THE ROOM: a wall, a desk, and a very special shelf
If any of you are visiting for the first time in a while, I've been giving a tour of my room for the past few days. So far we've gotten around one wall, with three more to go - so let's go!
This is a close-up of sorts of the wall below my window, above my desk. On the left is my LotR calendar (with TWO holes along the top for hanging, requiring DOUBLE the amount of nails!). Hooked on that one nail is a funky cross I got after my Confirmation all those years ago: it's made up of 3 nails wired together and it's all on a leather tie - I feel it's quite clever in that sense. That circle-bit isn't part of the cross, and is just a hangin' on ring-rosary, which I may have also gotten during Confirmation . . . heh, so yeah, there's a neat little bit for ya: SomeGuy is in fact Catholic though he doesn't really make the effort about it - most sad, I know . . . sorry . . . . . anyway, next to that is my burr-illiant "Procrastinator's Creed" poster; you can find the list online here or there, but I have the poster itself! Nyah hah hah! On the right is my poster from the 1998 "Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival" in Moscow . . . Idaho. Those of you in jazz band, you might know of this one as the biggest jazz festival in North America. Made for a good trip, I felt . . . Brian Bromberg the bassist guy was always there . . .
And here it is, the surface of my gigantic desk which I never use for the purpose intended. I'll start at "12:00" and go around clockwise. My umbrella, an empty HMV bag from my Star Wars/Tegan and Sara/U2 purchase a couple weeks back are at the top there. Just below them are a bunch of Japanese snacks I still have yet to finish off from when I showed that Japanese girl and her family around Vancouver a bit (they were nice). Top-right corner is the now-famous red writing binder of mine along with a cell phone recharger. That brown case is for the digital camera I was using, so it's usually not there . . . ah well. At the bottom-right corner is my wallet (red/brown leather), silver pocket watch ($10), and old cell phone since I washed and dried the new one . . . hehe. You can also see a $10 bill and a quarter . . . the quarter, incidentally, is a US quarter. Go fig. Around the bottom and you can see the Interac receipt from the Star Wars tickets, an open FFVII OST case, and a pack of Gobstoppers which came all the way from Florida . . . and I haven't eaten those yet either, despite the fact they were a Christmas present (sorry 'Beck!!!). Then there's my first CD player bought from nine years ago with saved up allowance, an arc-weld detailed pencil holder (made in grade 8 as well), and a metal "bear" bank which is much smaller than my older wooden one . . . however, this one is not broken. Oh, and that phone is to the main house line - this'll make more sense tomorrow. And yes, "Frisk" is my preferred breath mint.
Next to all of that stuff is a third shelf. Heh, yeah, I liberated a lot of shelves from the hallways after all the moving around (allegedly they were in the way anyway). So here, this shelf doesn't really have a set purpose just yet, though it does have one in particular that's quite important . . . that's in two more pictures, though. Oh, see that Inuyasha plushie in the corner there? That was SUPPOSED to be a birthday present for "The Girl" last September, but then she decided she'd rather have a work term and not go to school . . . heh, so I've kinda been stuck with it since. Ah well, sooner or later . . . so yes, that stuff on the shelf shall be explained soon enough.
Ahh . . . now THIS quirky character with the crooked smile is Ben, my teddy bear. I've had Ben since I was two, making him older than a lot of people here (nineteen, if not older!). Ben's got no articulation, and his butt's curved at just the right angle so that he can't really sit up without something against his back (like the shelf) - I think it goes with the smile, though. Heh, so I found this red strip of cloth, so I tied it around his arm - this was mostly because I was doing the same thing in high school with a red scarf I have (it went with the whole "School survivor" thing - I just wanted to look the part). And yeah, at some point in time I decided that he'd be the perfect person to display whatever medals I've ever won. So around his neck are one gold and two bronze medals from kung-fu tournaments, and one gold medal for the Fermat math competition I did in grade 11 (back when I was good at it). I used to have another gold kung-fu medal, but I sent it far away to someone whom I thought could use it a bit more than me . . . that said . . . . .
Heh, notice the continuity error? So yes, if any of you were to ever send me anything, it'd most likely end up on this shelf: these are my incomplete shrines to "my girls". The continuity error was because I ran around looking for movies or video games which I felt would completely sell whose spots those all were. For the most part I've organised them on the shelves according to timezones/west-east, so yeah. Currently these people are all North Americans, but I am thinking of branching out a bit some time . . . . . I also need some miniature flags for states/provinces or something . . . so yes, one day I shall have wonderful little spots for all my lovely far away friends that can surpass even the Christmas cards! I know, I don't know how that's gonna work either . . . but it will!

THE ROOM - Shelves, Shelves, and a Bit of Wall
So yeah, the layout of my page with the slightly large images kinda irks me, but I don't wanna shrink 'em too much . . . ah well. Anyway, let's do this!
So this is the complete bookshelf, sorted and ordered meticulously and . . . maybe anal-retentively . . . . . ahem. First shelf on top: novels on the left, comics/manga on the right. Second shelf: ancient/classic, medieval, and other early writings - Shakespeare, Herodotus, Vergil . . . CHAUCER . . . they're all in there. Third shelf: textbooks on the left, and miscellaneous stuff like Star Wars Essential Guides, War-literature, and Warhammer 40k rulebooks (second edition) on the right. Bottom shelf: high school motorboard and yearbooks on the left, old grade 8 piggybank in center (made it), and music-type stuff on the right like music stand and a trumpet harmon mute. Yeah, "How To Be" fits with misc. stuff . . . another funny story is that yellow book in the "misc." section - you can see where a nosebleed accident occured. Also of good fun is in the "textbook" section . . . Latin students should be able to notice a few certain colour-coded textbooks in there . . . hehe. Oh, all the books are ordered in alphabetical order based on author as best I could as well - just throwing that in.
On the left of the bookshelf is this shelf. This one doesn't have a clear-cut role like the other one . . . but it does hold some pretty cool stuff. I'll talk about the toys and models in a sec . . . now, that wooden boat that's holding all the hats was an art thing in elementary school, but it holds hats up really well (including the fedora [Indiana Jones costume bit #2!]). Under the hats is the shot glass collection, ordered alphabetically by the place they're from. Yeah, shot glasses are my preferred choice in souveneir item - parents have helped fill that out as well. Below that, a Canucks souveneir hockey stick, some pens (more on that later), a plastic boomerang, a couple broken pairs of sunglasses, a Boba Fett pez dispenser, a random basket of electronic things, a pack of Greek Myth playing cards, and behind that a toy cap gun (Indiana Jones costume item #3!). The books beneath that were not deemed "shelf-worthy".
This and the next pic were actually taken later than the original run of photos after I saw how blurry the last one turned out. Anyway, here are my toys and models and stuff. The stressed out Coke bottle is from Mexico (band trip), and the not stressed out one is from . . . somewhere. The knight on the left has a broken shield-hand, and that piece is lying next to the smaller William Wallace statue-thing. The Ringwraith and the Gundam Wing action figures were presents from "The Girl" during various points in time - the heavy arms was just a model I bought and painted. Beneath that are my Blood Angel Space Marines - my first large, expensive hobby. Back in those days I was a crappy painter and many of those are still unpainted. Ah well . . . yeah, some of my brother's Dark Angels are in there too, but meh. So yeah, all those "elevation platforms" are mostly Games Workshop boxes or cassette tapes.
Heh, I like to refer to this as "The Dead Pens Society" . . . okay, I only made that up a few days ago, but still. Anyway, the metal box was cut and spot-welded by myself in grade 8 (another Industrial Education project). Explains why it's falling apart now, eh? Hehe . . . anyway, what's important about this is that this pretty much sums me up as a writer and an English Major. Once I finally started paying attention, I started keeping all the Paper-Mate pens that I have ever used to completion. I don't know what that's supposed to represent exactly, but hell, I've gone through a lot of pens these past many years . . .
So now we're onto the west wall that faces our next door neighbours. Heh, from this angle you can see a large box filled with papers on that shelf on the right - yeah, those are all my university notes up until now. Scary, huh? Hehe . . . mostly, this photo is of my giant desk which technically supports two face-to-face people, but instead there's just boxes and crap under the other side of it. I'll have a better picture of the desk later, so I'll wait 'til then to talk about it along with the walls and stuff. Hehe . . . so, in the reflection in the window, you can see what my light fixture looks like. It's not a very powerful lightbulb in there, let me tell ya . . . . . oh, and about those NBA curtains, um . . . my grandma made them for my brother a long time ago (though none of us really like basketball to begin with). Now, well . . . I'd LIKE to think that they're temporary, but uh . . . yeah . . . . . oh, though I'll mention it later, you see that red binder on the desk? That is THE red binder - the one I carried around in my senior years of high school, writing my stories and stuff . . . so yeah, that's what that is. Neat, ne?

THE ROOM - Entrance, Wall One, and Weapons . . .
Now technically my room is only lit by a single hanging bulb during the night, though the open window does stream in a LOT of light . . . but that's later. Here you can see the side of my bookshelf, and the tangle of cords that runs to my gigantic desk that I never use - no plugs on that wall, it's very frustrating . . .
And around the corner, and here we are. Massive floor space. And yes, I am a slob in many ways . . . though this is just the day after laundry day, so that's only 1-2 days worth of clothes, including the Superstore uniform which had to air out a bit for the next day . . . I decided to intervene and bury the underwear under the other stuff - y'know, it's just decent that way (boxers, there). The belt on the left is my black "work" belt, and the one on the right is my brown "casual" belt. The basement's cold, so I have two blankets. Other than that . . . I'll elaborate on everything else - especially that one bookcase - when I close up on them later. Of interest are my black dress pants for work on the left. See how they're crumpled straight down? Basically, that's how my pants look at the end of the day - I drop 'em, step out of them, and go straight into bed. Fun image, ne? Nyah hah hah . . .
I backed myself right up against my headboard to get this shot of my . . . north wall. As you can see, I'm missing two movies from that wall (RotJ will probably have to go under ESB, but that's fine). I think that might be my leg in the blinding light at the bottom, but that's not important . . . so yeah, middle case is bookcase, left case is . . . random stuffs and things I need to get out of the way, and . . . yeah. Between the cases are a thing of devil sticks (kinda fun to play with, though I rarely do) and a carnival mallet from that "test your strength" game. Heh, I lost. Anyway, let's get to swords now . . .
Of the five Chinese straight swords (or giem/geem in Cantonese, which rhymes with "seem") I found in the basement, these two were in the best condition - and even that was a stretch! The blue-tasseled one on top is the better-balanced one, though the grip is really loose; the red-tasseled one is longer and front-heavy. I put them against the bookcase there because I felt bad for them being in the far corner of my room with the spear-like device . . . I needed them to be closer to the other weapons . . . . . but yes, for the record, I'm not very good with a geem because they require finesse, of which I have none. Oh, extra fun little note: see the school assignment sticking out sideways on the shelf second from the bottom? That is the ORIGINAL, handed in hard copy of "How To Be A Chinese-Canadian" which I am so proud of!
The weapons!!! So yeah, that wicked stand with the two Chinese broadswords (do, which rhymes with "toe") was also hidden in the laundry room with the other weapons. Once I had room space, I felt I needed to liberate them for my own gain. Hehe . . . they're also front-heavy, so I don't think they'd be too good for a fight either. Ah well, they look cool. That said, I can fight with do a lot better than I can with geem. Under the swords, from left to right, are my slingshot (bought on a band trip to Idaho [more on that later]), two things of nunchaku that my dad AND older brother left behind (rusted chains not visible), and my . . . collectable Indiana Jones bullwhip. Heh. That said, I'm gonna point out all the bits of my wonderful Indiana Jones costume as we go around the room . . . so yeah, under that is the top shelf of modern-ish novels and comic books, divided by some moose-plushie I got during Dry Grad. And yes, that is Peace Maker Kurogane volume 1; it came with the first DVD. And yes, there are two Star Wars novels - my younger brother has the rest.
So this is how I'm gonna go about this, I think. Hopefully the pictures are of a decent size given photobucket's resizing restrictions. Tomorrow, shelves, shelves, and half of the west wall!

Teaser trailer . . .ish
If anyone missed it, I ranted about Star Wars in the previous post. No spoilers.
So here we are, back in real time . . . and what to talk about? Umm . . . oh! I know! How about movies . . . no wait, I haven't seen anything new yet. Umm . . .
. . . oh! Let's talk about work and . . . . . ah, screw that, Superstore's not fun to talk about . . . hmm . . . . . how about . . . um . . .
. . . . . alright, how about we just go back to my place for a bit, hang out in my room, and I'll think of something then?
No, seriously . . . here's the door for ya:
On the left is the bathroom if you need it. Also, though you can't tell, my brother's in there right that minute (nyah hah hah . . he was confused when he came out). Now, the coat of arms thingy on the door was made by me in Metalworks 10 about . . . 7-8 years ago (wow . . .). It includes aluminum casts for the hilts and band iron for the blades. And yeah, it's on my bedroom door.
This is but a taste of things to come: THE VIRTUAL TOUR OF MY ROOM!
I'll start it tomorrow, and go bit by bit . . . well, maybe. I dunno, either I could just list the whole album right away, but I also wanna talk about the pics in turn . . . . . so far I'm gonna go with maybe 5 pics at a time and be able to really talk about each one. That'll be about a week of playing around in my room. Any other ideas, be sure to tell me.
Oh, and just for fun, I took a couple shots of myself in reflections in said-bathroom so you can all see my long-ass hair - both the "still damp from shower" version AND the "dried out and poofy" version!
So this is in front of the long mirror, about ten minutes after showering.
A couple hours or so later, in front of the sink mirror, baring my teeth.
Technically the bathroom is more peach than yellow, but using a flash in front of a mirror would have been a bad idea . . . so yeah, this should be fun, ne?

Re: Star Wars . . . . . . to quote the tricycle kid from The Incredibles . . .
"THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!!!!!"
So yeah, I got to the theater at about 5pm for a 7:40 showing. Naturally I was the only one there out of a potential nine people . . . but, that hour before someone else came went by pretty quickly. 'Sides, I was about 20 people from the front, so seating was set for us. There was a group of hump kids/teens a couple groups ahead of me who I just wanted to beat the hell out of, though . . . they brought lightsabers, they were loud, they were running around "fighting" in the arcade area . . . which is fine and all, but man, they were just everywhere! Then they would talk about movies and stuff that were on the TV monitors showing trailers and stuff . . . then when they got to "Kingdom of Heaven", they started discussing how it's actually based on a true story just like "Indiana Jones" . . . . . ohhh, I wanted to smack them . . .
There was also a family of "Jedi": a mom, dad, and two sons all dressed in full attire. Their outfits actually looked really good, and for what I saw of them they all behaved quite nicely, so they were alright . . . now I REALLY want some of those long riding boots - I mean, they go with any kind of costume you can imagine!
At about 6pm my first friend finally showed up - but then he left again to get dinner at McDonald's downstairs. He got me a Big Xtra meal which was a blessing because I was starving, having not eaten anything all day except a thing of instant noodles around noon. So yeah, I felt much better.
At about 6:20 the aniki and his actor buddy (who got screwed by Smallville somewhat) came and grabbed my extra tickets. There were only two of them so in the end one of the tickets went to waste, but oh well. Soon after the other four guys arrived, but then went down to McDonald's for a similar reason as the other guy.
Then at about 7pm the doors opened and there were just two of us to hold eight seats (I decided I'd help my brother out as well). So me and the good friend hauled ass into the cinema and jacketed two rows of four center seats close to an aisle on the left. Man, I hate saving seats like that on a busy night . . . . . shortly afterwards the "coincidental" friend came and jacketed the four seats directly behind us as well . . . so yeah, we were all together which was cool.
Once we were all settled in and fed, we just stared at the movie screen watching whatever, talking to each other . . . the four "somewhat late" people were in the middle row chatting and playing with a PSP . . . . . me and my brother's actor friend started saying absurd things in an effort to rile up the natives . . .
"So what I never understood was, why do they keep calling Luke Ani?"
Why do they keep calling her queen or senator? I thought she was a princess . . ."
It didn't work, so we stopped.
Trailers were average. Two Vince Vaugn movies, "Fantastic Four" . . . "Stealth" looks ridiculous and the audience responded in turn (I mean, a military robot that goes rogue?! Imagine that!). That wasn't why we were there, though . . .
(Dum dum! Darra dum dum! Darrrrrrarraaraaa dum dum!)
DAH, DADADAAAAA, DA DA DA DA DA DAH, DADA DA DA DA DA DA DA DAH DA DA DAHHH DADAHHHHH!
Dadada DAH (Dah, dadaDaaah),
Dadada DAAAAH (Dah, dadaDAAAAH),
Dadada DAAAAAAAAH (DAH DAH DAH DAAAAAH)!
Applause.
"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away . . ."
More applause.
Opening Crawl
More applause . . . then shouts for people to turn off their lightsabers. Now one was of a hump kid in the back row waving it in front of the projector, he was risking his life for no good reason . . . I couldn't exactly tell, but I bet he was with those humps from the lineup . . . the other one was a special needs kid in the bottom corner who wasn't being tended to enough. But, a quarter of the way through the opening crawl and that was taken care of as well . . . so then it was time for the movie . . . . .
Annnnd . . . yeah. T'was good stuff.
Hehe, I won't say too much other than that since I know a bunch of ya haven't seen it yet. But DAAAAMN, there are some amazing things to see. Now, the whole reason I wanted to go to opening night was because of that energy in the room from the last ones. Y'know how when Darth Maul bought it in the first one, and then people cheered? Or when Yoda fired up his lightsaber for the first time and people cheered? Well, I was hoping for that.
There was very little cheering in that theater. This movie simply does not want you to jump up and cheer. It's heavy stuff . . . serious stuff . . . I mean, you cheer when they get the bad guy now and then, but I'll kid you not, there were times when I gasped out loud when things happen . . . seriously, "Order 66" is gonna be a phrase people will use in regular speech for a long time, I just know it.
Lightsaber fights? Bloody good stuff. The final fight is supposedly the longest swordfight in the history of cinema . . . and it doesn't blow it one bit. Remember how we all thought more fights and longer fights were the way to go? Then we got "Matrix: Reloaded" and realised we didn't want that? Thing was, in "Matrix", the fights were just fights; they didn't tell a story, or advance the relationships between the people, or whatever . . . . . this time though, oh man . . . GREAT storytelling in that fight! And then it comes to its end and gets wildly emotional . . . I just know that the next time I watch this movie I'll probably cry at a bunch of parts (it always happens second time around, I still don't get it).
So yeah, lotsa good stuff. Hayden's got a bit more to work with now and is a little more comfortable with his role and it shows (he's been fighting a war for ten years, after all). He still whines, but for the most part he's a pretty confident dude with long hair. Ian McDiarmid steals the show as Chancellor Palpatine and is absolutely the coolest puppetmaster to come into movies for a long time - his moves in this one really do put the other previous prequels into a slightly different light, which is good.
Then there's the dismemberments and disfigurements . . . heh, this one's pretty gross at times, actually. You know how it's kinda standard fare in Star Wars to chop off hands and stuff? Man . . . yeah, this one ups the ante a bit . . . . . and then there's the burnation of Anakin . . . owie, painful . . .
In the end, there's closure to the series. And y'know, it ain't a bad feeling . . .
Before I sign off from this damn long post, I'll leave one last thing for ya. Now, the first time Samuel L. Jackson showed himself on screen, my brother and his friend cheered and went on to do slightly odd punching motions . . . they continued to do this punching motion throughout the movie for Jackson's scenes . . . actually, I did now and then too . . . . . hehe. Anyway, the move is called the "Inglewood Jack", and the story behind it can be found here.
Alright, peace out, be sure to watch Star Wars once ya can, and have a good day.

Episode III: Special Edition
So here I am, 11:42am, about eight hours away from Star Wars. After practice we went out to eat and I think my cup of tea messed me up - couldn't sleep at all last night! Or maybe it was excitement . . . . . no, probably tea, I was listening to Final Fantasy VII music last night and getting away from the Star Wars for a little while (gasp-ish, I know). In the end I snagged another person from kung-fu, making the final total six people with three extra tickets. So yes, the aniki gets the last three, whenever he picks them up.
Funniest thing, though, is that by sheer coincidence, ANOTHER guy from kung-fu (who also went to the same high school as me and stuff but years prior) and his friends are going to the same show as us! I thought that was so funny to learn . . . so yeah, I think this is gonna work out for the better, perhaps.
I'll go see Star Wars again with "Boromir" and "Legolas" another time. Clearly I have no qualms with rewatching Star Wars . . .
Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow and tell ya how the showing went - not the movie, but the showing itself, for that is why the opening night is so important to me . . . . . and to you, even though many of you may not know it yet . . . mwah hah hah . . .

Episode III: Revenge of the Busy Schedules
I have a bad feeling about this . . .
"Boromir" can't make it. The timing is just too close for him. So basically there'll be one guy whom I'm friends with and strangers otherwise. Man, how did we all get so busy suddenly . . . . . so yeah, seems the aniki's gonna get about 3 or maybe 4 tickets for this evening . . . so he better use 'em, 'cause those tickets are nonrefundable, yo! This can't be helped, really . . . . . mattaku . . .
Watched AOTC yesterday, then played Battlefronts for a bit. For some reason I just can't win the Geonosis map as the Republic . . . so then I stopped playing. Ah well, it still got me into the mood a bit.
Meanwhiles, I'd best go drive to kung-fu now (it's 9pm Wednesday) and check up on the ONE friend of mine who's going to this thing . . . I'll probably post again tomorrow after I wake up. So yeah, may the force be with you and all that corny stuff. Better listen to that soundtrack a bit more . . .
DUNNNNN, DA DUN, DUNNN, DUNNN, DUNNN, DUNN, DUNN, DUNNNNN!
("Battle of the Heroes" is such a wicked song . . .)

Episode II: Attack of the Bonus Features
So yeah, "The Phantom Menace" with commentary's kinda fun. But still, my true love is in the making of documentary on the bonus disk - heh, Rick McCallum (the producer) is a potty mouth.
(Calling Ewan McGregor re: the part)
"Hey, Ewan! So f___in' great to hear you're on board!"
(Calling people after the sand storm in Tunisia)
"Yeah, it's me. The podracers are all f___ed up. They're totally f___ed."
(Speaking before the first screening of "The Phantom Menace" in Hollywood)
". . . . . . this is f___in' awesome." [cheering]
Heh, Ewan McGregor? Slightly less of a potty mouth, but still there.
So yeah, tonight (Wednesday) I'm gonna watch some ROTS OST DVD and check it out a bit (whoa, lots of acronyms . . .). Tomorrow I'll spend all day soaking in the goodness of the "Attack of the Clones" DVDs and enjoying all of that stuff. I gotta say, the saturation's doing wonders for my psyche all over again. 'Tis a good thing.
On the movie front, I just found out that "Boromir's" dad's birthday is also on the 19th . . . yikers. He's still optimistic, especially since he told me to save two of my three free tickets for some people he knows. I think it should be alright . . . but man, these have NEVER gone completely smoothly ever, so I guess starting now would just be weird. Ah well . . . . .
ONE MORE F____IN' DAY!!!!!
(In another bit of interesting thinking . . . . Princess Leia is the best shot in the whole series - think about it . . .)

Episode I: The Saturation Menace
Two days to go . . . . .
I got the tickets. I bought nine, though only seven were confirmed (this included "Boromir" and "Legolas" . . . then that went down to six when "Legolas" couldn't get out of work. So now I have three extra tickets to "Revenge of the Sith" . . . hopefully I can get a hold of at least a few more people, otherwise I'll just give 'em to the aniki. But yes, come 7:40pm PST, I'll be sittin' pretty . . . granted I'll hafta get in line for the showing maybe two hours early and all, but that's not so hard. But man, it's gonna be good . . .
So last week I FINALLY got around to buying the "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" DVD. Good or bad, that's not the point. Thing is, I REALLY need to churn through these disks. I've been out of the world for so long, I really need to immerse myself into it again. So yeah, last night I was up nice and late watching the special features disk and stuff. I might even watch the movie (with commentary) as well, even though it'll mean I'm up well into the morning. That's fine though, I only work in the evening.
So yes, time to get myself excited all over again . . .

Gotta plan for Star Wars . . .
I'm taking waaaay too long to plan this one out . . . . . I guess it's because a lot of my "main" friends are all off in school far away or other high-priority stuff this year. It's a shame . . . . . but yes, I think today after kung-fu practice I'm gonna go to the mall and buy those blasted tickets. I'm sure they won't be sold out and stuff [thinks fondly to getting on the cover of the local newspaper for the lineup at Episode I . . .]. But yeah, I like to have this sort of insurance, y'know? But yeah . . . I have very high hopes for this one. And y'know what else? I have total faith in it. So hah, naysayers.
'Sides, it's Star Wars! This may be the last time in a long time I'll get to revel in absolute movie geekery for a long time! And believe me, an opening night for Star Wars is about as geektastic as it gets . . . it's definitely a life experience that I really do recommend - the energy in a cinema just gets so insane that, well . . . . . ya gotta do it.
In other news, I'm glad that my Filler Episode article has been well received for the most part except for that one person. Meh, can't win 'em all. So yes, thank you all for reading it, if you did. And if not, well . . . you've got something to do in your spare time some time. There were some great comments, too! Heh . . . there were the people who never even knew of the concept of filler episodes, there were the ones who blasted Wolf's Rain . . . then there was the person who told me that the article got boring one paragraph in and stopped . . . ah, fun times . . .
Anyway, I'm probably gonna ask about snagging that digital camera soon and start capturing all angles of my room within the week. Should be fun, ne?
