the world), working, thinking of changing occupations (more on that when and if things happen), and somewhat getting myself psyched up to move, I feel like I've been pretty busy. I still have to clean Honey's cage and pay my phone bill tonight.
I've found a new apartment and hopefully I'll move with a lack of problems. Not sure if I'll have internets right when I move in or if I'll have to wait a bit for money to flow in for that... but hopefully I'll have that hooked up quickly and I can live comfortably by myself.
One nice thing about the building I'm moving into is that its really quiet. If you've only ever lived in a house then you may not realize how much noise other people make but right now (3:30 in the morning) I've been listening to the neighbour play his crappy music for about4 hours. I'm not sure if he's playing video games or just playing music... but its loud enough that I can hear it though the wall and I find it really annoying as while I'm not trying to sleep, I know other people are. And its just effing annoying when you're forced to listen to someone elses music when you're in the comfort of your own home.
It kinda makes me want to take some of the death metal I have on my computer and hook it into a really big set of speakers. But at the same time... I only have to live with it for a few more weeks.
So anyway... I went home two weeks ago to get cake for my birthday and then ended up having to go home sick from work the following monday cause I was dead tired and couldnt finish the night. So I figure its better I avoid going home to often for the sake of my heath and my paycheck. Then I got a message today saying my grandmother is down from Newfoundland and I havent seen her in about three years (at least since my graduation). So I figure that with this information, I better get my rear end home for at least a day or enter an early grave. I better not get sick again, goddamnit.
I've kinda been disappointed with the state of the world lately. Shopping is a real drag when the people at the counter dont at least pretend to be happy that they're working. And it disturbs me that I'm usually the one wishing the person to have a good day. I think its a bit programed in from the short time I was working as a cashier... but really... it doesnt take any effort to put a smile on your face and say "Have a nice day!". Unless maybe you're dieing from cancer or something.
And while it doesnt seem related... I've had alot of people assume my favorite color is black lately... And that bothers me a bit cause generally when a person says their favorite color is black, they also think they're going to hell and life isnt worth living (depression depression depression). Well... I probably AM going to hell... and life can be pretty damn boring some times... but its not that bad, but I dont try to come off as one of those people... but maybe I do... For the record... my favortie color is Blue. But if I seem like a black person... why the hell am I the one to wish someone a good day.
Another thing that bothers me... Just for ranting sake.... I've been reading the local free paper for a while now (its the one that concentrates on local events and completely ignores the ones outside the city and comes free with your mail each wednesday) Now... I realize that being free and all... they dont have to produce much. But a few examples... the teen column that they have (which I read just to wind myself up) generally lacks any point at all. The last one I read started by talking about trying to be positive, transitioned into talking about some protest on the other side of the world, where monks are dieing, and that I havent even heard of!, and then ends, lacking any point at all. Ya huh... Miss Teen Beat. You might know about some lack of revolution in Asia. But I know that it will be over in about two weeks after all the monks are dead, and the general population isnt going to care about it. Unless of course it evolves into a civil war where the monks start throwing nuclear powered grenades. The other column that ticked me off was the one a doctor had written. It started out talking about stress and listed all sorts of nasty things that can arise from to much stress and ended with a "Stress is bad" kind of feel. I looked to see if the story continued onto another page somewhere.... but no.... it just kinda build up my anxiety and left me hanging. Oh My God! Your leg is infected with flesh eating disease that could possibly kill you! So I'm going to go check out this other guy now. Bye. I think thats part of the reason why I shouldnt read newspapers. I'm not saying I could write a better column, but for a newspaper that is meant to educate the public... I would expect most of the stories to have a point. Thats one thing I did learn from english. If your going to write an essay, dont start by talking about character development and end by talking about how the setting influences the story when the whole essay is suppose to be about the political commentary. Pick a topic. Stick with your topic. See it though.
I also think alot when I'm busy.... See what happens when I think alot?

KKKKK... So... I did something to my left wrist again so now it hurts when I bend it a certain way. I think it might just be a strain... but its really effing annoying when you go to move your wrist a certain way (which I seem to be doing alot while trying to post) and it screams in pain. It was really bad last night while I tried to sleep... and I dont see it stopping with the ow for a while.
And on the topic of stuff... I went to the theater a few weeks back. Went to see Mr. Bean's Vacation. Very funny by the way... but not the point. King # 2 and I took the bus down, ate at subway and then walked to the theater. So... we left Subway before we could wash our hands as they were closing. So we both went to wash our hands after we got our tickets for the movie. So... I'm sure its happened to other people where, you go to wash your hands and it takes forever for the water to warm up. Well... the water that came out (and I only had the hot tap on so no excuses.) was freezing cold. I waited for a moment and gave up when the water got colder.
I understand that people are all Energy-conservy right now... But for the love of god! The water heater was invented for a reason. I would be happy if the water was room temperature. But after walking to the theatre on a cool night... I did not want to wash my hands with cold water. I had a more vicious rant thought up... But my wrist is bugging me... Maybe I need to cut my arm off at the elbow.
So anyway... I promised pictures. I'm not really in the mood to explain them all as most of them are of animals and I think they dont need that much on an explanation. Although I did steal some pics from King # 2... so I'll point out the ones he took.
These birds kept flying at the glass... I dont think they really liked being right by the door.
This guy was in with the crazy birds. I think he was a bit scared from all the flying and flapping.
I luff giraffs...
*pet pet pet*
The fishies were in with the hippos to clean the tank... sadly they also blocked most of the pictures.
The best pic I could get of the hippo... who insisted on hiding in the water.
Hakuna matata.
Second picie from K#2 cause as you can see... the fence was in my way.
Very colorful and very big... he was also pretty cool.
This one looked very fake cause the colors were just so amazing... We think it was a girl cause she was really fat.
Lemur!
Ahhhh... it was a pretty bird...
Monkey monkey monkey. It was funny how the gorillas were able to just ignore all the people gawking at them. But I guess they have alot of practice.
Wild dowgs... Moo.
The kangaroos. Very cute and very lazy... no jumping at all.
And my fuzzy wallaby... Alot of the animals were behind windows so some of the pictures wouldnt turn out no matter how hard I tried... I think I tried to take 6 or 7 pictures of this guy and with him moving around alot on top of having to photo through the glass... I gave up after this pic.
I completly forget what kind of animal this is... but it's one of those animals that would sit still for a photo. I was pretty impressed with my timing on this one.
Pretty Pretty...
There were actually peacocks running around out loose in the zoo. Pretty cool except they didnt have any big tail feathers.
All I can say is 6 foot wing spand. I wouldnt want one of them following me when I was getting ready to bite the dust.
This monkey kept pretending to be asleep... which was pretty cute.
And THESE monkies kept jumping around and stuff... I got a few videos but I need to edit them to remove the tone of my annoying voice.
Second pic from K#2. His camera is a bit better so it takes clearer pictures when the animals are moving. I really liked these guys cause they're so small and fuzzy and adorable.
Moo...
These monkies were really cute too. They had a few babies in the enclosure and I think they could have fit in my hand, they were so small.
Tigger.
Owl.
Burrowing owl. These little guys are actually endangered due to loss of their habitat. They're really small (about the size of a kitten) and very cute.
Two of the blad eagles were actually yelling at each other when we walked by them. That or just talking... they're weren't very loud in comparison to how loud they can be...
A Cougar... I've read that cougars are actually more dangerous than bears as they will stalk humans as prey and they arent turned off by dead meat... So you cant play dead if they attack you...
A north american porcupine... much shorter quills than the african ones...
One of the lions at the zoo... the majority of the pride was hiding at the far corner of the exhibit so it was hard to get pictures of them.
A bear... I think this was a cinnimon bear... But it was in with the brown bears.
And lastly... a goose... Not from the zoo... but we visited a park the next day and it was a good picture.
And thats my zoo pictures... and Im still alive... fyi

Hahahahaha... I'm officially on vacation...
And I had a dream about weird stuff last night.
It was an epiphany.
It involved me learning where dreams come from.
Which happens to be due to dosages of stuff that were given unknowingly by higher powers.
And the higher powers really like candy.
And now Im going to have a bath...
For more information on these higher powers send me a cheque of 19.97 and Ill send you a 50 cent pamphlet. :D
