Yeah yeah, more poetry today. Well, this is a bit less bitchy than my last few posts.

Bones are broken
But I’m still fighting
Blood is flying
But I’m still smiling
You can crush my body
But you’ll never crush my soul

Don’t you come here
Pretending you’re there for me
Don’t you act like
You’ve never lied to me
Don’t think I forgot
How you betrayed me
Don’t you ever
Let me see you again

Don’t think I can win
But I can’t afford to lose
And I’m so lost
Naked and confused

Lost on the waves
Of a midnight sea
I sit and I wonder
If you’re waiting for me
The nights we share
Those memories are dear
But still I weep
Because you’re never here
