   Fanart!
I posted more fanart!! Just one thing... and I drew it yesterday. I really like it. It's not TOO badly smudged. I did my best to clean it up by hand before scanning it. The scanner was briefly hooked up yesterday, but it was disconnected again today. I still haven't finished that other page though. BUT I started and almost finished a NEW little comic thing (just a one pager) and I'm on the last panel. I'll only give you guys the title: The Adventures of Super-Ed!! It should be posted sometime this week. As for the Halfmetal Alchemist page... that'll take a while. I'm sorry. Yesterday, I couldn't come on here because I had to finish my project on tornadoes- In French!! Oh how I hate geography... Tomorrow I'll be back at school with my friends again. That should be fun... except for the fact that I'll have to do my Powerpoint Presentation first thing in the morning. Oh man, I forgot about that. It's about Elizabethan Entertainments and Punishments. I'm gonna have to skip breakfast so I don't puke. Do you know what they DID to people in the 1500's??? If you don't, you don't want to.

Now, I gotta check to see if my fanart is up yet. Hopefully it's not cut off. :D

   Ouch ouch ouch...
Why ouch? Because I have a sore throat. And I didn't work on my manga at all today. On the plus side it was only -3 today so I went downtown with my brother and went to the library. I got R.O.D out, and I'm aaaallllmmmooossstt finished it. I just got home and was reading it a bit and then I came on here. It's kinda...ahh, how to put this nicely? Oh yes... boring. For three sisters with magical powers, they lead surprisingly dull lives. And HOW could they possibly make a living from BOOK-RELATED mysteries only? They must get about...what, three cases a year? But I don't completely hate it, I just expected something a little bit cooler. The TITLE is really cool. But Michelle is a moron. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover... It's okay though. The whole alien sequence is pretty stupid. But then, I'm really narrow-minded. So whatever you do, don't set any store by what I'm saying. Holy oxymoron...

Oh, and today, for no apparent reason, I'm gonna introduce to you...The Flappy Ears Club! It's just my list of people with big, protruding flappy ears. Here are some totally unsuspecting members:
Jason Spezza, Prince Charles, Dumbo, the guy from Rachel's manga (none of you will know who he is, but that's okay because you probably don't care). If you know of anyone else who should join, feel free to give me suggestions. The list is growing all the time. LOL.

   It appears that I'm gonna be bored all weekend too.
I CAN'T GET RID OF THIS STUPID BOREDOM! Aargh. And I also can't find anywhere that has FMA chapter 79 and up. But I've seen posts around the internet that say "warning- spoilers 79+", so somebody must know where they are! Unless they're just the people with access to shonen gangan... I wish I did. So if anyone has a good source for me, feel free... My pathetic internet can't run youtube videos, and I can't think of anything else to do. Plus it's -23 degrees Celsius today. And I had to walk to the store to get milk. I'm gonna have to finish my project for school this weekend too, and somehow finish that page, even though the unfinished part is a newspaper clipping and I don't know what to put in it. Do you think I could get away with some random lines that look vaguely like writing? I'm getting really sick of working on that same page.

On a happier note... I'm thinking of changing my avatar to this picture that Rachel drew of me. (Thank you, rae!) The only problem is, once again, the scanner, and also it's on lined paper. But I really like it, so I think that I will. As long as the Empress over there doesn't object.
SO...BORED... NEED... CHAPTER...79... NOW...

   Almost done the next page.
Much less bored today. Just really, really cold. Canadian winters get scarily cold sometimes. As the title says, I'm almost done page 4 of Halfmetal. I just have to fill in one more thing. This page...took for EVER, and once it's up, you'll see why. There are five whole pictures of Winry. But that's not why. Also it might take a bit longer to post because my brother unhooked the scanner while he was cleaning his room. So if he doesn't put it back soon, then I'll just have to try the digital camera method, which I've never used for posting things. So it might be even worse looking than the other pages. Or it might not be. But it should be up within about a week...unless something goes wrong, and you can bet that something will. Plus I'll have less time because school starts again next week. Oh, how I love vacations... But they all must end. So sad...

   Boredom corners you in a deserted shack where no one can hear you scream.
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. But I'm running out of stamina for drawing my manga today. I sat down and tried to draw... and the pencil decided to smite me with mental block... even though I already knew what I was supposed to be drawing. I ended up just tracing a picture out of volume 14 of FMA to get myself moving again. But that didn't help much. Somehow I now find myself at the computer typing madly next to a growing stack of chocolate wrappers. Mmm, chocolate. I've been searching just about everything I can think of, and none of the manga sites I like have been updated yet. CURSE YOU, WWW.MANGAVOLUME.COM! Well, I'm glad they exist, I just wish they would exist faster. And I also wish I had a laptop with highspeed instead of a PC with dial-up. So sad.
But it works. Thank goodness for that. Just like mangavolume, it should still exist, it should just exist faster. I think that's my new motto. Aside from Huzzah, koopla, and various other random things. I didn't do much at all today, not even take a shower. But I actually feel okay. Just really lazy. Yay for Christmas vacation! I don't know how I would survive winter without it. I finished a song yesterday, and I started another one. The first one is called "When she breaks, she shatters" and the other one is called "this is my world". I like them. Isn't that useless, I'm not gonna give them to you, just tell you their names? Too bad for you... unless you don't care. Or there's nobody reading this anyway. But somebody COULD be reading it! So I'm gonna keep writing it! Just not right now. For now I must confront my mortal enemy...boredom...

   Holy scanning!
Man, I just spent hours of my Christmas scanning all of the art I meant to post ages ago. I was doing my best to photoshop out all the smudging, but... Okay, I think I really am hopeless. They don't look that bad before I scan them!! BUT guess what I got for Christmas? The FMA profiles book!! It's soo awesome that I've already read it three times. Now I can memorize lots of trivia!! And I'll also get better at drawing Ed and his automail. I finally managed to draw Ed in a way that he looks like a human being! And I updated my fan Manga and posted more art too. I hope I get more comments on it soon... (Hint, hint)

   Finally finished reading...
I can't believe I finally finished reading all 72 chapters of Fullmetal Alchemist today... I read them on www.readmanga.com. Now I shall no longer fear spoilers! um... does anybody know a site that has more chapters? I'm seriously deprived of manga now, and it was a total cliffie. But man is it ever good. I wish I had all the volumes. I get them from the library, but they only have up to #9 and I have to wait for my brother to bring them home for me. I'm still working on the next page of Halfmetal, but it got pencil shavings on it, so chances are high that we're looking at some severe smudgeage in the future. I really tried hard to not smudge it! It's inevitable. All my paper hates me. My gluestick is psycho, you know. It's TRUE! It hates me and everyone who uses it. It hates all my art and geometry projects. It goes out of its way to be lumpy and causes me to put it in the wrong place and get my fingers all sticky. Then I smudge things. IT'S NOT MY FAULT! Did I already say that I drew a picture of Winry? Because I did. And I might post it soon. But it's getting crumpled in my backpack. AM I REALLY THAT HOPELESS?!?!? But I'm finally done reading! I'm so proud of myself... and my friend is still on chapter 10... meh heh heh...

   My Manga that DOES exist!!!
It's up! My OC FMA manga is finally up! None of you are aware of the awful process with which it was made. Snake Chimera presents to you:
HOW HALFMETAL ALCHEMIST WAS MADE!

Step one: First I sat down and invented Isabelle. In the beginning, I thought that, since Ed's an atheist, it would be funny if Winry couldn't take care of her, so she was raised by nuns. So she would be all preachy and stuff...But then I decided I preferred the loud and rule-bending alchemist which we shall soon come to know.

Step two: I had to draw it. First I drew Isabelle standing in a really cool pose. Then I added a backround. Then I decided to make it into a little story thing. (This was before I knew about this website)

Step Three: I became a member here, and decided to seriously work hard on my "Little Story thing". So I did. Since I started in the middle, I had to work backwards and find the beginning, then work out from there.

Step four: Scan everything. And guess what? SMUDGES. EVERYWHERE. I had to photoshop tons of stuff and they were still there.

Step five: Make a cover. Repeat step five.

Step six: Resize images so I can post them.

Step Seven: Post them, and wait an hour.

Step Eight: OMG they were all cut off! So I took them all off and repeated steps six and seven.

Step Nine: Shiver with delight to see that I got a comment and it wasn't just my best friend, it was someone I didn't even know! (YAY person I don't know!)

Step 10: KEEP DRAWING AND SCANNING. And learn how to draw Ed and Winry. That's what I'm working on right now. I drew a pretty good picture of Winry last night, well pretty good for my first-ever time trying to draw her anyway. But...AHHH! Ed is so freaking hard to draw!!!!!!!!

And that is the ten-step process of making Halfmetal Alchemist. I wonder whether it was worth it or not. Ohh well...

   My New Manga! (Well, it doesn't exist yet... BUT IT WILL!)
I wish to tell you about the manga I'm inventing. It's called "The Silenced" and it's a sci-fi sort of thing about a futuristic city where the government is secretive and controlling. They see death as the ULTIMATE bad thing, and don't even speak of it at all. They claim there's no death in the city. But of course there is, so anyone who sees it is taken to a lab where they are given a drug that erases their shorterm memory, and then it is rewritten with computers. This power of changing people's memories gives the government lots of freedom, and so they use it to hide a mysterious conspiracy. But the power doesn't work on everyone. There are people who are immune to the drug, like Imke, the main character. She discovers the underground resistance, people who are all immune and fight the government. They take her in and promise to help her rediscover the memories she lost before she became immune, if she helps overthrow the government.

So, does it sound interesting...or lame and overused? I can promise you at least that there won't be any flying saucers. Just magnetically propelled shopping carts.
