My trip to Washington D.C.
Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to get a parking spot there? Well, anyway, we saw a bunch of museums. We also saw the Capitol. It was extremely hot both days. I was sitting down on a bench when some guy comes up and starts talking to me, I could not understand a word he said...My cousin finally managed to understand that he was looking for batteries for his digital camera. After that, we went to the museum of natural history. It was really cool.
Has anyone noticed that most of the food options are the same for every stand/restaurant? There really is no variety... I've also noticed that D.C. is a very musical town. I saw a couple of people playing Middle eastern music. There was even one guy who was playing drums on garbage cans and a shopping cart.
Second day...
We saw the monuments the second day, we even walked about 8 miles! I used a pedometer(sp?) It was really busy then. There was a walk for diabetes, and there was a graduation going on at the same time too. Then we saw the white house. That's when we lost my cousin, and my two uncles. We went to a french restaurant after. I could barely pronounce anything on that menu...-_-;;
Oh, i'm also glad to see that people appreciate vegetarians in D.C. I was given several pamphlets on the topic. I think i've made my cousin want to go vegetarian... That's about all for now, ja ne!
