 i'd like to press a concern

ratings.
as anime fans, i'm sure you realize that anime/ manga can be conpared to movies. and just like movies, these books contain certain ratings.
unfortunaly these rating signs usually go unnoticed by the kids and adults. (even i hardly see them!)
i don't know how to display these feeling of disgust when i enter a bookstore/ libaray and see 8 year olds drooling over love hina/ranma½ type books. they are infact great series (i *heart* them very much) but they are still very inappropriate for children of that age.
around 2 years ago, i still remember when my friend told me she came across a sex scene in a series she was reading. she had gotten this book from the libaray mixed in with the other graphic novels like cardcaptor sakura o_o
anime is getting more popular nowaday. but i wish i got to see a bit more control? on the matter ;_;
i've also noticed that some manga publishers have started to wrap there manga in plastic, for the more mature ratings. but i haven't seen any of them lately. T_T
oh and btw, happy new years everyone! ^__^
hope you had more sleep then i did!
*sigh* manga... now corrupting young minds of children...

well the problem is that i made it on a flat screen monitor and had to stand up and down trying to read the quotes i put in it @_@ (for the contrast)
can anyone confirm that they can read the quotes?
If you can't i can lighten the text for you ^_^

.Its X-mas eve. I'm not religious. (even though i was forced to go to a cathoic school for 9+ years of my life)
so sleeping till 2 was my highlight of the day!
i feel very numb and tired from doing so though =_=; hope you never try it
now for a more personal note (just skip down to the end)
My friends and I had a X-mas present trade yesterday. The problem with me and presents is that i can only give not recieve.
I feel so stupid/selfish/hurtful/pitiful if i ask them for something.
(plus everyting i really want is too expensive for them)
But my friends are the opposite. It seems like they don't care about the cost of things when they ask for presents. Its great because i want to make them happy with material objects. On the downside, when we exchange gifts, it seems like they all get very nice gifts, while i get cheap ones. It makes me sad when i see how happy they are. ;_; I question my worth in times like these. Unfortunalty the blame is one me; because i asked for it *sigh* i'm a very selfish person
now to analyze:
wanting nothing -> feeling guilty -> my fault
wanting something -> feeling guilty -> my fault
well to make things worse for my "money saving conscience"
i havn't spent anything for myself (nor got out of the house) in 6 months. I spent $100+ for them in one day. I got $20 worth of thoughtless presents back. i am now once again broke for the year, with an empty dresser filled with 2nd hand clothes v_v;

*pause, deep breath*
anyway good thing my submissions were posted! ^___^ yay
only problems were
• i forgot to write my name on my "happy bunnie" wallpaper
so i had to submit it again -__-;
• my "resubmited" "Gotcha" wallpaper never got resubmited. -__-
so i'll wait a day before i submit again.
I feel so guilty giving this site so much hell >D

ok, its been a half a year! o_o
i'm so sorry for not updating ;_; the month after my last post, i went to China for the first time (XD) Unfortunatly, that sort of sidetracked meh @_@ and i forgot about my account here... eh hehe...
anyway, hopefully to make things up (probably wont):
• I resubmited my "Gotcha" wallpaper
by quickly fixing the font.
• submited my "Happy Bunnie" wallpaper
(It is very simple this time, so i hope you'll forgive me ^_^;
• finally fixed this layout!
and it only took me a half a year to do so ;_;
• finally repling to messages and guestbook entries ^___^
eh heheh... when i get the time that is ^^;
*hids from glares* meep!
i've also been having trouble submitting the wallpaper so hopefully i'll be posted later this week :D

i haven't been to myotaku for so long... so i decided to play around with the new features!
first i set up a new background the last one was nice to look at but it was pink and i hate pink =_= *pout* since alot of people are joining myotaku everyday... i guess the cost on banwidth is too high and we now have adds ^^; (struggling to fix the layout) FINALLY: i got some inks and am tring ink drawing :p i'll post my very first ink drawing up once i finnish the background (hopefully i won't spill anymore ink T_T)

ahh, the long awaited AnimeBoston 2004 has passed... on friday, i was Miroku (InuYasha) glomping any girl who knew who i was and on saturday i was Hyatt (excel saga) dying randomly at random places ^^;
but the thing with Hyatt's costume was that my tights were too small and pulling my costume down... *sob* which was like fanservice T_T didn't notice the cleavage. no wonder i gotso many pictures taken... not as bad i as thought ^^;

... or at least feel like it, after looking like shit for the past week (even though my face 'still' looks like shit, its at least pleasant to look at ^ ^; )>starts playing detective music<
It was Saturday morning. Woke up, found spots on face and thought it was achne. In horror, put achne products on. My mom left for Argentina on this day (for 10 days)
When Sunday came it got a little worse by i though nothing of it. (except put more achne products on) My dad's car broke down so he counldn't drive me to school. (god knows where the bus stop is)
Monday morning I thought more about the taxi driver my father sent then then my face (OK, maybe i sort of hid from the taxi driver) At School Friends said I looked hidious and told me to visit the nurse. Nurse thought it was a rash from poision ivy/ oak. ...anyways, got an dissmissal at 11:15 (got very worse T_T), then went to the doctor... anyway Tuesday I felt like crap, the right side of my face was swallon. Oh, i couldn't open my mouth too wide cause the puss on the face hardened T_T Wednesday went to the dermontaligist and it turns out i have skin disease called Infectious Eczematoid Dermatitis Anywho, to make the story short(er) I'm currently healing and have a weeks worth of outlines and math promblems T__T
