Updated UPDATED to-do list
-Finish speech for Oral Comm.
-Write out my exercise plan for concepts of fitness
-RE-Write rough draft of paper for Composition II
-Check the hem of my kimono to make sure it hasn't come down again so I can use it as a visual aid in my speech
-If it has, rehem it
-Drag someone back to Hot Topic or some other store that sells official Naruto headbands because I NEED THE D**N THING FOR MY COSTUME!
-Drag same person to Golden Grotto to see if they have a pink wig Mission: failure by the way.
-Schedual an optometrist appointment to get my vision checked and discuss contacts (This is needed and wanted, okay?)
-Start work on the costume
-Scan and UPDATE cl101 so I can have a hope of finishing chapter one before finals start
Okay, did my speech today. Everyone clapped at the end of it, though I'm afraid it might have been a 'thank god she finally shut up' thing, lol.
I have to get my notes for biology printed off for units two and three, I'm just gonna break down and print them at home. I have to get the seed experiment back up here tomorrow, I've got to clean them first though because somehow they got all moldy... ewwww....
I didn't scan the pages yet, but I have them ready to, I'll scan them tonight and update tomorrow. I am so sorry to give you all the runaround on this, but I haven't had much time, I just now got my scantron sheet for my concepts of fitness test, I'm about ready to jump off the top floor of the student union because all of this work is driving me nuts, and I'm uber ready for spring break to get here already. That's about the time convention is, I can't wait for that, and I want a break. You know, just time to draw and finish everything up. I actually drew three pages of the comic last night. -GASP!- Three whole pages?! Amazing! Okay, not really. They turned out okay, at least. And there's a chibi authoress appearance! ^_^ I had to do it. Just had to. The chibi authoress in me just grabbed me by the throat and demanded it, j/k.
Hm... it's Monday. That's the extent of my knowledge. OH! If anyone wants to see any of my amvs, maybe give me a suggestion for one, I'd love to hear about it! Just tell me, and I can upload the videos to my photobucket account... provided that's not a paid option, because I'm broke. Currently I have three Furuba vids (One to "Touch and Go!!" from Blue Seed- it's a TohruxYuki tribute. The second is to Onaji Omoi from Sukisyo, it's just a general Furuba tribute. The last one is another Furuba tribute, it's to From Way Before from Saiyuki.), two Sukisyo vids (One to It's Too Late from Weiss Kreuz, generic SoraxSunao tribute, really angsty yaoi stuff. The other is to Emotion from Gundam Seed(Meer Campbell) and it's just a general funny video...amazingly, lots of funny in the series), and the last one is FAKE (No, the anime, really, and it's to Bumblebee... warning, Yaoi in this.) So, you've been warned. Oh, and my next project: find a way to remove subtitles from my Weiss episodes and create an AMV for that... Poets of the Fall, maybe? I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

So, there it is, updated. I still feel like jumping off the top floor of the student union would be more productive, but I have this shit done, pardon my language, and I have a million other things to do. Plus I probably won't be getting anything done this weekend; Noura's coming to spend the night! Yay!!! I don't get to see my 'Little sis' as much as I'd like.
Anyone on Gaia? If you are, look me up! I'm Sakura_Haruhana there. Reason for this? Well, I don't have a lot of people to talk to, and I get bored between classes. It'd just be nice to know some people from MyO to talk to occasionally.
Guess that's all I have to say. Besides the fact that I'm tired again, and one of my friends is getting deployed. He says the place hasn't seen any real action so he should be all right.

Sleepy just thinking of it. I'll be pulling late nighters... and all nighters... to get this all done. See, the speech is Monday, the papers are Tuesday, and the exercise plan is Thursday. And I'd rather not put it off too long...

Later in the day now...
And I'm still bored as hell, though the caffiene is helping me considerably. I have philosophy in a half hour, and I have to make sure I study hard. I want my end grades to be all As but I can handle a few Bs. Why this sudden topic thing? Well, midterms are coming up.
Yes, midterms, those evil things that I hate so dearly. We didn't have any tests, thank god, but we get grades. I can't check mine since the new Banner system is a pain in the ass, but I know I want to work hard and get better grades. I intend to have a really good GPA when I leave college. After all... 3.26 got me through high school but it was stupid to have a GPA that low. I know I can do better, I made a 28 composite score on my ACT the first and only time I took it, and if I hadn't made a 22 on the math, I could have had a 29 or 30.
But anyway... what have I figured out today? Well, for one, I'm an RPG demon. I love the RPGs too much. I need to write out my speech and figure out what I'm taking as my visual aids. I have to do my Biology in the News report and finish filling out the notes. I need to fix up my paper for English tonight, preferably. I need to gather up a pair of shorts that won't make me look like hell for PE tomorrow. I have to buy a scantron sheet for PE test Tuesday... and through all this I want to have time for myself. I'm going in to philosophy and typing the damn speech up. That'll be one thing off my mind, then I'll stay here while mom gets her patient info and do the Biology thing.

Morning!
Well, no call from my comm. teacher, so I can figure that there will be class this morning. So yeah, here I am, with caffeine running through my system and being the only thing to keep me awake.
Okay, to clarify from yesterday: No, I don't think we have an architecture class here, and if we do it's ungodly expensive to take. I just draw the scenery and houses freehand, which is probably half the reason they turn out looking like hell. I'll post one of my house sketches soon... actually, within a few pages of cl101, you will get to see the front of the girl's house, so you can see how crappy my attempts to draw houses can get.
Well, nothing to really say right now. My search for a headband went bust, but I did get a cool t-shirt! "Think: it's not illegal yet". ^_____^

Another day another ramble
Yeah, I have nothing so far, and I have lab class in about fourty minutes. Woo-hoo. But I did get my research for my paper! Go me!
It's still really nice here, pretty and warm... well, warmer. But, hey, after a winter of temperatures ranging from 10-35 degrees (on a good day, 36), I'm ready for the warmth. Well... that and I'm just ready to get all the sweaters out of my closet... they take up too much space. And this closet is bigger than the one at my old house (and easier to get out of if you get shut in it... don't ask).
So... no updation right now. Later tonight, or tomorrow. *bows to the floor* Sumimasen! I really want to update, I just haven't got it scanned yet and I still have to do the lettering because even I have problems reading my handwriting on a good day, and... Okay, shutting up now. Also, I'm going to rent a couple of books on html at the library when I take those art books back, so maybe I'll have the character page up and running soon.
Uhm... never let me do architecture. I can't draw houses or buildings to save my life. I'm practicing, but... well, 'keep practicing' is becoming my motto on that front.
Okay, enough ranting about that. This is the last week of the plant experiment, and I'm so ready to get that report written and given. After that I won't have to go up there to speak again! Yay!!! And I have to write my speech for oral comm. Fun. Okay, I have nothing else, except I think I'm going shopping tonight, so I can get part of my Sakura cosplay outfit. I think I'm getting my headband tonight, and if all goes well, I should have 100$ to spend at an anime store near the convo. Maybe they'll have a good anime room too... Well, that's all from me! Kyah....
So, got the call at seven this morning, I don't have comp class because the teacher's mom is in the hospital. I could have SLEPT! But since I can't drive (legally anyway... CURSE YOU LITTLE RURAL TOWN!!! Okay, and that concludes my 'rage at the town' for now), I had to get up, get dressed, and come with mom to wait until ten for class. Shoot me now, please.
Oh, well, at least with this, I can log off about 9:25 or so and go print off my notes. Which I've been meaning to do since we got them and just haven't yet. ^_^' Bad Solaris, no cookie. Ah well.
I know I haven't updated yet. I toned the damn pages yesterday, but I couldn't scan them to get them on to the site. I promise to scan them tonight, and then I'll update tomorrow. I am SO sorry I can't seem to keep my own update schedual. It's driving me nuts too. But on the other comic, I have the script finished, still waiting on my beta to get back to me on what she thinks, and I have an opinion from Noura: good. She actually just about died over one exchange.
Human dude: *trying to figure out what the hell the elf is, then sees the ears* Elf?
Elf dude: *hears this, turns around smiling, and walks over to the window* Human. Now that we have our races straight...
I even told that one to my mom, and she asked if I wrote it or someone else did. When I told her I did, she admitted it was cute. Whoo, brother... if she knew I had applied that line to a yaoi comic... I don't think she'd think it was so cute. ^_^'
So, yeah, gonna plug my computer in to the wall and watch the first episode of Naruto: Shippuden. Dattebayo! Laters, minna-san! Solaris out!

Sigh...
It's...
FRIDAY!!!! w00t! Yosh! *classic anime "all right! Victory!" pose... remind me to draw that for one of the cl101 characters sometime soon...*
In celebration of this wonderous event, I will... hm... post two pages of the comic tonight! Well... I'll try anyway. I may not get it toned in time. I have anime club meeting and classes and all sorts of fun shit. So yeah...
Started working on a sequel to the elf comic. Eight pages and it's going well! ^_^ This one's a one-shot too, so don't think I'm going to dig my own grave with too many multi-chapter comics.
I have to work on my speech today, and study for a philosophy test coming up in the next week, and I want to keep working on the different shots of the characters. I'm on headshots of the elf right now, and I have to get copies from a book on how to draw elves. I got a few copies this morning, but I'm getting the rest this afternoon. They go back to the library tomorrow... maybe I can convince mom to take me and the brat to the arcade for a while... ^_^ I wanna DDR!
Well... I'll have more interesting things to say when the day has gone on a little more. I have to water the plants too... they're growing great!
Oh, didn't mention that my biology lab is doing a plant experiment, huh? Well, my group is experimenting with the way different color light affects the plants. So far we've found that with 10 mg of water every other day, the yellow light plants grew first, then the blue and red, and as of Tuesday, the control (normal light) hadn't grown a bit. I sort of expected the yellow light to grow first, after all, it's right in the middle of the spectrum and is a close replica to sunlight. I know this is all basic high school crap, but this is all sorta new to me. My high school sucked. Big time. Hardly any lab time, and in chemistry, if we had wanted to break out the dangerous chemicals with killer fumes, we would have had to open the little bitty windows and hope for a strong breeze to pull the fumes out. We didn't have fume hoods. Such are the consequences of going to a small rural high school.

Quick update so you all know I'm alive and working in some fashion. I finished the script for the new comic, it is now in the hands of one of my friends who offered to beta for it (I have a beta! Shweet!). All I can hope is it comes back with good reviews. I am currently in the process of finishing chapter one on CL101, and I have a new update on that.
Due to the fact that I want to, yanno, pass college and continue with the comics, and get the new one on the net, I will most likely finish chapter one, take a hiatus to cement the new idea and finish some character sketchs (two done already! Now for a little practice...) CL101 will probably be on a short hiatus. Oh, it won't be too bad! I just want to get a bit of chapter two drawn before I start posting it, and I would really love to get the new comic finished and on the net as well. But, considering that it's a one shot and took about 21 pages of scripting (22 if you count my comments, and if you undid all the weird spacing involved in my comics... about 19 to 20 pages of script, total) it will most likely be a while before I get that finished and on the net. Also, I want the whole thing to be in color, and with me, that means color pencils. I'll try to post the first draft character sketches on my DA, my photobucket... okay, and maybe here. Lord knows I haven't posted here in a while, and I know how to manipulate stuff now when it comes to photoshop. So expect to see an elf in my comic scope sometime this summer.
Like I said earlier, don't worry, the hiatus will just be short so I can get my bearings back. Three weeks, a month tops. It'll also most likely come right after I finish the first chapter of CL101, which will probably be finished posting by summer break if I keep this update schedual. I'm going to work on some more of chapter one tonight, and if I finish it, I may start drawing chapter two. It's all going to be fine! ^_^ Besides, maybe in this time, my art style will mature a little bit.

Ready for the week to be over now...
No, seriously, I am. I'm as tired as hell, and I want to go home and sleep until Saturday. I don't care that I'd miss philosophy, which is pretty much the only fun class I have this semester, I don't care that I would miss biology, I don't give a rat's ass that I would miss this nice weather (because I'm thinking of ditching my coat at the car before I go to class, since I can and ought to). I want to go home, maybe open the window and close the door, and sleep until I can't stand to sleep anymore. I'm exhausted. I think part of it is midterm exams. They're coming up, so everyone's putting hella pressure on us. And I got nominated to write an impromtu essay for a 100 $ prize if I win first place, and I just want to rest. Plus, I have a new comic idea in the works. But you gotta be warned, this one is pure shonen-ai. What do you expect of a Gravitation fan? Much less this Gravitation fan?
Kyah.... one more class, then I get to go home and rest at least a little. I can't wait...
