*finds time*
Heh, look at that- I'm almost getting out of date with these. And with a few other things. I still need to get some sound files of myself recorded for Project Shinsei, and I will do that as soon as I have time and am not currently doing some other necessarry activity.
So, What Up?
I did have a whole load of stuff I wanted to talk about here, but I can only remember a few things. Here we go, then.
I Dream of Double Dash!!
I finally got my grubby mitts on MK:DD, and I can safely say it was worth the extra money. The one-player's great fun even though I've nearly managed to finish most of it (that was one thing that annoyed me slightly about the other one- it was rather easy to finish). The handling's much better than the N64 version in my opinion, and the two racers per kart is a great idea. Plus I get to make some really cute couples with the characters ^_^ Yoshi and Birdo were made for each other, heh.
I'm having a great deal of trouble with the 150cc Star Cup, though (supposedly the second-hardest cup of the regulars). Ironically I managed to finish the one up from that before I've done that one. The computer-controlled opponents are complete bastards no matter who I choose. There's no way Toad should be able to thump Donkey Kong off the track... grr. Still, I like a challange. And this certainly is one.
SO Kawaii!
I watced a good deal of the Baby Looney Tunes marathon on Boomerang all day Sunday, and it even kept me up until half eleven at night. Damn baby Sylvester and his... ness. He's my favourite character in the series, see, and it was an episode about him. There was another on at about midnight, but I really needed sleep.
My only major gripe about it is there's no Wile E Coyote. Mind you, I don't suppose there's much a mute character who only chases about another character can do, but even so he's still a Toon. I'm glad Elmer, Yosemite and Foghorn don't make that much of an appearance- I don't like them particularly. Nor Porky.
Calamity Coyote is my all-time favourite Loony Toons franchise character as if you couldn't guess. I'd almost have a fit every time he came on screen. His episodes were the best. Pity I always missed them...
I felt too emotionally drained to write much yesterday evening, not just because of Double Dash. But Chapter 7 of Dark Conflict is coming along nicely, for the... two, maybe three people who read this who also read that, heh. And like it.
One last thing:
Shout-out to Mimmi- Ah, thank you so much for your entry ^_^ That made me smile a lot. *adds to 'Friends' list* |
