Just a short update
Hello my fellow jailbirds, how the hell are y'all this fine morning? Sorry, random WK Gluhen quote courtesy of Ken.
I just wanted to update and say hello, see how everyone is because after Wednesday I'm a dead woman. Yep, another algebra test coming up, and I didn't do so hot on the practice quiz today. So I have a lot of studying to do between now and 10 AM on Wed. morning. And I have a spanish test Friday, but I'm not so worried about that, it's algebra that I hate. And if I don't pass it I'll probably lose my scholarships and get kicked out of the house and... I need a tranq. I need to stop panicking... I need to stop typing before I lose it over the damn typos I'm making. Going for speed here, not so much on accuracy.
I really do need to study though. Anyone who's gone through this crap, HELP!
Other than that, I think life is going well for me. Wll, nothing else to say. Later! Solaris out!

Better news than last time...
We finally got the partial credit on our algebra tests, and I got a 73 as my final grade for that test! Only problem, we have another test next Wednesday and I'm getting nervous. Maybe I should start studying tonight...
I have a habit of not studying. Bad Solaris, no cookie, right? Wrong. I mean to but I don't. Not tonight though, I'm studying! And this weekend the algebra book goes with me to Memphis. I'm probably going to have to go with mom, no matter how much I don't want to. So there goes my weekend... well, I do get faster internet there. Win/lose, I guess. Because no offense to my mom's boyfriend or anything, but the part of town he lives in (really nice part too, and that's what gets me) has crap selection for books. I like my town's selection better, because I have three options for bookstores, and all three have good manga. He only has the one, and it isn't so great. One dinky little set of shelves in the back of the store? I don't think so.
So how has life been going for anyone who visits my little hole on the web? Hope it's been going good. Well, Solaris out! ^_^

In trouble as usual...
Made a 61 on my algebra test. Hell, at least it's passing! But mom wants to try keeping me from my stories and fun stuff for a while. No way in hell is she grounding me.
I just wanted to update here and yanno, just say hey to all you out there. So how ya doing? Really? Great.
I better get off here, mom said not to stay on the computer like I normally do, and if I want to be back on Hikari (my laptop... hey, it said I could name it!) this weekend, I'd better do what she says. Ja ne! Solaris out!

Quick update
Uhm... college algebra sucks and I have a test tomorrow that I hope I'll pass, I've been working on some Weiss Kreuz things that will surprise you at a later date, and.. yeah, nothing special. Gone on a real Matchbox20 binge lately, loving the last song on the CD Mad Season, the sorta jazzy sounding one. Got a fic in mind to it, love the idea. So that's all, and I just wanted to say I'm alive and well and climbing walls because my brother can undo four days worth of vacation in five minutes. So that's all I have to say. Solaris out!

Hey...
Didn't post yesterday, was trying to get to the gym before my first class. 30 minutes just wasn't enough for me to work out in, but that's how long it took me to get there. Ah well, maybe tomorrow.
So, how the hell's your wednesday been going? Right now I'm sitting at a table away from a plug-in, lucky me for charging my computer this morning. Some group took my seat. Mom wanted me to go to this stupid fair thing, and I was going to go... then I saw the crowds. I hate crowds with a passion, mostly because I'm antisocial and claustrophobic. Lovely combination there, huh? I can handle being around people I know well (ie my friends) but for the most part I like to be alone. Took one look at that fair thing, pulled out my cell phone, and left mom a message asking her if she really expected me to go into that madhouse. I swear, if she tries to get mad at me for not going, I'm going to tell her to get over it. She's supposed to support me in my decisions, not get pissy if I don't go to something because I have an objection to being in a freaking MOB of PEOPLE!!!
So other than that, nothing's happened. Bored, tired, full of pizza (the pizza part is always good, though) and seriously contemplating finding somewhere to take a nap until two. So until tomorrow or whenever I get around to posting again... Solaris out!

So... here I am...
Up at the college and on the computer... but this time I have a right to be! Yep, this little vixen is now a college student. Only thing that sucks?
We start classes today, and so did my brother. I don't get my brother free week, damn it! Ah well, crap happens. So today I have, uhm... College Algebra, some stupid class about making connections (not going to happen, I may as well be a 12 year old in an 18 year old's body, so I'm going to be the most immature out of them all), and Spanish. First class is at ten o'clock, so if I get bored with this, I can always write for a while. Trouble with that is it's going to have to be hard copy, I don't have a new backpack and I didn't want to chance my old one breaking with my laptop in it, so I left them at home, just brought a couple of notebooks (and a story I'm working on for a friend), my purse and an umbrella, 'cause it's raining here.
I actually don't mind the rain, it almost calms me down, but today? Not working. I'm nervous as hell. Had to dress up today, have to tomorrow (I have Fine Arts music and Composition 1 tomorrow, but that's not until 11 and 2, respectively).
I finally have a new kitten! I've been missing having a kitten around since Scampi bit it, and someone gave my mom a little tabby kitten the other day. Named it Suna because it has sand-colored fur, and Suna means sand in Japanese (just in case you don't know; I had to look it up once). It's a sweet little cat but it likes to wake me up about 5:30 in the morning to let it out of my room. Sleep is good... and then I hear clawing at my carpet. But if I don't keep her in my room, bro has a fit because she likes to sleep on his legs. She sleeps on my stomach, so what? Last night I woke up at one and she was practically lying on my face. You tell me if you wouldn't rather the cat sleep on your legs after waking up to cat fur in your mouth.
I need to track down one of my friends and see if she wants to eat lunch with me today. I was supposed to help her move in to her dorm room yesterday, but I couldn't get out of helping mom work on the old house and she never called. So call it fate or something. Plus we're going to the same college, and I think she has a couple of classes right before I do so maybe we'll pass each other in the hall or something.
This has to be the longest post I've made here yet, and you can blame it on nerves that it's this long. I guess it's a better nervous habit than biting my nails, typing is. But as nice as it is to not be biting my nails to the blood for once, I have to end this post. So to anyone who starts school today or even anytime soon, Happy Monday and good luck in the upcoming year. Solaris out!

Bloody Hell...
How long has it been since I posted here? Too long, if ya ask me. Sorry! It's been nuts. I had to take my driver's test to get my permit (only have the written part, and I have to wait a month before I can take the driving part... pathetic, I'm 18 and just now renewing my permit...) and I failed it twice before passing it earlier today. Yatta! Now I have my mom and my boyfriend off me back about that. (Yes, that was an intentional 'me' in the previous sentence, that tell you how happy I am?)
Hm... been sketching a lot lately, may post a few here, dunno if I will. But you know they will be going on my deviant art, so watch for an update within the next two weeks.
My brother goes back to school next week, and I go to college the week after that. So the good news is he's out of my hair. The bad news?
My friend Noura-chan is leaving me too! *sobs for a second* But that's what phone lines and weekends are for, and I have a fairly light schedule too. So yay for me!
I've also decided that since I have to go to the college earlier than I need to really (still catching rides with mom, she doesn't have too much longer before she can get her nursing license), I'm going to start going to the gym in the mornings before class. Any bets on how long this will last, lol? Seriously, I intend to do this, and maybe I can get another of my friends to join me if she doesn't have a lot of morning classes. I have to call her soon, too.

How long has it been...
Since I posted here? Hm...
Well, I guess the answer to that is who gives a flying-yeah, I think you get it. So what's new is the next reasonable question...
Well...
I've written several Kyou Kara Maoh fanfictions, and they've gotten great reviews, better even than my YYH ones, so I'm considering switching shows I mainly write about. I've got a doujinshi for same show in scripting, and I need a little more practice drawing Wolfram (or more accurately that blond mop he calls hair... pretty, but a pain to draw) but I intend to draw the fluff-tacular thing. I bought a Kyo shirt (Furuba this time! Whee!) at the local Hot Topic. My newest addiction is Saiyuki, I'm watching Yami no Matsuei, my friends are relieved that I'm actually hooked on a non-yaoi anime with Saiyuki (I'll just let them stay a little ignorant on the YNM, then. ^_^ If it makes 'em happy...), I officially hate the last episode of Weiss Kreuz Gluhen if not the whole damn series, and... hm, that's about it.
Still bored, still need a scanner for my laptop, need new ink, and need a vacation. I'm back in the habit of sleeping days and writing late at night again. This, for those who have been graduated and are out of the house/have parents who don't care/don't give a rat's ass themselves, is a great way to tick off your mom, especially if she has college classes in the mornings. And that is how life goes.
Well, can't say much else has been going on. So I guess this is it. Solaris out!

If boredom was sold in stores...
I'd be the not-so-proud owner of the economy sized case of boredom. And to top it all off I have to babysit tomorrow night! What the hell is going on with my mom?!
I find it funny that she's willing to complain about my boyfriend having to babysit a lot, and she's doing the same damn thing to me... someday she isn't going to get away with it... I'm sick of how she treats me like I'm only existing to serve her every whim. I have tried and tried to see it from her point of view, but I've come to the conclusion that I can't be that bitchy. And trust me, I can be a real bitch when I want to. But I just wanted to drop a line and say hi and I'm bored. Well, going to watch more YYH... or update my live journal... maybe post a fic to my account to prove that I'm not dead. Solaris out.

Thursday... whatever
Not feeling witty this morning, I woke up at 7 again to sit up here for an hour and get more AMVs. Joy... so now I'm kinda sleepy and talking to someone I haven't talked to in a while.
Well, I never got to go to the store yesterday, no big. Maybe I can convince mom to go today, or even the arcade. Girlie wants to go DDR without having to worry about possibly re-breaking her toe on a sliding DDR pad. Seriously, that's how I rebroke it the third time! It's like trying to walk on a boat in a typhoon...
So I've got a ton of AMVs, and I have just one question: Anyone who knows where to find a good Gundam Wing vid, please send me the link! (somewhere other than animemusicvideos.org, please...)I'm hooked. I know I shouldn't have watched Endless Waltz first, but that was the only GW dvd I saw! What do you expect me to do, be ignorant for the rest of my existance?
YAwn... sleepy... and i have to go paint at the old house today. If I didn't have to go get my fox costume sometime soon (if for nothing else, for the ears, I love those things!) I wouldn't go back to that damn place at all. Well, I have ranted for the morning and I'm hoping the caffeine will kick in soon, so... Solaris out!
