A Million Ways- OK Go
I honestly feel like I have nothing to say... been looking at the post box for a good 45 minutes right now and all I have is lyrics...
I could talk about Stampede.... fairly good day.... Left at about 11 in the morning and got there at 12ish or so... Had to endure near Tokyo conditions on the C-Train ((inner city transport))... Had to endure large crowds and lines for the rides at the Stampede.... which wasnt so bad as there was only really one ride that I didnt like.... went on it but I was very quiet afterwards... which was assumed to be due to anger toward certain people... it was more I just dont like rides that scare me that much... and Im not a fan of being upside down... Spent the day with Zanorich, Jon, Nate, and Kat.... Broke off to go look at pretty stuff for a while with Kat and let the boys go play at the casino... Ate fair foods... which were grossly overpriced... but worth it anyway... got a slight sunburn... which is easy to do when your as white as death... its actually the not burning thats hard... so Im happy I was only slightly pink by the end of the night... I had a few flash backs to when I burned really bad last year and could hardly move for a while... Saw OLP... well... "saw"... it was a standing only crowd.... and we were about 75 to 100 yards back... which adds up to alot of heads in your way... expecially when 95% of the heads are over yours... so most of the concert was just heard.... saw some flashy lights and the drummer by the end when some people had cleared away.... But there were people climbing trees and fences and stuff to get a better view... Jay showed up just before the concert and lifted Nate up onto his shoulders at one point.... So if I can get the few pics from Jon ((cause it was his phone we used :P))... I might have pics from that at one point.... Headed home after the concert and fireworks... Nearly got in a fight at one point as there were alot of people at the Stampede and some were quite irritable... managed to get away with only a few nasty words exchanged ((when I say a few I mean it was at the point where if we weren't restraining our half of the group... theres a good chance a large fight would have broken out...))... rode the C-train back home... which was once again like tokyo... Scared a few people on the train as a few people in our group, including myself, decided that a good topic of discussion was torture techniques... and in a crowded train... it adds to the entertainment.... one guy and his girlfriend thought we were funny and another girl seemed like she was going to panic trying to get off the train... But a comment from her leads to the possibility that she may have been under the influence of some questionable chemicals... but that lead to some laughs as we got off the train... Im sure Zanorich is shaking his head right about now just remembering it.... it was a fairly good day in retrospect... a few things came up that made it unpleasent at the time.... but nothing that couldnt be sorted out later.... And that was the Stampede...
