It's all relative
My grandfather's coming to visit for what I've accepted will probably be the last time I'll ever see him. Things are rather busy here, to say the least. Which is why I've not been able to PM certain people, and why I might not be able to get online for a while, save for short, rather sporadic bursts.
That also means my voice conversation with James will have to wait, heh. Sorry James.
Mum's going to her friend's funeral tomorrow, and she's already told me she's not looking forward to it. The next few days aren't going to be fantastic at home. Luckily I'm out Friday and Sunday, so that only leaves two and a half days of potential tension.
I feel bad when I say that, but my granadad is rather hard to cater for. he doesn't like pasta or curry (two foods which occur here relatively frequently), or duvets, which means Mum has to recruit a slew of extra blankets from the attic for him. The spare bedroom became a second loft, so everything in there had to be shifted out and the sittingroom still isn't tidy yet. On top of that, I need to tidy Dulcie's room (she's coming back from Bristol for the weekend) and the sitting-room, which is pretty much always in a state of untidiness. Thankfully, my room doesn't need ot be cleaned to excess. I will do it anyway before long, but at least it's not entirely urgent.
Bleh, too many things to do... I do have something to look forward to, though- on Wednesday I get to stay in St Albans to see Pyro again ^_^ That will be good, hehe.
In the meantime, preparation is the key. And a rather large, unweildy one at that. |
