I NEED MUNNIES!
Yes, and that's about all I have to talk about, but I wanted to update with something ^_^;
To save this post from descending into randomness or obscurity, I will... er... save it.
Rain Rain, Come Again...
It's finally raining here. And it's not just your average English Summer rain. It's Tropical Monsoon rain. Hot, sticky and wet.
As I was last night (no comments, please)- it took me over two hours to get to sleep last night- the humidity was 81%, as I can find out with this funny little weather station we have on our wall. And yes, Megu-chan, it probably pales a lot in comparison to Florida weather, but I've lived in England all my life ^_^; My tolerance for these things is incredibly low, heh.
There's an interesting debate in the Anime Lounge at the moment, all about Banning Animes. It's one of the few debates in which I can actually think of something worthwhile to say (and I've pretty much said it three times already, heh...).
One More Goodbye...
My grandfather went back to Newcastle today. Since I was still too ill to re-enact on Sunday, I never had the chance to show him what I actually do. I was disappointed, but we're very different to my cousins' family up where he lives. He's their grandfather too, and they have a far more traditional medical background than we do, even though dad's a psychiatrist and mum was a scientist. They enjoy pretty much the same things as he does- Hugh (my grandfather) is almost a fish out of water here, and I always felt guilty when I saw him sitting by himself when we were all doing things... but it couldn't really be helped. It was nice to see him anyway, and I'm sure I'll see him again before too long.
I've had enough of goodbyes. I've made vows to get back in touch with people who I promised I would, and it's... nice. It's really nice, heh.
I need to sort out my bedroom- I've got more stuff than space and it's getting increasingly difficult to move around, heh. Too many toys... |
