Blah, no HTML this time I'm afraid. I can't be bothered to copy from the other post. Although sitting here typing about how I'm not bothered is probably taking twice as much work. Ah well.

College is picking up somewhat... moreso. I've volunteered (albeit rather grudgingly) to be in the play Marat/Sade (a.k.a. The Persecution and Assassination of Marat as performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the direction of the Marquis de Sade, and yes, that is the full title). In that I play a patient, although I need a disability for my character to have. I've joined in the rehearsals a few days late, so trying to get myself into the gear of things is rather strange. But the Upper Level Intensive Acting course people seem very nice.

It's a rather disturbing play- there are nuns and sisters in it, but they're to be played by large men. Hopefully some more of my group will be available soon. I feel rather isolated in there.

Alice is going well- I really like my character, hehe. Although the Lobster Quadrille is going rather difficultly- I can't get the dance steps for the third section right. I'm dancing with Krisje and Kamilla (depending which cast's performing), somewhere... upstage center left. Picture a Gryphon tangoing with a Dodo to a track of Vangelis and you've pretty much got my section of the dance there.

I think I'm coming down with Dad's horrible infection. I doubt (and hope) I won't get it as badly as he did, bearing in mind I don't have to go to work. But the thought of it does unnerve me. After all, I don't want pus coming out of my tonsils... and walking the dogs in a temperature of about 0.9 degrees this evening probably didn't help. But if I'm ill now at least it'll be over and done with by before Christmas. I expect a fair few cast members'll be practically doped up to the teeth come the performance nights.

I've not had a heck of a lot of time for things I want to do lately. I'll get up to date with my Guestbook shoutouts in a while, but in the meantime I want to get Enter The Net and Dark Conflict's chapters finished, preferably before the end of the weekend. Not having Saturday might be a problem (getting more swords from Coventry ^___^), but I'm sure I'll manage. It doesn't take that long to write a page of story, really.
