It's a matter of instinct, it's a matter of conditioning,
it's a matter of fact.
You can call me Pavlov's dog.
Ring a bell and I'll salivate. How'd you like that?

So.... Yesterday started off ok.... My wireless net connection JUST reaches to my room so it kept going on and off.... A bit of a pain when your trying to talk on MSN.... But I just need to learn to find one spot where it works well and quit moving.... overall... I quite like sitting in my bed and talking to people.... even if it isnt always as comfortable as I would like it.... so... I think the way it started was I was playing aroung on Retrojunk.com.... very fun site if you grew up watching all the good cartoons of the 80s and 90s.... lots of good memories.... for some reason I moved from there to youtube.com... now.... I tend to avoid the self made video blogs that people do.... Im just not interested.... Some catch my attention like the one I posted a while back.... but I usually sift through them to find the music videos or AMVs.... For what ever reason I clicked on one of the video blogs... which lead to a different blog.... which lead to a blog that was from the same person and posted earlier.... blagh blagh blagh... ETC ETC.... I think by the time I was done watching the one set of about 10 videos I had gone through like.... two weeks of this chicks life... and it was only concerning this little issue she had with her guy friend.... The style wasnt really all that eye catching.... The girl was kinda annoying after the second video.... ((way to happy and chipper and.... odd... and..... stupid....)) and it was kinda like watching a soap opera.... except it was weirder than that.... Part of me wondered what possessed her to even post the videos.... video blog are one thing "Today I walked to the store and bought milk"... But.... some of the content... one of the videos was her and her friend having a fight..... I just dont see why she would post it for the whole world to see... I'm even more confused why I kept watching... I dont know the girl... I dont care.... I think she needs to grow some common sense.... but anyway.... in the end... combined with chatting and going on a major downloading binge... I spent about 4 or 5 hours wasting time...

Went to work and that was all good.... Its decided that Im color blind and racist when it comes to shelves.... Zellers has five different colors of shelving ((Walmart has like.... 2... Less colors ARE easier))... Sections are color coordinated with black, white, grey, peach (dark tan) and off-white (light tan or eggshell if you will) shelving.... and to make it even more complex they have different sizes... 3 foot and 4 foot shelves... Braces for the shelves are even more messed up as there are different types, sizes AND colors. As I was working in beding... the shelves are either white or off-white... I needed a shelf for an end I was working on... when to the back to get the shelf.... I only needed ONE shelf.... and 6 braces as they can double to hold merchandice on the shelves for stuff like pillows and blankets.... so I go back... grab a shelf.... and a few braces' wander back out.... Bruce made a joke about it being the right color and I said something about that being a racist statment.... (( I had a similar converstation with Percy about the size of the selves a month or two back))... He just laughed and went back to work and I wandered back out to where I had been working.... hold up the shelf... and realize I grabbed a dark tan one.... going BACK to the stock room I just looked at Bruce and said "No it WASNT the right color". He laughed at me again and I felt a small twitch develop... Spent about 10 minutes looking for another shelf that was the right color and right size.... couldnt find one... didnt even bother with the braces.... went back out and looked around for an extra shelf that may have been left out on the floor.... finally found one... took it down... carried it back to the end I was working on.... found out it was the wrong size..... Had to put that shelf back.... got yet ANOTHER shelf... Finally was able to finsh the end... Something that should have taken 10 minutes took 30.... which just annoyed me a fair bit.... The whole place would be alot more easier to set up if the shelves were a) the same color and b) the same size.... the store would look alot better too... I was standing at one spot and all the shelves were different colors.... it looked like crap. [/pointlessrant]

On another note... We got another new guy at work.... looks like he might stick around for a while... And hes cool to talk to.... I quite like him in fact....
