So... Lets go

Day 1 (AKA Saturday)

Didnt sleep... At all. Stayed up after work to pack, do laundry... uhhhh... what ever all was on that list I posted. I didnt get to clean my room or have a nap... I ended up spending (aka wasting) alot of my free time that day on the comp... In the end I caught the city bus down to the Greyhound Bus station. Had a nice talk with a woman at the stop... Had a nice chat with a gentleman on the walk to the Station... I think when Im really tired and not able to think very well... I have a sign on my forehead that says "Talk to me". Thats the only way to explain what happened on the ride DOWN to C-town. A young gentleman (AKA guy) insisted I sit beside him and talk to him on the way down... Uhhh... yeah.... I made a friend... Zanorich knows the whole OTHER part to that story... Got to C-town. Was thankful Zanorich wasnt late... Hopped in the car and went back to his place where I pretty much crashed and didnt wake up for a few hours. I think we both napped... but Im not sure...

Day 2 (AKA Day One of Otafest)

Woke up and got ready... Zanorich pretty much bared me from the black makeup but let me dress up in black... So that made me happy. Went down to meet Zanorich's friend Alithstire... I had talked to him a few times on MSN... First thing he says isnt "Hi... Im J... Nice to meet you..." nor... "Hello..." Nope... I got the comment of "Your Short!" I was a bit surprised at that... Every one else gave him the "Thats all you can say" Look/lecture and I laughed. Then bugged him about it. For a while. Cause it was funny. Anyway... Finally left for Otafest... got there around 2ish or so... Ran into a few of Zanorich's other friends right away. Found Kat... Met J number 2... We couldnt do anything till we registered so we went and got passes... The group kept breaking up and re-developing... people would run off to go do something then show up again later on... quite fun... anyway... I went with Zanorich, J#2, Alithstire, Acanous (who we ran into at some point... I was a bit preoccupied watching all the cos-play and talking to people), and a few other people to go look in the vender's room ((of course XP)). We spent a fair bit of time in there... Zanorich spent most of it drooling over the video games table... I spent most of it trying not to get lost in the tables of shiney and cute things XP We eventually left the vendor's room (that was only visit one to the place of bright and colorful merchandise)... Met back up with T (Zanorich's room-mate and provider of transportation, not to mention a really cool lady), Kat and Kat's dad Fluffy (dont ask... I didnt)... Stopped for food and such... As some of us hadnt eaten since the previous day... Went back to the vendor's room for a bit to drop some more cash... Left there to go watch an anime called Rune Soldier... Very very funny... I loved it... went back out to wander some more (we did that alot). In the end Zanorich, T and I went back home for a bit as our feet were getting tired... We rested up a bit then headed over to Kat's place for a night of Anime goodness... The grounp consisted of Kat, Alithstire, J#2, Zanorich and I... Zanorich crashed early as he was tired and getting to the point where he couldnt keep his eyes open. I went with Alithstire and J#2 to the Mac's store and bought coffee and skittles... Went back and watched some more anime while Zanorich slept... We all hit the stupid tired point and started making comments about Yoda and reading words on the anime wrong ((We were watching it with sub-titles... so you can imagine what fun that was at 3 in the morning...)) Anyway... We all passed out when we decided the anime wasnt moving fast enough and there wasnt enough fan service... End Day 2

Day 3 (AKA Day Two of Otafest)

Woke up a few times... starting at 6 or 7... kept doing the wake up then fall asleep thing... Finally officially woke up when Kat got up at 9:30... Helped her wake up the boys... I woke up J#2 via pillow to the head while Kat tickled Alithstire till he woke up.... I let her wake up Zanorich as he had to put up with me during the night.... I think I kept pushing him away cause it was too hot to sleep next to him... We ended up heading back to the con at about 10 or so... watched Full Metal Panic first thing... I thought that one was funny to... Though it was the begining of the second season... so I was missing a bit of the info as to what was happening. Went off to wander some more (told you we did alot of that)... We eventually went to go watch a live action show called Iron Cosplay.... Kinda like Iron Cheaf (sp?) but instead of cooking... people had to make a costume... Very funny and worth the wait and having to endure the over-excited room host... She liked to jump in front of people as they tired to walk out and tell them to sit down... I was scared to go to the washroom... Anyway.... The teams were given 15 minutes to make a costume, they were allowed to do a skit in the end... and the theme was magical person... it was very funny in the end... although we had to restrain Kat at one point... one young man dressed up as Cloud from Advent Children... Kat and I decided he was no where near as angsty as he needed to be... Kat wanted to punish him for his lack of angst... He had been one of the teams for Iron Cosplay and had somewhat stupidly wrapped his head in duct tape.... He then let people from the audience help take the duct tape off... That made Kat happy and I laughed so hard my eyes started to water... We figure he may have lost a bit of skin... after that we went and watched a few more animes... Saw Burst Angel which was amazing... I wish I had picked up the sound track... after that we went to a comedy improve thing... It was ok but I've seen better and got bored at some points... Alithstire took part in one of the things which made him happy... At this point we had a group of about 15 people.... some were friends of Zanorich's and others were friends of friends... We all ended up leaving around 6ish and went for sushi..... First time I've had it and I liked it alot... considering the manager of the resturant was very funny... Gave out free pocky to the women... Also tried Sake... which was interesting... Im not sure if I liked it or not... but it was different... After Sushi A bunch of us wet back to Kat's place to watch Advent Children.... A few of them had tried to watch it at the con but a bunch of crazy fans ruined the viewing... I ended up falling asleep as I was sleepy and had already seen it twice... Woke up and went back to Zanorich's house and fell back asleep

Rest of the Week.

Pretty much just hung out the rest of the week... Didnt get to the zoo... but that was due to our own lazyness... Visited with Rockybaby one day... It was really good to see her again... ANYWAY... Pretty much the rest of the week was sleep and hanging out.... Zanorich didnt try to kill me to often.... so thats a good sign I think...

Picked up the full Neo Ranga box set, A Trigun CD (very good except I cant understand the japanese skits), The first +Anime manga, and two little toys for my sisters.

Zanorich bought me the two from Tokyo Mew Mew and Belldandy... And gave me the Invader Zim one... I bought the other three.... yay!!
I also bought some food and stuff... didnt get pictures of that though... To lazy....
I also picked up a keychain for Afro which I need to send to him... that was the first pruchase I made oddly...

And thats my trip in a nutshell... I dont think I missed anything important... So much happened that I cant remember it all.... I can say this was the best time Ive had since the Swollen Members concert... but that was different.... this was fun just to go out and meet people and hang out.... I had an amazing time...
