Battle of the Spark!
Ah, in lieu of not having very much else to do, I shall write today's post about two things:
One, this survey thingy (taken from Hevn, but seen at Juu's siteh).

And Second...
The roots of my obsession.
Way back in 2001 I found a website that fulfilled some of my greatest desires... They shipped Beast Wars figures to the UK! I was so pleased, hehe. And you could pre-order them, too ^_^
That I did with many things, as the Beast Machines line was reaching some of the more advanced toys of its release, which I was very interested in.
This one in particular
I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I'd always liked foxes and things from Disney's Robin Hood, but to actually see a figure like this...
A bipedal wolf, blue and red, with wings...
He's remained a firm favourite of mine ever since. I named mine Noble, after the character in the series. After finally being able to see the series in RealPlayer format (We got Sky a bit too late, unfortunately) I was even more pleased to see that the character I'd built Noble up to be was fully justified in the series (even though some rather dramatic things happen in his rather short stay).
I was so taken with him that I decided that my long-imagined Digimon story should star someone like him. Not exactly him, but someone incredibly similar. And I have to scan in the improved drawing of Aidan my sister did so I can show you the progression he's made.
Anyway, ever since then, wolves have been a big part of characters I create. Or things with wings. Any combination of the two is even better, heh. Although ironically my favourite Digimon is Flamedramon rather than MagnaGarurumon.
MagnaGarurumon still rocks, though ^_^
This guy was part of the inspiration behind MetalArmadillomon, I guess. That, and I wanted my favourite partnet Digimon to actually get some decent screentime one way or another, so I figured a better reincarnation of him would do justice, hee ^_^
I have many many more toys I can talk about- I think all of them have extensive pictures of them on the site. Which is nice ^_^
