Back to college
As the title suggests, I went back to college today.

I didn't feel much like getting up at 6:45 this morning (much less because I forgot to have a shower >_<; My hair looks terrible), and I was very tempted ot call in sick. I didn't in the end.

It turned out I wouldn't have missed a heck of a lot if I had, save for two sheets given to us by our Stage Management teacher. I have a project to do for that in for next Monday. Erk. And for Singing, which I have no idea about. We have to create a vocal warm-up exercise, so I think I'll do a scale of 'Aaaah' and say it's to help open mouths and project voices. That should do nicely ^_^

Mind you, I'm looking forward to the SM homework more than the Singing (which is good, because the SM's in before Singing... I hope). For the vocal warm-up we actually have to write the notes to which you're singing. This would be alright, but I can't even read bloody sheet music, let alone try and formulate a tune without a musical instrument as guidance. We sold our keyboard a few years ago, so all I have are the broken panpipes...

Anyway, we started blocking Alice today, but we never got round to my scene. That'll be tomorrow. I'm half-looking forward to it- I still need to try and refine my West Country accent for the character. And, doing some post-last minute research tonight, I found out that traditionally, only female Griffons/Gryphons had wings; the males had spikes on their backs. The one in Alice has wings, so... I guess Tenniel or Carroll made a cock-up ^_^; I'm not being a transvestite West Country Gryphon. Not yet, anyway.

Hells Fire- Heh, you have good taste in music. I admire that ^_~ I do wonder who the other six people on your Cool list, though. If you still read every now and then you'll have to tell me who they are, heh.
Mew- It's no problem ^_^ I would comment on your site more often but sometimes I just can't think of anything dceent to say >_<;
Sahkyrice- I think I've said already, but I do actually live in the UK. Although sometimes I wished I were somewhere else. I wouldn't know where, just away from here when I get a little sick of it. I think it's quite a nice place to be, generally. I'm grateful for what I have, anyway.
KawaiiAnime- I like the wolf too ^_^ I'll visit the site if I can remember, heh. I have a fairly tight MyOtaku schedule as it is.
Gasara- England's getting better for anime, and at quite a pace. It's certainly not as bad as it used to be. Although the shop where I am could use a larger range...
Chabichou- Thank you ^_^ The background took a fair bit of searching for. But I'm pleased with it, heh.
Kaedesan- Heya ^_^ Heh, it's good to see you again. I'd wondered where you'd got to for a while. I'm doing alright, generally. One or two minor niggles, but nothing major, heh.
chikaietan- had you not said 'Good Luck', I'd have deleted that entry. I'm not taking so kindly to advertising posts now. So at least pretend to make it look like you've read a bit of my site ^_~
Flava- The tournament looks pretty cool ^_^ I'll have to check in with each new round to see where it gets to. Cool stuffsnessicities.
Shinmaru- I'd added you to my AIM Buddy List, but I never got a chance to instigate a communicatory advance. Things often come up when I want to talk to people too >_<; Still, there are more than enough opportunities, hehe.

HTML confuses me. I can just about change font colour, but even then I have to strain to remember to type 'font' in front of every text adjustment I do. It's moider, I tells ya.
