Next chapter
“It’s been a long time,” said a voice behind me,” hasn’t it Rorret.”
He stopped and looked behind me, a smile spread across his face. Then I realized I knew that voice. I wheeled around, I was right.
“Dad!” I yelled, and I was right it was him. But there was something different about him, the way he held himself, and his voice was different too.
“I don’t know your face,” said the demon, “but something in your eyes says we’ve met before. Or am I mistaken”
“No we’ve met,” said my dad chuckling, “but like I said its been a while. Maybe you’ll remember me better like this.” Then he put his hand together and said something, I’m not sure what, and he began to glow with a brilliant light so that we couldn’t see him. When the light died down, he had changed immensely. Now he was wearing a suit of armor, it was made of a gold-like material that glowed with its own light. He was wearing the armor all along his arms, and chest, his legs were covered with what looked like long shin guards and he had heavy boots on his feet. On his head he was wearing a helmet that covered his face, and then I noticed something. His hair it was long and blond, it wasn’t like that before, and when I actually looked I realized that he was built a lot stronger then he had been. This new man was not my father, but I was glad he was here, he would help me. Wouldn’t he?
The Demon, Rorret apparently, looked like he was thinking. Then suddenly comprehension dawned on his face. He didn’t say anything just drew a sword he had at his side and stood ready to fight. Apparently there was nothing left to be said.
