Are you more Spegg or Erm?
Today's probably been my most productive of my half-term days, even though I've done even less than most others.

My driving lesson went really well- Instructor Lawrence told me that the maneouvres were 'spot-on', so long as I keep the observation in the right places then it won't be a problem. I'm confident I can do well on my next test, hehe. But I won't get complacent. I intend to keep practicing as much as I can until November 15th... then I'll practice some more o_o;

Oherwise, the vast majority of the day was spent having lunch and playing on Phantasy Star Online (or Offline, in my case). PS took up most of that, of course. I came to realize why I kept playing it for so long- hoping to find a SPECIAL WEAPON, as they're so called in the game, and gaing level ups so that one day I can finally get my character to use that damn MAG60 >.> Stupid guy'll need at least another two level-ups to reach ATA of 120, and at Level 60 that doesn't come easy.

Aah, baffling stats ^_^

I took the dogs for a walk and did the washing up, too. Go me.

Surprisingly, my sister's coming down from Bristol for thr weekend. She suddenly decided it this morning, but unfortunately she always manages to choose weekends when I'm away doing things. The most I'll get to see of her is two hours or so tomorrow evening! Ah well...

Dan and I went out for a meal with Adrian and Lucy (two crazy fun people from the Chichester festival youth Theatre) this evening ^_____^ It was great fun, and we had some hilarious conversations about names and what percentage of egg/sperm that you were.

The waiter at the restaurant was so funny but I couldn't help feeling sorry for him. We were taking the piss a bit, but it's really the manu's fault for being so vague.

They had pictures of eight varieties of ice-cream, but no price. On the other page, it said that all desserts were £3.75, but there was no indication as to how much ice-cream you could actually have. So, could you fit sixteen scoops into one bowl, or was it just the one?

Lucy: Are the ice-creams three seventy-five?

Waiter: [Italian Accent] I don't know.

Dan: How much ice-cream do you get for three seventy-five? Could it be sixteen, all in one?

Waiter: I don't know. One guy asked for eight- it couldn't be done.

Adrian: How much ice-cream do you get?

[He looks at waiter. they laugh. A brief pause]

Adrian: No, seriously...

Eventually we chose what we wanted and worked out that the waiter was actually wrong- you could fit sixteen scoops on there if you balanced it all out well enough. Although they would have to be balenced verywell, heh ^_^;

We came home- Dan was planning on conducting a Murder Myster evening tomorrow at his house, and I thought we'd been given a kit for Christmas on how to make one, but it turned out I was mis-remembering it: it was a strange movie-makers night thingy. Anyway, I lent him my half-Life games collection and Jedi Academy and he went away happy, then I went back inside happy.

It's been a very good day, heh.

But go and hug Mimminess- she's ill, and needs your hugs (and pants).

Take care, and thank you for your comments yesterday ^_^ I would comment on them now but I really need to get to bed early (well... now, anyway. It's not early any more ^_^;). I'm up at 5.45 tomorrow *cries*

*hugs everyone*
