Cough-ee Break
What a time for a throat infection, eh? Two days before my first on-stage dress rehearsal and it hurts to speak. Bugger.
For that reason, I didn't think it was worth doing reenactment training today, and I stopped myself from going out with Jeremy and Lawrece to a comedy club. It sounded like fun, but meh. I'd rather get better at the moment.
I wish the phoneline would do the same. The BT engineers came round to replace all the telgraph poles on our lane, and didn't get to finish. We have Broadband but no phone, which is odd. Since the phones weren't working I was expecting there to be no internet connection. I wish I'd been able to get on earlier, especially with some "random" newbie flaming the Yu-Gi-Oh forum. I found out we had lift-off when I went to get a drink during Pirates of the Caribbean- dad was spending more money on stuff. I shouldn't criticise really- I buy far too many things myself. But he has more responsibilities than I do- I can afford to spend money on frivolities, at least for the moment.
Although how many frivolities is soon to come into question, and this all depends on where Lawrence and I are going for our week's holiday we're planning this summer. Could be somwhere interesting (like New York), exotic (Australia somewhere), interesting (Europe) or just Scotland if we're really desperate. If we could see the Northern Lights somewhere it'd be amazing. Canada might be nice, but I have to reckon on only being able to spend what I have in my account, which as it stands isn't an awful lot.
So, that's your lot for today. I'm off to bed.
Guestbook notice: I will be doing shout-out soon, but if people sign my guestbook only with the intention of getting me to sign theirs, the entries will be deleted. I had two in one day and it didn't impress me much. The ones I had today were alright, they'll stay ^_^ And I'm honoured to have had Jenna sign mine, too *squeals*
Anyway, I need food and sleep. Much to not do tomorrow...
