Not much of interest...
Well... I KNOW I've been ignoring the little nagging voice in the back of my head that keeps saying "POST SOMETHING ALREADY!" but I really haven't had anything to say. But I decided to say something anyway.
As far as submissions go, I'm going to post the next page of Halfmetal Alchemist probably next week. I made a new gypsy picture the other day... it's Cassiopeia! I think it's my best so far. I got these nice new pens (they're not the ones I was saving up for, but they were on sale at walmart so I used my giftcard) and I used them to ink and colour it. And hence...IT'S NOT SMUDGED! But I bet it'll still look like it when I scan it in. You just wait. I also started to make a cover page for the gypsy manga... I'm thinking of calling it "Sand and Sky" but only because I couldn't come up with anything better.
In random stuff, for swing dancing I eventually was forced to dance with Blake... and...as much as it pains me to say this, he's... really good at dancing. He didn't go to fast or too slow and he knew how to do all the spins properly and everything. And he acted civilized. I was shocked. We started doing a move called The Fan, which is when you do a Double Wrap, and then the guy picks you up and you kick out both your legs, then you...land gracefully. Oh, and did I mention that all of the guys in my class are incredibly SHORT? There are only about three who are taller than me. Jake, this annoying loud guy who's like a head and a half taller, was my partner when we were doing the fan. You'd think that would be good, because he's strong. But no. Although he is, in fact, pretty strong, he dropped me four times. And he only picked me up five times. FOUR TIMES! And I landed on the same foot. Then he tried to get out of dancing with me because "She's injured, Mr. Fisher!" But ironically, Blake, who's like one cm shorter than me, could pick me up perfectly. He's like a bug. Very high proportional strength ratio.
And I also got Kelas on my MP3 player. Yaaaay...

They're up...
I'm at school again, with permission again. I'm going to be in the lab every recess all week, I guess. Except earlier today at first recess there was an Animal Rights Group meeting I had to go to. My team is going to work on posters regarding how pollution and litter affect the environment. There are only three grade sevens in the whole thing, so we feel sort of alienated by all the grade eights.
Aside from that, my pictures and pages are up finally! Actually they came up as soon as I submitted last night's post... but I had to get off right then, so I couldn't say anything. Despite all these new submissions, the only new comment I got was on my very first submission, "Isabelle with a gun". I was happy to get a comment, as always, but it was just from my brother. Sigh... I can't beleive Dan still hasn't even turned on his profile yet. I keep nagging him to, but he doesn't listen. I don't know why he even got an account here. He's only commented on my pictures, he doesn't do any art himself and he's not interested in posting on his site either. He mostly edits his little video clips and plays computer games, when he's not studying or sleeping. What a pair of siblings we are, huh?
I realize that I've done a lot of talking about the things I hate drawing.
1. hands
2. animals
3. real people
4. buildings
5. books
6. guys of any kind
Bell rang. I've gotta go.

Postage!
Gypsy song...Gypsy song...Gypsy so- Oh, what? Sorry, I was just being OBSESSED... Any way, I posted THREE manga pages and two fanart...things. today! But the #@&% things haven't shown up here yet. I can't wait until they do. I finished page 7 today! I'm going super-fast all of a sudden. I'm not going to post it until I get some more comments on the pages that are already posted, though. Tomorrow I get to find out about that big project... YAY! I'm thinking of doing some research on gypsies soon also. And and and... I made a cover page for The Silenced. But I'm not posting it anywhere yet, because there aren't any pages to go with it. But I've re-drawn Imke in this really cool sketchy style. I can't wait to get my hands on some professional markers, which I'm saving up for.

Who the heck I'm talking about.
It has come to my rather slow-moving attention that nobody has any idea who I'm talking about when I mention members of my class. So without providing enough info for the stalkers among you, I'm going to tell you all a bit about some of them. I'll go with the most recently mentioned ones first:
Megan: It's frightening how perfect she is. She's like a super-genius, everyone likes her and she's good at sports. It's a miracle if she ever gets a question wrong. I would hate her guts if she wasn't also extremely nice. Who, me? Jealous?
Meaghan: She's fairly average when it comes to smartness, but she's the most popular girl in the class and all that. She's not even evil, she's nice. Expensive clothes, good insults, people do what she says.
Averie: Now SHE's the evil one. Well sometimes. To me. Meaghan's best friend. Major Ego. She brags about her American Eagle and Garage clothes all the time, but she's pretty darn smart (but I'm better at French than her). She can be extremely mean when she wants to be, and she's obsessed with guys half the time. SOMETIMES she's ALMOST my friend.
Brittani: Nice...but has a history of not-so-nice. She's my friend, and is very...energetic. Like, obsessive. And she gets annoying sometimes. Sometimes she's part of Meghan's group, sometimes not. But we had a lot of backstabbing trouble with her last year. Seems like she's okay now, but I'm being careful around her just the same.
Sandy: She only came to my class this year, so I don't know that much about her, but she's nice. Sometimes she hides my pencil case from me. This irritates me. But she's never done anything seriously mean, so she's basically my friend.
Blake: ANNOYING. And he's stupid, too. But he is strong. and also short. I've been able to hold that over him for a long time...but he went and grew a ton, so now I'm only like half an inch taller than him. We hate each other... in a joking kind of way.
That's all for now...I'll add more later.
Apart from that... I HAVE THE LYRICS TO THE FMA GYPSY SONG!!! Kelas. Here they be.
Niiji no wayeh grats, gaivahn
Niiji no wayeh grats, gaivahn
Gaivahn, gaivahn, gaivahn, gaivahn, gaivahn...
Niiji no wayeh grats, gaivahn
Niiji no wayeh grats, gaivahn
Gaivahn, gaivahn, gaivahn, gaivahn, gaivahn...
Niiji no wayeh grats gaikenah
Lala la lai, lala la lai,
lala la lai, lala la lai, la la la
Niji no wayeh grats gaikenah
Lala la lai, lala la lai, lala la lai, lala la lai, la la la
Jabuji nitou, viriparten goerats, diriparten goerats
Niiji no wayeh grats gaikenah
Lala la lai, lala la lai,
lala la lai, lala la lai, la la la
Nijii no wayeh grats gaikenah
Lala la lai, lala la lai, lala la lai, lala la lai, la la la
Jabuji nitou, viriparten goerats, diriparten goerats
I just love that song... I'm listening to it right now. Lala la lai lala la lai lalala lai la...
I'm finished up to page 6 of Halfmetal Alchemist, but it will still be a while till it's up since my brother is cramming for exams. Oh well. You know, it's strange. All the people who comment on my submissions have never commented on my posts, and all the people who comment on my posts have never commented on my submissions. I guess different people use the site for different things...

**SNIFF** But yay!
REALLY... BAD...COLD. But at least I get to stay in for recess and use the computer. I'm on the school network again, but this time I have permission. Guess what? I finished page 4... AND PAGE 5! All in one day! And I've started on page 6. I'm really making progress. They should be up REALLY soon, I just gotta scan them. And I also found FMA chapter 79! But unfortunately I can't remember the address... just google "free fullmetal alchemist manga" and it's on like the third page. Happiness... but extreme nasal congestion... One more ultra happy thing, we're doing another project in class, where we make a scale model of our school, and then we redesign the yard. We actually are going to redesign the yard, so we're going to be doing a lot of surveying, not just the kids, but the PTA and the Town Council! Scary but exciting. Even better, we're in groups of three, and there's a Director of each group. My group is Candice, James and I. Not bad, since I get to be the director. There are also three directors who direct the whole class. So all the directors from all the groups went into the hall while the rest of the class voted. Guess who they picked?
Megan, the class genius
Meaghan (there's 2), the most popular girl
AND ME!!!
I'm so happy!!!!!!!!

Sneaky sneaky...
Yeah, I'm at school. I feel kinda sick still today, but not sick enough to go home (plus I ordered pizza for lunch so I wanna stick around until then) So I decided to stay inside for recess. Technically, nobody said I could, but nobody said I could , but nobidy said I couldn't either. In my mind, that's permission. Heh heh... I worked on page 4 yesterday, but it's still not done. We had the dreaded swing dancing lessons today. There were two circles: The guys (plus two unlucky girls) and the actual girls. We rotated partners, and consequentially I danced with three guys. Yes, ME. Duncan, James and Jake. I almost had to dance with Blake, but then it was my turn to be a "guy", so I got to skip that and dance with Candice (best friend) instead. PHEW... I'd never forgive myself if I had to dance with Blake. Ugh.
I found out my group for the newspaper project! Instead of working with two idiots, I get to work with Brittani and Sandy, who are pretty smart and pretty co-operative. The trouble is that I think I'm being way too bossy to Brittani. (Yeah, that is the actual way she spells her name) I have trouble with being bossy. I always NEED to get my way, no matter what. I don't want to have to compromise what I want to do. But I guess I'm going to have to. Recess will probably be over soon so I have to remember what I was going to say. Ummm...
I got nothin' .

Gypsies...everywhere...
Still no Halfmetal. I really think I am just gonna go for random illegible lines. But what I HAVE been working on is gypsy-related stuff. I've decided to use names derived from stars. The one that I posted, her name is Capella. I just drew a picture the other day of her perky-happy little sister Andromeda, and it's full colour. I do believe that it's pretty good. It had better be, it took like three quarters of my mahogany-coloured pencil crayon. It was all broken up inside so every time I sharpened it it would just break again. AAARRRGGGHHH! But the result was almost worth it. Almost. I also drew another picture of Capella, only it reveals her secret... Her spine is made of Auto-mail! I thought that was a pretty cool idea. You know what Ed can do with his auto-mail arm, making it into that spear thing with alchemy? Well, Capella's auto-mail has lots of extra metal plating on the outside, so she can use alchemy, using the connections through her nerves, to change the outer plating into great big sharp spikes that she can stab people with and stuff. So she can retract them, make them serrated, ultra-sharp, things like that.
Well, I thought it was cool.

Fixage.
IT'S A SNOW DAY!!! BUSES ARE CANCELLED! WOOHOO!
And what am I doing? Well, I'm sitting here and typing, aren't I?
Well I removed that quiz result, and it seems to have fixed everything... But now it's not there because I removed it. And I wanted to keep it. But I'm not really good with HTML and I'm too lazy to take the course. I learned a bit when I was like 8, but I forget it all now. So I'm mostly just a cut-and-paste-er. But at least I've memorized the hex colour for maroon- 990033. It's weird. My favourite colour is purple, but I tried that on here and it looks really ugly.
Aside from that... I made a great little comic -have I mentioned it before? I always forget- called "The Adventures of Super-Ed", but it's too big for my scanner! I think they have a bigger one at the school, so I might be able to use it...But they'll want to know what I need it for and then they won't let me. There's also one at the library, but you have to pay to use it. It might be only 20 cents, but it might be alot more. I forget. I've decided not to draw The Silenced until I get some actual professional manga markers and pens. I've been using mechanical pencils and Crayola junk, aside from the precious few solid-color pencil crayons I do have. So it'll be a while, folks. I've decided on a name for the gypsy girl. I'm gonna name all the gypsies after stars. I was looking at a starchart yesterday because my brother had to find Polaris outside for his science homework and I was helping, and I remembered that a lot of the names from Harry Potter come from stars. Regulus, Arcturus, Sirius, Andromeda, Bellatrix... The Empress has wisely suggested that I use a name with "ell" in it, so right there we've got Bellatrix. But I don't want to use the EXACT same names as HP, so I was thinking of using Capella instead. But I don't really know all the legends that go with the stars, so that might actually be a guy's name. Does anybody know? I also decided that she has lots of sisters, and also lives with lots of other gypsies who are basically but not biologically her sisters, and I'm definitely naming one of them Andromeda. I think that's an awesome name.
I've been testing out my watercolour pencils lately. They're great. I like making desert scenes...So the yellow pencil is a lot smaller than the other ones. In school we're about to start -yet another- huge project, this time in the form of group newspapers. GROUPS. Ohh, how I hate group work. They just better let me be the editor and the cartoonist. Actually, I just know they'll put me in a group with either Blake, James, Nicholas, Jake or Duncan, all of which I hate, and they'll probably contribute nothing but crap and make me do all the work. But that's what I usually do anyway... and I do love writing. I got a 95 in it on my report card. In gym we're doing the annual dance unit. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!! SWING DANCE LESSONS. IN PARTNERS. But at least nobody's FORCING us to dance with guys. That's probably only because there aren't enough to go around. And it's still better than doing hiphop last year.
This year we'll at least have half-decent music. But swing dancing involves lifting people. I can't lift anybody...and nobody who I'm willing to touch can lift me. The only people who probably could are Jake and Blake (heh, it rhymes!), but I'm not dancing with them. Never. Ever. It's not like they'd ever ask me anyway... which is good. There are benefits to being a geek.
