Comments!
Tuesday
ShaniKun: Woo, hello! You're correct, hehe. I am currently in rehearsals for Macbeth in college ^_^
Shin: As soon as I find out, I'll send out an announcement, hehe. With any luck you'll get to see me swordfighting and even winning, perhaps! Ah, that would be so cool...
Roxie: *parties* ^______^ I can't wait! I won't be able to see the broadcast version (seeing as the UK's Discovery isn't the same as the US one), but I should have a copy of the show on DVD.
rustym: It's called Laura McKenzie's Traveler, heh. I have an episode of it here which I'll watch soon to see what it's like.
Hevn: As I gather, yes. But you never know ^_^
I are in the pains! My legs feel like rock, but they stand up like jelly. I don't suppose any combination of those two substances is particularly productive, but eh.
I'm thinking of changing the colour scheme for my site, because... it's really something I just threw together and it's not particularly inspiring. I'm sure there's more that I can do to it, but I'm entirely at a loss as to what.
For the mean time, though, seeing as I've nothing worthwhile to update about, I give you two things:
Pictures of my bruised thumb. They aren't great, but they look pretty nasty anyway, heh.
Pre-Casualty This is my thumb before I took it to get drilled. Down on the left, just below the nail was a huge dark red swelling- like a huge blood blister that leaked every so often. You can see the nail getting quite dark at this point, and not that there's another thumb for comparison, but at this point it's about twice the size of the other.
10 Days Later, and it's returned more or less to its usual size. It still hurts if I press anything. The nail's gone a really nice black colour there, and that white-ish bit on the very left edge shows where most of the sword impact fell. That red bit of skin has now developed into a scab underneath the skin (part of which actually fell off yesterday >.>), and if you look closely you should be able to see the spot in the centre of the nail where it was drilled.
I's not irritating me as much any more, but when that nail falls off...
And for the second thing; just something I thought might be interesting. You don't have to do it, but it'll probably be better than any update I can give you today ^_^;
I have 44 archive pages. Pick one number from 3 to 44, slap it on the end of http://www.myotaku.com/users/solo_tremaine/life/ and see which posts come up that interest you most. I read bits of it the other day, and rather than thinking (as I usually do) that everything that's come before is embarrassing and should be chucked into some whirling void of destruction, I actually think they're written a damn sight better than how I'm doing now. I blame time off MyO/OB/AIM.
I am intending to be on AIM soon, but I need to work up the courage to do so. It seems strange, but I'm really quite anxious about it.
Anyway, I'm going out soon. Seeing as it's not Pyjama Day in Portsmouth, I'd better get dressed...
